|:| Chapter One ~ Bang Baby |:|

“Baby Love, I can’t get ready if you keep doing thought” She tired to pull away from his grasp, but he held her closer.

“If you can’t get ready then you can’t leave…” He smirked attacking her bare shoulders his hands gasping her ass firmly.

“Naraku, I’m not kidding. I can’t be late to…night…aaa…not the neck.”

“My sexy little flower…damn you taste good.” He growled against her neck.

“Ok! Enough I gotta go for real this time Naraku.”

“Heh…ok. Fine, but when you get home your ass is mine.” He pulled away leaning against the wall.

“I wouldn’t have it any other way. Are you coming to see me sing tonight?”

“You know I love nothing more than to hear you sing, but I can’t. I’ve got a shipment coming in tonight. Plus there are a few leaks going around…have to see about getting a guy’s legs broken…I’m…”

“Busy.” She frowned flopping into the cushioned stool by her make-up mirror.

“My little flower…don’t be mad. It’s business. I can’t take care of us if I don’t take care of my business. You know that.”

“I know.” She looked into his tender lilac eyes from her mirror.

“Don’t worry…. I’ll make it up to you in Hawaii.”

“Hawaii! We’re going to Hawaii?” She spun around wrapping her arms around his neck.

“I wanted to surprise you, but there’s no harm in telling you a bit early.”

“Oh baby love!” She brushed her lips to his in a hot kiss.

“Keep that up and you won’t make it to the club.” He smirked.

He watched her from the upstairs landing; she was a vision of beauty. He’d do anything for her. She was all he had in the world. She was the only thing that kept him sane in his times of darkness. Everyday someone was out to get him, whether it be the police, another crime lord, or just some two-bit gangster trying to make a name for himself. She was pure, untainted by anything evil; the two of them meet in a club. She was a waitress, and right away he knew she was something special. That and she had an ass that just wouldn’t quit! Built like a Greek goddess, with an intoxication scent of cherry blossoms and ripe peaches.

One taste of her and he was ready to sell his soul for the rest. Her voice was one that could make an angel cry with joy, never had he heard such a voice come from a woman. She was too good for him on all levels that made sense, yet she didn’t see it that way. Every night she’d tell him just how lucky she was to have him, and she’d do all she could to make him happy. She’d told him that for three years now. He planned to mate with her on their trip to Hawaii. He was going to make it a trip she would never forget. She looked back at him, with a gut wrenching smile that made his heart beat faster.

“I love you Naraku.”

“I love you too baby, see you when you get home.”

“M’kay.” She walked out the house followed by Naraku’s sister Kagura.

Standing behind the curtain she took a deep breath, while Kagura fixed a few lose strands of hair from he face.

“Ladies and Gentlemen…it is my pleasure to introduce to you, the wonderful singing talents of Miss. Sakura.” He stood off to the side, watching with soft eyes as she walked towards him.

The crowd erupted with applause as she came in front of the microphone; the stage had a yellowish glow. A piano was the only thing behind her, as her dress glistened in the light

“Thank you, I don’t know why but this song came to me in a dream and it’s brand new…so here it is for the first time. I hope you like it.” She turned nodding to the pianist who started to play.

Her voice could take away every dark emotion in a person. It was like cleaning the soul. You couldn’t help but be entranced by it.

*I miss you
I miss you so bad
I don’t forget you
Oh it’s so sad*

Naraku groaned stepping out of the shower; she’d be on the stage now. He pulled up his boxer, then his freshly pressed pants. His hair was still damp from the shower, but he could care less. He only begun to put his shoes on when someone turned the doorknob. His head turned slowly as the bedroom door crept open. As the door opened, he half expecting to see Sakura standing there.

*I hope you can hear me
I remember it clearly
The day you slipped away
Was the day I found
It won’t be the same*

“Sakura, I thought you left. You forget something?” He stood when the door fully opened.

