Together and finally whole

Kagome finally woke up and looked out the window. It was dark out, she had slept through another day. She heard the T.V. downstairs. She was awfully hungry too. She started to walk downstairs and got halfway down and a stair creaked. Inuyasha heard and got up walking over to the base of the stairs and looked up concerned.

“You should be resting your ears haven’t fully grown in. I still can’t see them.”

“I’m fine, I got this far without help didn’t I?!”

He hanyou temper was starting too….

“Fine. But your staying on the couch.”

“Fine but can you make the soup though? I’m starving!”

“Sure.”

She passed on her mother’s instructions to Inuyasha and he started cooking again. He was slightly getting used to providing for her and he was liking having her depend on him. He finished and brought out the entire pot not even bothering to put it in bowls. He gave her a spoon and she laughed at first seeing him bringing the entire pot then as they started eating and five minutes later the pot was half gone. She then understood why he had just grabbed the whole pot, he didn’t want to keep getting up until she was full. It took 10 more minutes and the entire pot was gone. Inuyasha leaned back and sighed.

“I love your mother…..”

“I’m sure your tummy agrees.”

They both laughed then Inuyasha stopped and was just looking at her smiling.

“What?”

“Your fangs are in completely…”

“Do they look ok?” She said moving her tongue around to feel her new canine teeth. They were a little sharp.

He came over to her and kissed her gently.

“They look beautiful. But you should be getting back to bed. How about we go in your room and lay down and watch TV until we pass out.”

“Sounds good. How late is it?”

“The clock in the kitchen said 9:20 when I came out. So about 10.… I think…”

“I slept all day again.”

“Yes but you need it. How about we wake up tomorrow and clean the house before your mom gets home?”

“Good idea. I’ll wash our cloths and sheets.”

“Alright.”

He scooped her up in his arms making her squeak at the suddenness of his movement. He carried her up the stairs and set her gently on her bed then walked over to the TV grabbed the remote and laid down next to her cuddling in as closely as he could. She grabbed the remote and changed channels. As soon as she found a channel that appealed to her she stopped, set the remote down and cuddled back into Inuyasha. They soon started to get bored and both fell asleep.

Inuyasha woke up and nudged Kagome with his head. She groaned and rolled over looking into those deep amber eyes.

“Good morning dear.”

“Mornin’ my mate”

“Suppose we should get up and start cleaning.”

“How about some breakfast first?”

“I’ll make some omelets for us.”

Inuyasha at first didn’t like her being up then he looked and noticed her transformation had completed itself in her sleep. He ears were fully grown now and she was more then strong enough to cook.

“Your ears are in….”

“REALLY!?”

She quickly ran her hands to her head and rubbed her ears from base to tip and then giggled. It made him smile she was so proud of being a hanyou. Maybe she could teach him, no he didn’t need it now. She had been teaching him since they met. Then he realized…

Wait, she’s not in pain any more and she has ears like mine. I wonder if her ears are a turn on like mine too….

He reached up and started rubbing her ears almost as soon as he touched them a moan escaped her lips. They were a very large turn on. “What does mine say I can’t see it on my shoulder.”

“I love you too…. Can I eat now?”

“Always gotta ruin the moment. But I’m hungry too so yeah. The cloths my mom got your are in my closet.”

She got up still naked and reached up for the cloths, Inuyasha watched he get them and then glared as she handed them to him because he didn’t like her future cloths.

“I told you I was washing our cloths.. Wear these for today.”

“Feh, fine whatever. Just this once though.”

She laughed and put on some cloths too. A blue sundress that had thin straps showing off her shoulders and new mark. His cloths were just a simple pair of blue jeans and a black mesh tank top that hugged his skin. Kagome had picked for him to wear because it showed off his muscular chest and arms. She enjoyed it. She gathered their cloths out them in a hamper with a lot more of just her cloths and brought them down with her. She began cooking and Inuyasha loaded up the washer although he couldn’t start it. Soon Kagome called him to the kitchen and had set his plate on the table. They both quickly devoured their food.

“Now we have to clean…”

“I’ll do the bathroom if you do the kitchen and work that thing that spits and blows on your cloths…”

“Washer and dryer, and you have yourself a deal! The cleaning things are under the sink. Just match the pictures to everything in there to find out what they clean.”

“K”

He went upstairs and started cleaning. Every 5 or 10 minutes he would yell saying that the stuff stunk. She just laughed and put on a bandana to hold all her hair back. All the laundry was done and the entire house. They came together and sat down on the couch cuddling into each other. Then the door opened and there was a yell.

“Kagome, Inuyasha, we’re home!”

Kagome jumped up and ran to her mother giving her a hug. Inuyasha casually walked over towards the door standing there but her mother came to him and hugged him. He smiled, he liked how she always made him feel like part of the family although now he was she just didn’t know it yet. Souta came through the door next giving Kagome a quick hug then running to say hi to Inuyasha and show him he latest scratch on his knee. Grandpa had the typical entrance, throwing “wards” at Inuyasha saying they’ll work this time and Inuyasha just pealing them off and tearing them apart. After everyone had calmed down and went to their room to put away things Kagome’s mother come back downstairs and began cooking dinner. Inuyasha and Kagome went in there while she was cooking, it was the only time everyone left her alone so they could show her, her surprise.

“Momma?”

“Yes?”

“Do you want to see your surprise now?”

“Oh yes! I had almost forgotten.”

Inuyasha came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her middle. Kagome then took off her bandana and reveled to her mother her puppy ear that matched Inuyasha’s. She gasped and covered her mouth.

“We mated ma’am….Kagome is mine and I’m hers ”

“Momma, it’s kinda like we’re married. But in doing so, I became like him. I’m a hanyou now.”

Her mother came over to them and hugged them both tightly.

“I’m so happy for both of you! Souta will be estatic that he has a brother now. And I’ll make sure grandpa doesn’t try to purify you both. Inuyasha deals with it but Kagome I think would chase him down the hall and REALLY purify him!”

“And one more thing….”

Kagome and her mother looked towards Inuyasha confused.

“Kagome’s pregnant”

“WHAT?!”

They both screamed making everybody run to the kitchen.

“Inuyasha how do you know?”

“I can smell it when I get really close…. It will get stronger in a few months. But I can tell now… she‘s pregnant”

“My granddaughter… you are like him…. Your ears….”

“Don’t even try it Graps…”

“I’m going to be a great grandpa?”

“Yes….”

Graps ran and hugged them both. Soon after everyone had come over hand were in a huge group hug.

This is how it will be from now on Inuyasha… you, the half demon, have a family……
