Is Naraku’s Last Curse a Blessing?

(Recap on the Journal ------ In the journal there were sketches of when Kagome was little all the way till she was pulled into the well by a centipede demon. There were drawings of when Inu met Kikyo till Kagome released him. It was the same for all pictures from when they were younger up till just before each met Kagome. There were pictures of them fighting Nuraku and his incarnations and many other demons. Sango started to cry when she saw the pic of Kohaku hurting Kagome when they thought he was free from Nuraku. Miroku cringed when he saw a pic of Kagome taking a strong blow for him. Inu when he saw the pic of when Kaguya reflected Kagome‘s arrow to him and it hit Kagome instead. They all saw a pic like that and it made each of the sad, because they remembered that Kagome smiled at them and was happy that they were ok. As they got near the end of the book Inu closed it. “Inuyasha?” Sango along with everyone else was curios as to why he closed the journal. “There is one picture left but until Kagome see’s it I wont let anyone else.” Inu stated. The nodded their heads in understanding.)

Inu looked at his mate, he could tell she was still sad but knew she was to stubborn to let it ruin their surprise for their friends. “If you think they can handle it.” he said with a smirk. Kagome smiled at everyone. She picked up Talon and handed him to Inu and she held Aria. “Inuyasha and I want to ask each of you something.” she said calmly. “Even me and Rin?” said Shippo. “Yes even you and Rin.” said Inu only half listening. They looked to Inu to see that he was far more interested in his children then their conversion.

“Inu pay attention.” Kagome stated before continuing. “ Sesshomaru, Sango, and Miroku we want you three to be god-parents for Talon and Aria.” they all had a shocked look, even Sesshomaru. “Why would you want this of me?” Sesshomaru ask trying to keeped a monotone voice. “Isn’t that obvious? You’re their uncle like it or not and since we aren’t fighting no more we want them to know you. So you want the job or not?!” Inu stated in his normal attitude. “Have it your way.” Sesshomaru said turning his head away to hide his smile.

“What about Rin and me?” ask Rin happily. “Well we want Rin to be their aunt.” “YYYYYAAAAAYYYY! I get to be an aunt!” Rin giggled hugging Kagome and Inu in turn. “and we want to adopt you Shippo so you’d be their bother.” Kagome smiled. “Adopt? Really?” Shippo ask hoping they ment it. “Yes really. You think she make that up.” Inu said trying hard not to smile. He failed miserably. “THANK YOU!” Shippo smiled, happily hugging them.

“Oh that reminds me, is Itsumi having fun visiting Kohaku?” Kagome ask. “Yes, but she’ll be disappointed that she missed the birth.” Sango answered. “Well maybe being a cousin will make up for it. I mean they already called Kagome and me, Aunt and Uncle.” Inu said with a sly smirk. “It just might.” Smiled Miroku a little sadly. Every laughed a little. “Isn’t Sango supposed to be the worrying one?” Kagome asked.

For days after everyone keeped trying to keep Kagome happy while trying to forget what they saw in her dad’s journal, and failing horribly. They still wondered how Kagome could always smile when she was in such pain because of their moment of weakness. (A/N a couple of people got confused at this part so, basically they want to know why she was happy when she had just been hurt cause of them.) After Sesshomaru talked to Inu and Kagome they moved into the western lords castle, and a month after Sango and Miroku decided to move to hut just outside of it to help Kagome and Inu (really they just missed their friends). Kagome visited Keade often but after a nasty storm that destroyed the village Keade and the villagers move to live out side the western castle in Inuyasha’s forest where the storms were not as bad.

Months past as did the years and still the Inu gang went on travels but this time the took their kids. Sango and Miroku’s little Itsumi, Kagome and Inu twin terrors Aria and Talon, Shippo of course was already used to that life. Slowly Japan change, the demons and Humans started to make peace with one other, but no village, town, or city was as peaceful as the western castle town of the Inu-Youkai lord.

After 10 years Kagome was Know as the Greatest Miko to live thus far. Her powers were about double that of the miko Midoriko. Inu was know as a great warrior with immense strength and courage. Shippo & Talon were know as his son’s and apprentices. Aria was know for her power in combining youki and spiritual energies, she was quickly fallowing her mother; even though Talon had her persona and she her fathers (though not to their parents extremes). Sango and Miroku started a slayers dojo (they fought humans and demons alike), but they learned a mixture of slaying and spiritual techniques. Sesshomaru married the now 19yr old Rin, they ruled the western land together helping their lands to grow into the most peaceful and prosperous land. Of course they did it with the help of the Inu gang.

One day Inu and Kagome went out to a remote village to stop some demons from kidnapping young girls. But when they got there they easily won the battle. ‘Something about this place seems to weird we should leave.’ “Please Miko-sama stay for the night?” the village headman asked. “Well we really need to get home are kids will be wondering where we are.” Kagome said sadly. Inu noted her sad voice. “We’ll stay just for to night its late and I don’t feel like headed out right now.” Inu stated with a smirk at Kagome who smiled back. “Well alright. Thank you headman.” Kagome bowed. The headman bowed to them as he left their room after making sure they were pleased with the room. Kagome laid in Inu’s arms resting falling asleep so after. “You work to hard. I really wish you could just rest and not have to worry so much” Inu said as he drifted off to sleep. Little did he know Kagome had wished the same thing for him.

The next day-----------”We’re home!” Kagome yelled as she and Inu entered the Palace. To both of their surprise no one come to greet them. “Where is everyone?” Inu stated with a frown. “I think I’ll look upstairs why don’t you look down here.” she said running off. Inu shrugged the sniffed the air for his friends and kids. ‘Damn there are to many smells. *sniff sniff* wait a minute why wont they spray shit to mask their smells what are they up to.’ Inu stood at the foot of the stairs till Kagome came down. “It looks like they got a surprise for us in the garden.” Kagome said as she looked at Inu. “Oh really?” He asked with a smirk. They walked together out into the courtyard heading to the garden. “Surprise!!!” everyone yelled, even Sesshomaru, as Kirara moved a sheet and the Kagome gasped and Inu stood shock at the…..