“What the hell are you doing here?!” he went to move, but the first shot fired, hitting his shoulder.

*I didn’t get around to kiss you
Goodbye on the hand
I wish see you again
I know that I can’t*

He fell back to the ground crying out in pain. He tried to roll over, yet they moved closer like a shadow creeping in the darkness. His hand griped his shoulder as he rolled over getting on his knees. When another shot was fired, hitting his left side.

*I hope you can hear me
I remember it clearly
The day you slipped away
Was the day I found
It won’t be the same*

“You…won’t find it…she’ll protect it.” He groaned, his eyes began to blur from lose of blood.

Two shots went off this time both in his back, as he tried to crawl away. Where he was going he didn’t know, but it had to be better than laying in one place. His used his right elbow dragging his body towards the side table draw by the bed, where he kept his gun. He had to do something, anything damnit! Who would protect Sakura?

*I’ve had my wake up
Won’t you wake up
I keep asking why
I can’t take it
It wasn’t fake
It happened you passed by*

He paused when the gun was pressed to the back of his head; the chamber was pulled back one last time. He closed his eyes, a tear that he had no control over rolled down is cheek. His mind flashed with images of the woman he loved with all his heart. She’d be alone, she had not family. Why had he waited so long to mate with her? At least, she loved him with all her heart.

“I love you Sakura…” The shot fired, and his head dropped to the ground his world going dark, his last thought being of his sweet flower.

*Now you’re gone
Now you’re gone
There you go
There you go
Somewhere I can’t bring you back*

It was only ten fifteen at night when his phone rang. He removed his arm from around the woman who laid sleep beside him, rolling over to reach for the phone.

“Hello?” He slowly pushed himself up more in the bed.

“Inuyasha?” He could tell it was Miroku.

“Yeah…what’s up?”

“We need you to get down here… something big just happened.” Inuyasha was now awake.

“Where at?” The woman rolled over nuzzling her pillow.

“Over here on the eastside…look I know it’s late but…”

“No, it’s cool I’m on my way.” He hung up kissing the forward of the sleeping woman before getting out of bed.

*Now you’re gone
Now you’re gone
There you go
There you go
Somewhere you’re not coming back*

He appeared on the scene, surprised at his luck. This was just what he needed to get a boost in his career. He pulled his Ford Navigator into the circle drive of the estate; the place was covered with cop cars. As neighbors peaked though bedroom windows, and slipped into the street for a glimpse of what happen. He parked next to his brother’s Lexus, getting out his shoved his car keys into the back pocket of the jeans he’d worn earlier. He didn’t bother to wear a shirt and had grabbed his gray pullover on the way out the house. He stopped dead in his tracks, standing in the middle of the marble entryway of the once most powerful crime lord’s home. Naraku Nitta, he still couldn’t believe he was killed in his own damn house.

*The day you slipped away
Was the day I found
It won’t be the same*

He entered the bedroom quickly covering his nose to prevent a massive headache.

“Holy Shit…” He looked down seeing what was left of the guy lying on the floor.

“Hey…pretty nasty I know.” Miroku exited from the bathroom, Sesshomaru following.

“Who called it?” Inuyasha asked, he took a few steps back feeling sick from the smell.

“He did…work for Naraku, name’s Hakudoushi. Say’s he was waiting for him outside for about forty minutes, when he didn’t show up. He used his spare key and let himself in, to find him like this.” Sesshomaru looked over and the dazed boy sitting on the edge of the bed facing away from the body.

“Damn…right in the back of the head…”

“Gross…” Inuyasha walked over to Hakudoushi kneeling down in front of him.

“You look pretty young…how old are you kid?” at first he didn’t say anything, when Inuyasha cleared his throat he looked at him.

“Huh?”

“Something on your mind?” Miroku asked.

“What am I going to tell Sakura?” he spoke more so to himself rather them.

“Sakura? Who’s Sakura?” Sesshomaru looked around the room, there were no pictures.

