Too Much Time On Their Hands

Lycos sat in his room writing another poem on his computer when Ronin barged in with his pillow in hand wearing nothing except for boxer shorts plus a t shirt that looked like it had been on the floor for a week. In fact it probably had been. The young males in this house were so gross.

“Why don’t you just roll in the dirt and drag it in here with you Ronin? I swear you and Jimmy do not give a crap about how you smell when you work out then just throw your shirts on the floor only to wear them again.”

Ronin smelled his pits and threw his shirt on the floor after shaking his head. Lycos was right, that shirt reeked. He accidently grabbed the wrong one in his rush to get to have a night alone with Lycos.

“Sorry, just will go without.”

Ronin flopped on the bed throwing the pillow under his head as Lycos kept typing.

“So, what ya writing this time gorgeous? Are ya writing a story or a poem?”

Lycos sighed turning to look at Ronin who obviously made himself completely comfortable with his new bag of chips munching them on his bed.

“I am finishing that poem that I told you about idiot. You knew that before you busted in here just deciding that was your spot on my bed. Just make yourself at home why don’t you? Why not just order pizza and have it delivered to the bed with some breadsticks to make things more comfortable for you? Don’t get any crumbs in my bed jerk and I will not have you staining my room spilling beer in here like you did last time you ‘visited’.”

Ronin smirked and pat the bed next to him.

“Actually, I already ordered pizza and I put beer in your fridge when you were in the bathroom. Come on Lycos, this is supposed to be a sleepover so let’s hang out. I even brought movies.”

Lycos sighed shutting down the computer and then looked at the movies. Throwing them at Ronin in disgust since they were all porno movies Lycos turned on the TV as Ronin put an arm casually around Lycos shoulders pretending to yawn.

“You are so predictable.”

Ronin shrugged. Lycos didn’t remove his arm yet so it looked good so far.

“Why don’t you want to kiss me? You haven’t ever kissed anyone have you Lycos? I mean how do you know if you like it or not.”

Lycos frowned and rolled his eyes.

“If I let you kiss me will you shut the hell up and remove your arm from my person?”

Ronin sighed and then smirked shrugging. It could be fun.

“Ok, I will do so, but only if I get to kiss you for as long as I want to and only if I can touch you.”

Lycos growled lowly changing the channel to something more interesting since he wanted to watch a good opera, theatre show, or classic music channel.

“Forget it. Leave your arm there and no I don’t want to try to kiss anyone. I have no interest and I do know what it is so I do not need to have you show me. I kissed Coty plenty of times. I am good.”

Ronin waited as the servants brought the pizza and drinks to the door knocking softly. He practically knocked Lycos unconscious when he got up to answer the door for food. It was like clockwork. If there was food the men in the house were like ravenous……….well……..dogs. They loved food.

“Mmmmmmm pizza……..meat lovers for me and vegetarian for you just the way you like it Lycos.”

Lycos smiled at the pizza. Still Ronin wasn’t going to get him drunk no matter how much beer he was offered. The pizza was exactly what he wanted though.

“Thanks Ronin. I swear no one else would get me this even if I do think you are an asshole most of the time.”

Ronin smiled and sat next to Lycos who was sitting cross legged on the bed.

“It’s cool Lycos. See I get you, I don’t get most of the people in the house, but I get you. You just want to be left alone. Still, no one should be alone so I have to torment you. Tonight I get you to myself and then you can have your room again unless you don’t want to throw me out tomorrow.”

Lycos looked at Ronin’s lovesick hopeful eyes with a bored expression on his face with that perfect Hn sound just like Father.

“Don’t get your hopes up pal.”

After pizza was done the two drank a few beers. Lycos accidently spilled some beer onto his lap and although Ronin offered to lick it off with those wiggling golden eyebrows that never hid the intentions he had, Lycos easily declined calling Ronin a perverted letch.

“I am gonna take a shower. Don’t you dare come in or peek. I will kill you if you do.”

