Captured
Kagome Higurashi sat shivering in the middle of a small, damp, dark cell. She was no older then nine years old, daughter of a powerful miko and monk. The child had been taking a break from her miko trainning when she was captured and taken away from her shrine.
~*~*~Flashback~*~*~
"Mom, can I, please, go out side to play, please?" Kagome pleaded with an older miko.
"Sure, but don't go to far ..." Kagome was already halfway down the shrine steps. "Be back in a hour," she shouted after her.
Kagome wandered a quarter mile west toward a meadow of flowers, unknowningly walking into danger, a trap set to capture young girls. A demon, around the age of 11, sat hidden in the trees surrounding the clearing waiting to spring the trap on any young girls who happen to wander to far from their village. With him sat a hanyou around the age of 9, who had never before gone on the hunt, eager to finally be able to choose a girl of his own.
"A young girl is headed this way," the 11 year old announced
Kagome arrived ten minutes later humming a silent song, unaware of what dangers lay ahead of her.
"She's to young for my liking and a miko, too," the young demon observed.
The hanyou ignored his whispered observation, he could do nothing but stare as if he was in some sort of trance. The demon sat idly by as his young compainion slowly made his way toward the girl, not knowing of the danger of a young miko and their untrainned powers.
Kagome had let her gruad down not really caring what was out in the surrounding trees. She sat down in the middle of the clearing, picking the flowers around her as she continued her silent song. She never knewn what happened for she didn't sense his arua until it was to late.
She never even got to turn aroud before she blacked out.

Silent tears streaked down her face as she thought of her parents and all her friends back at her village. She doesn't know what fate has instore for her but she knowns that they aren't in it.
She was still cring when a door opened letting in a bright light, blinding her.
A/N: I know that it seems that I'm new at this whole writing thing, I'm not it's just this site. I had this whole chapter typed and ready to save but the site said I wasn't logged in so I had to redo as much as I could remember. I just got a new computer so i don't have word and i have to type this stuff directly on the site. The original first chapter was good way better then this crap ut what can i do it got lost and it taught me a lesson. Write it down as you change it so you don't forget. Oh by the way thanks to the two reviewers, Inufan625 and fred (this comment is mostly to Fred) bye.
