~Prolog~
It was like every other day for her she was once again getting ready for another day of work …Yes work and home were her life
She worked at the Famous Youkai Casino that catered to all she was a Miko but hid her abilities in fear like so many before her Mikos were hunted sport for Youkai the Controlled the world they held the Shikon no tama her ancestors were once it’s guardians and so she dealt closely with Youkai lords she her self had watch her grandmother die due to her abilities as a Miko. She was challenged by the lord of the north an almost succeed in purifying him But he taped in to the jewels power and she banished before her eyes and the northern lord brought her home to her mother telling her that they would no report to him if any more “interesting” power showed up
She feared Youkai as she should her daughter like her had amazing power
Her Daughter Kagome would one day be brought be for the northern lord and tested
Her she the plotted something to keep her daughter safe and reveal her self to the Northern lord and save her daughter she prayed to kami and made a charm to seal the young girls powers she was friends with many Hanyou and Youkai the young Kagome’s power was charm and love
Quiet tears slipped form her eyes he called again the Lord of the north it was time for the test she would sell her self to him to keep her safe.. But it was not to be Her daughter now worked were she did and her powers grew stronger each day the Tainted Shiko No Tama was there and each day Kagome passed by the tainted jewel it would glow from it’s dark black negative energy to the color it was meant to be a glorious pink pure light even if it was just for a second…her time was running out she had to giver her daughter the charm now before he found out be for she too was challenged like her great grandmother before her
Her heart pounded
“Kagome”
her voice reached over to her daughter and co-worker and healed out the box
“Happy Birthday”
Loud foot steeps shook the ground he was coming the lord of the world
‘Quickly love open it and put it on’ her mind pleased and her daughter did with each lace of the bow on the box the earth shook and quaked she opened the box and a raor filled the air
“Okasan it’s beautiful.”
Her blue eyes sparkled at the star shaped pendent as she lifted it out of the box thunder and lighting filled the sky her mother’s eyes filled with tears and her heart pounded
“Let me help you put it on.”
As the girl turned a bang on the door was echoing thought the world
Her mother quickly latched the pendent on her daughter and then
A scream filled the
“KAGOME!”
And then darkness followed by another scream
“OKASAN!!!!”
