Chapter One

It Starts!!

"What do you want Sesshoumaru?" Inuyasha barks as he readies himself for yet another battle with his brother.

"What I always want, Little Brother." Sesshoumaru states in a mocking tone.

"Give it up Sesshoumaru you can't even touch it with your Demon blood." Kagome spits from behind a rock.

"Really Inuyasha why you keep her around I will never understand." Sesshoumaru says with a smirk as he quickly advances toward him. Their swords hit with a thunderous clank and Inuyasha is thrown back a bit. "You really are pitiful you know that little brother."

Inuyasha growls as he raises Tetsusaiga again to charge Sesshoumaru. "Shut up you asshole." Again, the swords hit and they stand together one trying to out do the other.

"If I didn't know better I would call this a form of male bonding." Sango states calmly as she watches the scene before her. She sighs as she grabs her boomerang and tosses it hitting the swords to make them separate. "We don't have time for this right now Inuyasha lets just go, he will disappear like always until he gets bored again."

"Sango will stop medalling you stupid bitch," Inuyasha screams as he gives Sesshoumaru the death glare. "I will finish this now." He runs toward Sesshoumaru again. Suddenly upon impact of the swords, a blinding light fills the air and all around cover their eyes to shield them from going blind. Except for Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru who still stand face to face when the light disappears the look at each other with wide eyes. Jumping back, they check out their bodies.

"You fucking asshole what have you done now?" Sesshoumaru spits and everyone's mouth drops open.

"What are you talking about." Inuyasha asks as he lifts his hand and shakes the Tetsusaiga with a pleasing smirk across his lip. "So now it is mine." He says as a smirk slowly perches on his lips, looking up to Sesshoumaru he waves the Tetsusaiga in a teasing manner. "You want it don't you." He giggles as he circles the stunned dog demon. "You want so badly to touch it to claim it as your own." He teases, as he talks low so no one else can hear him. "Now I can use it to do what I have always wanted to do with its powers."

"And what the fuck is that." Sesshoumaru spits not caring to keep his voice low.

"I will rule all Demons. That Naraku want-to-be will finally meet his match." Inuyasha laughs an evil laugh, as his eyes look cold onto Sesshoumaru.

"What the hell is going on over there." Miroku watches as Sesshoumaru stands still and Inuyasha circles him as if he is pray. "As Inuyasha won this fight. Why is Sesshoumaru not moving."

"I don't know it doesn't fell right, something is so wrong." Kagome says with a concerned tone. She comes running out with her bow in hand and arrow pulled back ready for release. "It is time for you to go Sesshoumaru or I will release this and I won't miss."

Inuyasha gives an evil smirk as he jumps back. "Do it wench let it fly right in his throat."

"Kagome." Sesshoumaru whispers as his eyes meet hers. Kagloosloosens her grip as her held tilts looking into his eyes. Sesshoumaru turns quickly and runs away.

"Oh no you don't." Inuyasha shouts as he takes off after him. "I will kill you now."

"SIT BOY!" Kagome screams and Inuyasha hits the ground coming down with a hard hit from a flight into the air.

"What the..." He sits up and grabs the glowing beads around his neck. "That hurt."

"Inuyasha let him go. You have won this round." Miroku says as he walks up to stand beside him. The rest of them run up and Kagome kneels down beside him placing her hands on his shoulder witch he quickly shrugs away.

"I'm sorry Inuyasha but it..." she trails off in thought at the look in his eyes. "He looked sad I couldn't let you hurt him."

"Sad? You stupid little human, he looked sad because I was going to kill him." Inuyasha stands tall and brushes himself off. "And don't ever touch me again." He commands before walking away. Miroku and Sango watch with dropped jaws as Kagome sits with tears in her eyes.

"Kagome are you OK he is just a little upset he didn't mean..."

"No Sango I think he meant it, he felt so cold and frigid. Something is wrong with him."

"Well lets not stand and ponder over it he is getting away." Miroku says as he begins to follow in direction Inuyasha disappeared.

Sesshoumaru walks with a lost expression and confusion in his eyes. "What just happened back there." He asks aloud suddenly feeling very much alone when no answer came his way. Not knowing where he was going or what was driving him in that direction he continues in a lost daze and a slow pace.

Inuyasha jumps from tree to tree trying to put as much distance between him and the group of humans thatm tom to be trailing him very well and closing in faster then he would like. Fighting all the while to try to remove the beads that hang around his neck. "I can't let them find me" he growls as he lands to enter a cave. Slumping against the farthest wall he gives an evil giggle as he lifts Tetsusaiga to relish in his win, long coming but finally he has what he thinks he as always wanted and all he has ever needed.
