Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's Romance

Inuyasha sat up in his tree looking at the Shikon No Tama. While Kagome sat under the tree reading a book. He jumped down and took the book out of her hands and throw it in the woods.

”Hey, Inuyasha!” She stood up and went to head for her book but he stopped her.

”You read too much. Walk with me?” He gave her puppy eyes.

”Well, okay.” Then she held his hand as they walked together. They walked in silence for an hour before either of them said something. “Did you want to talk about something?” She stopped him and made him face her.

”Um... Well there might be something. But I’m not sure how to tell you.” She leaned forward and kissed him. She went to slip her tongue in his mouth but his tongue met hers half way and was blocking the entrance. Demanding to get in she pushed his tongue back and entered. He pulled back and stopped her when she tried to kiss him again.

”Please, I think I have to tell you this. Both of us are hiding from the truth.”

”Kagome? Inuyasha?” Said Sango walking towards them.

”Sango!” Yelled Kagome as she ran towards her and hugged her tightly. “Sango, it’s been so long, I’m so happy to see you. Where’s Miroku?” Sango turned around and yelled for Miroku. Then Kagome saw him in the distance. “So how are the two of you?”

”Well, I guess we’re doing good. What about you and Inuyasha? Have you two kissed yet?” Inuyasha looked over at her and growled.

”It’s none of your business!” Snapped Inuyasha. “Why don’t you go!”

”Inuyasha! Sit!” Said Kagome, then looked over at Sango. “Let’s go talk where we won’t be bothered.” Inuyasha jumped up in the nearest tree and folded his arms.

”Fine! I’ll just… Sit here and… Go to sleep… So there!” Kagome looked up at him and she thought she saw a tear. What to do? Stay here with Inuyasha, who I see every day or go off with Sango, who I haven’t seen in months? Kagome thought to herself.

”Ummm, Sango, I’ll have to catch up with you tomorrow. I’m really tired and I’m just going to go to bed. See you in the morning, okay?”

”Okay Kagome, I understand. See you later.” Then she left.

”Inuyasha…” He didn’t respond. “Inuyasha, please come down here…” Still no answer. “Please,I need to talk to you. Okay, stay up there then, I’ll talk to you from down here.” Though I don’t know what to say. “Inuyasha, I’m sorry that I said the S word. You didn’t deserve it. But, I wasn’t going to tell Sango about our life. You didn’t have to get all Grrrrrr about it. I know you like to act tough in front of others, but Sango is our friend and you didn’t have to snap at her. Well, I don’t have any thing else to say… So, goodnight.” Then she fell asleep under the tree. Inuyasha jumped down and kissed her goodnight.

”I just wanted to tell you that I love you.” Then he went off into the woods.
