Heartache

okay this is the very first fan fic i wrote...i dont know where its gonna go, ive been holdin on to it for too long so i thought i might as well add it. anyway tell me what you guys think leave me reviews and suggestions would be awesome! thanx much!

"Where is she?"

"Hmp...take her" he said as he threw her limp body to the ground.

"I've done all i needed with her. She was quite the sport, Inuyasha"

"You bastard! What did you do to her?" he growld as he held Kagome in his arms. Her hair was matted and she was bruised badly. Her breath was jagged and her heartbeat was faint.

"Damit Naraku, answer me! What did you do to Kagome?"

"Me? Nothing, unfortunatly i was stopped." He said with a wicked smile as he turned around to his castle.

"Why do you make your presence known...Kikyou"

"Ki...Kikyou?" Inuyasha repeated breathlessly while looking up towards the castle.

She came out slowly. She had her bow and arrows in hand. "Suprised to see me Inuyasha?"

"You...you didn't!" He said with shock and anger in his voice.

"Oh, you should know me better by now." she said. She was now standing directly over him. She was getting angrier by what she saw. Inuyasha was bent on his knees holding Kagome possesivly. Kagome lay there, limp in his arms.

"I told you Inuyasha, you are MINE! Only i can have you." Her words were like poision as she said
them Kikyou was now circling them as she continued. "Yet you walk around with her as if thats the way it always was"

"Stop...Kikyou!" His head was down. He was now hugging Kagome tight, rocking back and forth, whispering in her ear.

"Please Kagome, wake up...I need you...please don't do this...WAKE UP!"

"She wont!" Naraku said with a smile on his crule face. He pleased with the current situation. "She has some...very powerful poison in her. I doubt she'll live." His gaze shifted from Inuyasha and Kagome to Kikyou.

"No point in keeping her around, she's just a distraction" Kikyou said with anger coming off of her in waves as she readied her bow. "I should just eliminate the distraction for you Inuyasha!" and with that she released the arrow for Kagome.

"NO!" Inuyasha screamed as he unsheathed the Tetsuiga."I wont let you hurt her!" he said and before he knew it he had swung the sword, unleashing Tetsuiga's ultimate technique...The Backlashwave.

"INUYASHA!" Kikyou screamed. Somehow the Tetsuiga was able to turn the sacred arrow's power to Kikyou. It looked as if the two attacks were fighting. Eventually the swords power took over sending both Kikyou and Naraku to hell. After the attack, Inuyasha dropped the sword and had run back to Kagome. By the time he got to her she was pale and cold. He couldn't feel or hear her heart.

"No...Kagome...please...don't do this, don't go...please Kagome" He was holding her, rocking back and forth. His tears were dripping on her head as he pleaded for her to stay.

"Kagome, I need you here with me...don't leave me." he was crying even more now.

"I LOVE YOU! Please don't go!" he screamed.

"I love you...i love you Kagome, stay with me." and with that a blue light threw him away from Kagome. The blue aura that surrounded her body seemed to have come from Kikyou's body.
The little bit of Kagome's soul that Kikyou was living off of was finally back in Kagome. It was just enough to bring Kagome back.

"Inu-Inuyasha..."

He heard her voice, she was weak and calling out to him. Inuyasha immediatly ran to where Kagome was. Her eyes were slightly open, her lips were parted and she was panting, trying to fill her lungs.

"Ka-Kagome!" Inuyasha immidaitely hugged her and told her he was sorry for everything that had happend. He was brought out of his apology by Kagomes moan. He pulled back to examine her face. She had a few scratches on her neck and a big bruse on her cheek as if someone had slapped her a couple of times.

Kagome reached out her hand to Inuyashas face and wiped away the unshed tears. "Inuyasha, why were you crying?" she asked rather breathlessly.

He hugged her tightly once more, pulling her into his lap. "Kagome, i thought...i thought i lost you. I was so scared"

She hugged him back just as tightly and ran her fingers through his hair. Though she was in much pain at the time, she couldnt help but feel completely happy. They were suddenly lifted off the ground and she realized that Inuyasha was carring her off somewhere.

"Where are we going Inu-" she was cut off when one of his clawed fingers touched her lips.

"Im going to take you somewhere you can rest and get cleaned up, dont worry Kagome." and with that, he walked over to retrieve his Tetsuiga and they were off.