“I miss you…” Her eyes opened and the crowd jumped to their feet, cheers rang out roses flooded the stage.

Kagura smiled softly from the side of the stage, and Sakura smiled at her, picking up a rose she bowed repeating thank you over and over again. Once the curtain was closed she rushed off stage, her dress floating around her knees. She hugged Kagura still smiling.

“You did great, I love the song.”

“Thank you…can we go home now?”

“Sure.” She pulled their coats off the hook, handing Sakura hers.

“I can’t wait to see my baby.” She cheered like an excited child.

The two rode in the back of the limousine, Sakura mindlessly looking out the window, when Kagura’s cell phone went off. She glanced over for only a second before turning back to the window.

“This is Kagura.”

"Wait…calm down I can’t hear you Hakudoushi breath honey… now slowly, what happened?”

As if hearing the words herself she turned slowly looking at Kagura, “Kagura…what’s wrong?”

Kagura turned pale white and slowly looked Sakura in the eyes, only the limousine turned into the drive, and Sakura went straight into a panic. She didn’t wait for the car to stop before opening the door and racing out. Kagura took after her, but she was moving to fast.

“No…No, Naraku! Naraku!” Sakura screamed running into the house. Kagura dodge the officers trying to hold her back.

“Naraku!” She leapt up the stairs three at a time, trying to get to him.

Why wasn’t he answering her? She found her answer when she bust into their bedroom and found her lover on the floor. It had happened so fast Inuyasha never saw the woman come in the room. Sesshomaru had managed to hold back Kagura, but Hakudoushi stood and back into the corner. Inuyasha couldn’t understand why the kid was so scared.

“Na...Nara…Naraku.” She stood still and her mind couldn’t focus, it couldn’t make sense out of anything.

“He’s not answering me…” She looked at him, he didn’t move.

She could see the blood, smell the blood…she could smell death, his death. He was dead? No…Naraku wasn’t dead, this was a trick. He liked to play tricks.

Kagura begged Sesshomaru to let her go, and he did slowly she moved toward Sakura who just stared down at Naraku. Her instinct told her he was dead, so her body reacted. Tears came on hard and she started to breath faster, as if she couldn’t catch her breath. Kagura took her arm trying to pull her away but she didn’t move.

“He’s not moving Kagura…why it’s he moving?” She knelt down her white coat falling into a puddle of his blood.

“He’s sleeping Kagura…right?” Kagura hadn’t noticed but somewhere she’d started to cry as well.

“No Sakura…he’s….gone baby…he’s gone.”

“Shut up! Naraku’s wake up baby…you have to wake up now, and send all these people away…we have to talk about our trip…remember?” She started to choke on her tears and Kagura held her from behind crying on her back.

“Get up! Get up Naraku!” But he didn’t move, she didn’t touch him…she couldn’t touch him…

“No…no…he’s…he…please. Please wake up Naraku, I’m sorry I left…I won’t leave again. I stay right here and never leave again.”

“Inuyasha…do something?” Miroku whispered.

“I…I don’t…what should I do?” he looked torn up, he never had to be around this, he only was around dead people, never the morning ones, she looked dazed, like she really thought he was pulling some kind of joke. Didn’t she see his brains all over the floor?

“He can’t leave me…I don’t have anyone…he’s all…he’s all I have. Please wake up. Please…” She reached out stroking his hair, he loved that when she touch his hair.

“No…NO!!” She screamed her body breaking down on all counts.

Her body could no longer take the smell, and she ran to the bathroom leaning over the tub throwing up violently. Hakudoushi swallowed hard moving towards the bathroom, he knelt beside her. Once again she vomited; she gripped the tub harder this time. She broke down; her eyes blood red from eyes. They burned but her body was numb and couldn’t register the pain. Kagura walked out the room, her head lowered.

“What the hell do I do now?” She whispered as she passed by Inuyasha.

He watched the broken woman still hanging over the tub, just what the hell was he supposes to do?