Lycos stated as he rushed into the bathroom. That smell was coming back, the one that made him have to hide as Lycos took everything off. No beer would hide it and eventually Ronin would smell it. Hopefully the scent oils that Megan, Luna, and Tsukiya got him would work since they were the only two who truly knew Lycos’ secret.

“I don’t know what the big deal is. We are all brothers and we used to take showers together.”

Ronin growled as he sat in front of the TV getting drunk off a case of really good beer. They had two cases to go. He had to go pee so fuck Lycos. He was going in since there was no way in hell he would make it back to his bathroom and Lycos promised to let him spend the night. Bastard probably was using up all the hot water in the house too.

“Lycos I have to………………”

Ronin stated as he unlocked the door with his claw walking into a room with a sight that would make him think he lost his mind. There was Lycos, naked in the shower scrubbing the most perfect female body he had seen in his life. No fucking way!

Practically salivating Ronin couldn’t move as he watched the goddess in the shower with the long silvery hair, perfect small handful sized breasts, long legs, and such curves only he could have imagined in wet dreams. Ronin had plenty of those too imaging Lycos as a man in his arms. This was so unexpected. Ronin felt himself grow hard very fast and moan out loud before Lycos’ head popped up. Red eyes that screamed murder bore into his, but Ronin didn’t move. That was mistake.

“Ronin!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Lycos screeched at him as Ronin held his ears and still stared open mouthed. His beast wasn’t going to move, but Lycos’s power shoved him out of the shower knocking him into the wall clean across the room causing him to fly right into his own bedroom as a perfect hole in the shape of his body went through four cement walls.

Ronin at that point passed out cold with a dumb ass happy grin on his face. He was hooked and Lycos was going to be his mate even if he had to tie Lycos up to make it so. What a woman!

Lycos sat on her bed shaking in fury. How dare Ronin walk in! This was just great! Now that asshole knew about her secret and why Coty couldn’t be with her. Now that bastard wouldn’t back down ever. It wasn’t Lycos fault that when she once was a chimera like Tsukiya that part just fell off or disappeared one morning. It happened to Luna, but when she was a baby. It didn’t happen after turning 500 years old and suddenly the part that made Lycos male was gone except Lycos’ voice didn’t change.

“Stupid bastard………I should have said no. I knew it! I can't believe Ronin and his inability to act normal around anyone. I told him not to come in damn it!”

Lycos started to cry as she held her hands to her head still wrapped in her towel. Ronin wandered in crawling on the floor with a bouquet of flowers he must have grabbed from the kitchen table with a rose in his teeth.

“Sorry………”

Ronin stated tilting his head to the side while saying this with the rose in his mouth. Lycos just glared at him as she took the flowers then threw them across the room.

“I told you not to come in.”

Lycos stated as her eyes bled a bit red in fury. She felt very exposed and vulnerable right now.

“Lycos, I really am sorry………..I mean………I didn’t expect………well you did invite me to spend the night.”

Ronin stated as he tried to sit next to Lycos who moved away then threw his pillow at him.

“Get out of my room. You are no longer welcome.”

Lycos stated as Ronin set the rose on her lap and walked to the door.

“I would never force myself on you Lycos and I didn’t know. You do not have to be so mean to everyone. I accept you no matter what and I love you no matter what. Someday you will not be able to just hide in your room forever and you will be alone. I will have found another mate, but I want you. I still will wait, but not if you keep pushing people away forever. Especially me since I do love you.”

Ronin straightened his shoulders walking out of the room not looking back. It hurt that Lycos would think that he would intentionally try to break trust. If Lycos had told them the truth he never would have walked in on her like that.

Sitting in his room, Ronin got out his guitar. The walls had spells on them so they were slowly closing up as if he never went through them. He started to play a song on his guitar. The one he wanted to use when he asked Lycos to be his mate and then he would come up with something more romantic later. Right now he wanted to ask Lycos to marry him, but she wouldn’t listen. She was mad and after such a nice view of her assets Ronin really needed a cold shower himself.

Ronin slowly started the melody singing to one of his favorite bands.

