History and Responses (no Chap.)

AUTHOR’S NOTE

*First* I am going to give a little history so that I do not have to explain latter. Within the Shinto beliefs there a three specific Kami that I will be referring to:

Amtsu-Mikaboshi: the kami of all evil and stars that existed before Ama-No-Uzume
Ama-No-Uzume: Commonly called Uzume, she is the goddess of dawn and revelry, instrumental to the "missing sun legend" in Shinto. She is also known as The Great Persuader and The Heavenly Alarming Female.
Amaterasu-o-mi-kami: Commonly called Amaterasu, she is the goddess of the sun as well as the purported ancestress of the Imperial Household of Japan. Her full name means "Great Goddess" or "Great Spirit Who Shines in the Heavens"; she may also be referred to as Ōhiru-menomuchi-no-kami (大日孁貴神). Due to her ties to the Imperial family, she is often considered (though not official) to be the "primary god" of Shinto.

That should be more than enough for you understand the references within the next chapter. I would also like to say this now; I do not have a true understand of the Shinto religion. I have read up on it for research for this story, but that is all the acquaintance I have with the religion. If this story offends any of those beliefs, I am sorry.

*Second* This is a dark story; I have killed many characters to create cracks within the main female characters. Many of my readers seem not to necessarily enjoy this fact; well I have nothing to say to that.

However, since I do not plan to kill either Sesshoumaru’s or Kagome’s character they have to push towards some sort of resolution. If that does not give you hope for this story, then you should probably stop reading.

One more major hint, I have developed a correlation between this story and the “Wizard of Oz”, the goal in goal was for Dorothy to find a way home.

*Third* Response to reviewers
Yokailady- I get the impression you do not like my story, ok. I have to say that you did have a valid point however; next time I will not spend, twenty minutes trying decipher it.

Kotainuchan- thanks and I am writing

Kya77- Thanks for reading. I am glad you find humor in my dark abyss

Sleepy-tune-fish: What can I say ee cummings is an idol of mine. Wait that is not true, he is intelligent response for my poor punctuation. In addition, I have no ability to spell phonically. What this means for my spell check and I, is that there have been times that literally I start randomly inserting letters into the word, trying to get the spell to prompt the correct word. After those sessions, I feel stupid and begin threatening the program with a magnet. However, hey, my beta came back to me. I hope that it will be better. Please keep enjoying the story.

Thehotty: Thank you, I hope I continue to keep you enthralled with the story.

Walter205: Thank you for reading and I hope you stay interested.

BlackIceAngelKitten9: I am glad you find it interesting and I hope you still do.

DarkTigress: I would like to maintain that unique quality you are enjoying. If you feel I am loosing it, then bitch slap me in a review.

Lissa: Oz is so playable, “Dark side of the Moon”, “Inuyasha”. I hope this story never disappoint you. By the way, I love flying monkeys and space chickens.

Higan: I understand what you mean. I will let you know I have several chaps written ahead, I will put them out when get them edited. Please keep reading.

SugarOoO: You have no idea how much your review saved my frail ego. If I start to become disappointing then by all means tell me.

Rinseternalsoul: Wow. I about cheesed my pants to know that you read my story. As for Sango, she will be explained a little better later in the story. I have to tell you I am not necessarily a romance writer, but I looked forward to popping my cherry on actual full-blown lemon in this story (and no, the phrase, “I about cheesed my pants” will not appear in it).