Lycos was dressed in a long black robe wearing PJ’s standing by Ronin’s door as she looked at the man who looked heartbroken as he sang with that long silky straight blond hair flowing about him. Ronin was singing a song for her and he was good. He never sang to her before or anyone. Ronin looked like a bad boy rock star most of the time so Lycos was surprised that this talent was not something that the brothers did more often since Shippo was the last one who used to be in a rock band.

When the song was done Lycos looked at Ronin.

“So what you are saying is I could beat the hell out of you and drag you around by your toenails and you would still love me? You are strange, but I forgive you. You didn’t know and I should have told you even if I think you are an asshole. I told you not to walk in on me so don’t think I like you at all.”

Ronin sighed as he put down his guitar. Lycos was impossible. Pulling her into his arms he kissed her passionately unable to control it anymore. Ronin had been more then patient. Gently caressing her face Lycos frowned at Ronin.

“I love you no matter what you look like and I was not trying to be an asshole. I am going to mate you and any asshole who tries to take you will be killed more than likely. So, what do you want to do Lycos? Make me insane or be my wife?”

Lycos sighed.

“Can I do both?”

Ronin laughed lifting Lycos into his arms carrying her into her room.

“Of course, so will you marry me?”

Lycos shrugged.

“Sure, as long as you keep singing and you never let anyone bite me again. If Jimmy even bites me I will make your life hell Ronin even if we are bonded!”

Ronin smirked as he felt her finger poking his chest.

“So can I have you tonight?”

Lycos jumped out of Ronin’s arms.

“Of course not! We ain’t married! Do you see a ring on this finger pal?”

Ronin looked at her finger as she then slammed the door in his face.

“When you can figure out how to get down on one knee with a ring maybe then I might kiss you again, but you are going to sleep in your own room until we are married!”

Lycos yelled through the door. Ronin smiled and ran a hand behind his head rubbing his neck. He would do this, but a cold shower was definitely in order as he chuckled to himself. In some ways he won the war, but would he ever truly win the battle? Probably not, because Lycos was adamant and would never bend until he did what she asked. Even then would Lycos bend? Ronin now was really not sure what he got himself into, but either way the love of his life agreed to marry him. Life was great. Ronin now would have to find a good wedding song for them since he would be singing as long as Lycos wanted him to as long as it made Lycos happy since Lycos’ happiness was more important to Ronin than his pride that was for certain going to be dragged across the door mat a few times. That was just Lycos way of saying she loved him.

Jimmy went with Ronin to find a good ring although he didn’t understand why since they were already bond mated. Lycos was an asshole, so he should just be happy they let him stay a virgin. Ronin wouldn’t talk about it, but Jimmy knew something was up.

“Look Ronin, if Lycos wants a ring that is one thing, but you are going overboard for a jerk who wants to be a damn celibate monk unlike Uncle Miroku. I will take Lycos virginity soon enough so what is the big deal? I mean we are all mated. Lycos can’t keep it forever since this is his season.”

Ronin stopped and looked at Jimmy. There was no way Jimmy would take Lycos. He would die first.

‘No, I made a promise and I intend to keep it even if you are Alpha.’

Jimmy caught that and turned abruptly.

“What are you hiding?”

Ronin sighed.

“That is Lycos decision to tell you and you will not force it Jimmy. I will keep my end of the bargain with Lycos and I will be mated to that pain in the ass. Fully mated so since you took Tsukiya, Raiden, Luna, and my virginity the least you could do is let Lycos be mine.”

Jimmy frowned and growled.

“Why the hell would I do that cat? I am King not you. Raiden knows his place, how come you do not? You always defy me Ronin. Although we are mated, you always defy me. You cannot do so forever. I am eldest other than Shippo who will rule over you too. What will you do when our cycle is complete and Sesshoumaru gives up his position to me? Are you going to take Lycos and run away? I will find you and you will suffer so why not make things easier by just accepting the way things are.”

Ronin frowned and bowed his head.

“Jimmy, Lycos is not like the others and we do not fit in. You are a canine and I am mainly cat demon. Lycos is nothing like any of us born to the Inu Tashio clan. You are also not so how can you force the issue yourself? You claim you want us to all know freedom, yet like Sesshoumaru you stifle us. I am not asking much.”

Jimmy shook his head no.

“Look Ronin, I respect how you feel. As King though I would lose all respect after initiating you allowing you to take Lycos. This is something I can be a part of or you will both have to stop seeing one another. I am a King and even I do not like how anal this sounds. I do not even like the old rules, but until things change you cannot do this alone. I couldn’t even give that to Raiden who is your senior and rules you too. You are the third born son of an empire. Lycos is fourth………..”

Ronin couldn’t take it anymore and blurted out the secret he was keeping. There was no point in it when he was going to marry Lycos anyway.

“Lycos is not a man! She is a woman and will be my wife! No one will question you! It will be as though it were no big deal! You have Tsukiya and you let Raiden take at least part of Luna’s virginity. The least you could do would be to allow me that same privilege! We are family and if you are ruler you can change the rules otherwise what is the damn point!”

Jimmy watched Ronin stomp away angrily as he followed him trying to catch up than laughed patting Ronin on the back.

“That was funny as hell Ronin. I know Lycos acts like a woman……….”

Ronin grasped Jimmy by the collar with his eyes turning blood red in the middle of the mall. It was a good thing that Jimmy erected a barrier at the last minute over the two of them.

“Lycos is a woman. My Lycos is a very beautiful, very quiet, and very intelligent woman who is my Angel. Mine Jimmy! Not yours, mine!”

The lion and wolf circled each other. Ronin glowed in golden splendor looking even more angelic himself than before. Jimmy smirked and looked at his brother. Ronin was getting powerful. It was very attractive and Jimmy pulled Ronin to him knowing Ronin couldn’t beat him even if he tried.

“Ronin, stop it before I ravish you right here. I will give you leave, but only with proof. Lycos has to show me something and you will spend your wedding night in my private chambers. This is a privilege so quit growling little lion. I will be kind to you since you have not annoyed me lately other than this nonsense. I still think you are daft when it comes to Lycos who I believe has no personality and is just a beautiful identical statue of our beloved Sesshoumaru. She indeed if she is indeed a woman would be absolutely mouthwatering. Can you truly blame your King for wanting to know the truth?”

Ronin stopped growling and hugged Jimmy. He had a point. As ruler of the canines he could not be seen as weak or as lenient with any of them. It would be seen as a sign of weakness and his prowess was well known even to the point of his passionate nights with the Alpha himself whom Jimmy had wrapped around his little finger. Sesshoumaru would gather the moon and stars for Jimmy on a whim.

“Will you promise me that I can have her virginity? Than if she is ready you will not push her right?”

Jimmy sighed and smiled as he leaned against Ronin holding his lover. Ronin was indeed a prize even if he was a pain in Jimmy’s ass. The cat was very beautiful and one of a kind. Born of a golden lioness, Ronin had such golden eyes like the sun itself, hair that flowed like gentle golden wheat in abundance, wings like a pure Angel of heaven, and golden hued skin that Jimmy could explore for days never getting enough. He made Michael look plain in comparison and the old Sophisticate was an ancient beauty like no other.

Still Lycos, being so like Sesshoumaru who unfortunately became Jimmy’s true love, was also a rare treasure making Jimmy a bit more possessive than usual especially with Lycos’ season coming up. He was offering something very special to Ronin he really should not. Still, resisting the cat for long was difficult even for a Black Wolf. Ronin was an Alpha of a different kind and to stifle that would ruin him. Jimmy liked the conflict and wanted the cat to act as free as possible ruling the cats a bit since there were few of them. It was the same with Shippo’s foxes; he had to also rule them as Kouga ruled the timber steel wolves. Sesshoumaru ruled them all, but each noble had a group they were in control of with Megan ruling all the cats as all lion Queens had done in demon society for centuries.

“I promise what I can Ronin my dear pet. I want you to be mine too with our family. We are already split up enough. I have two females, two males bonded to me, but you are not to be just bonded. I can fully mate as many as I wish just as the scrolls state. You belong to me just as much as Lycos does. I am selfish, what can I say? You are rare and I treasure such things even if everyone thinks I am just a rebel without a cause.”

Jimmy smirked again as Ronin sighed rubbing his face against Jimmy’s palm as he always did when showing his affection for the Alpha. He couldn’t ever resist Jimmy either since Jimmy was so damn beautiful with piercing green eyes that were nothing like his Indian Father who had eyes the color of smoldering golden fire that turned deep black when in rage just as Jimmy’s did.

It felt good for a change to be complimented and Ronin was so pleased that he would get what he wanted that he actually purred in Jimmy’s arms something that a lion could not do, but a demon cat could. Jimmy smiled petting that long hair as he held his beloved big kitty cat.

“I love you too Jimmy and thank you.”

Ronin stated softly as they left the barrier to go get the ring at the local jewelers. It wasn’t a long thing since Ronin already knew what he wanted. It was something simple, but beautiful since Lycos wouldn’t want something fancy.

“That’s the one. I want the one with the blue aquamarine moon in the center that is plain silver platinum. Can you have this engraved?”

Ronin asked the man behind the counter who looked at him smiling with flirting eyes. Apparantly the guy thought Ronin was a woman with her boyfriend as Jimmy tried to hold back his laughter.

“Sure darling, will be glad to do so. What would you like?”

Jimmy looked at Ronin trying hard to be serious as he eyed the ring.

“Make it say to the most boring person in the universe. Can you fit all of that on there?”

Ronin smacked Jimmy on his arm trying not to bust up laughing. Jimmy was such an asshole.

“I want it to say to my deepest love. It has her eyes and the color of her hair. Maybe I should have gotten it in gold so that Lycos won’t think I am being a sap plus so that whenever she looks at her finger she will see me instead of herself.”

Jimmy laughed patting Ronin on the back.

“No my pet, that wouldn’t work since you are so full of yourself that she won’t need you to remind her since you are always annoying everyone to death. How could anyone forget you?”

Ronin frowned at the man behind the counter who wiggled his eyebrows.

“So you say you swing other ways sweetheart? I can give you my number……….”

That was all he got out before Jimmy lifted the jerk by his collar and broke his neck. Jimmy had enough of the human flirting with his mate so he threw the sales guy through the window outside as they left throwing the money on the floor of the destroyed jewel store to pay for the ring. They were not thieves, but murder was not below demons as the glass made mince meat of whatever was left of the man who was trying to flirt with his Ronin.

The Police were called, but no one could report anything since the tapes were melted and Jimmy burped on the way out of the door since he ate all the witnesses with Ronin in suit. You don’t mess with demons even at the mall.

“You know we didn’t have to kill all those innocent bystanders too Jimmy. Although I know I won’t be hungry for a damn month. Sesshoumaru is going to beat the hell out of us for this not to mention the elders. This will be on the news you know.”

Jimmy shrugged as he smiled picking his teeth with a few spare bones he chiseled down.

“SO fucking what Ronin? They will get over it and I will wear them all out. So far only the rabbit can keep up and wear me out. Touga can’t do that forever even if we did title him that and you watched Balachandra spank me so like that is going to work.”

Ronin shook his head.

“I don’t know Jimmy; you may be pushing it a bit. You haven’t dealt with your Grandfather yet. The Chief can be rather vicious.”

Jimmy smiled and looked even more wolfish then before.

“I would like to see that. I really would Ronin.”

Ronin rolled his eyes putting his hands in his blue jeans.

“I am sure you would, I just don’t want to see the aftermath. One of these days Jimmy you will get knocked off your pedestal and I will be there to see it. You know that there is always something more powerful then you out there and you may have reached your limit.”

Jimmy smiled widely.

“Well, when that happens to me Ronin, you will be the first to know and the last. I promise you that. We are going to be together for a long damn time so who knows what the future holds.”

Ronin smirked widely at that comment since indeed Jimmy could not take on his own Father in battle, but maybe in bed. Ronin doubted his Grandfather would be a problem, but there was always that one time in life that even powerful beautiful Jimmy could be wrong.
