Sesshoumaru’s demon hunted one last time before Sesshoumaru came to and could smell his seed on his brother. He was also shocked that Inuyasha’s little human body was stomaching so much raw meat as he watched his mate devour what looked like his third rabbit.

“Inuyasha……I did it again didn’t I?”

Inuyasha shrugged and looked at Sesshoumaru.

“It is alright. I don’t think you raped me anymore. I still think you are an asshole though no matter what form you are in.”

Sesshoumaru was curious. He wanted to know what it felt like for himself without the demon interfering.

“You’re human. I should be more careful, you are fragile.”

Inuyasha was going to say duh when he felt himself lifted onto Sesshoumaru’s lap.

“I should have these cooked for you.”

Inuyasha just let the blood drip on him enjoying the raw meat.

“I have never eaten raw meat before…it’s good.”

Inuyasha stated between bites.

“Your body is going to crave many things Inuyasha and some may not be good for you. Can I ask you something?”

Sesshoumaru stated softly.

“Sure……”

Inuyasha was just happy because he had food. If Sesshoumaru was going to win him over this was the way to go.

Sesshoumaru licked off some blood from Inuyasha’s chin then kissed him deeply.

“Can I rut you again as me and not as my demon?”

Inuyasha rolled his eyes.

“You are you and I thought I was done bending over.”

Sesshoumaru tried to find the best way to explain that he didn’t feel the same things when he was in demon form, but how would Inuyasha understand this? Inuyasha just sighed and bent over.

“Ok, do your thing.”

Sesshoumaru wasn’t turned on by this. The flat submission with no emotional connection wasn’t working for him. He should have been thrilled, but fact was he wanted to do more than just rut his mate. He wanted his mate to love him and he wanted Inuyasha to feel good.

“That isn’t exactly how I wanted to do this….”

Sesshoumaru stated and then wrapped his arms around his mate pulling him up.

“I want to show you more than one way to rut, but perhaps after you have eaten. I wasn’t trying to rush you through your meal.”

Inuyasha shrugged sitting back on the floor eating one rabbit to the bones and then finishing the other with a burp.

“I don’t know what the big deal is Sess, if you want to fuck me then so be it. I can’t exactly stop you and this time it felt good. I think I like it, but you know you could like do something before you just slam it home. Can you try to talk to your demon about that one?”

Sesshoumaru sighed.

“That is my point Inuyasha. My demon is a dog completely just as I am, but it thinks like a canine. I on the other hand know much more and can help you enjoy things. Did you like what I did earlier?”

Inuyasha nodded his head.

“That felt really good.”

Sesshoumaru smirked.

“Then why did you act like I was killing you?”

Inuyasha swallowed his meat down and shrugged.

“In my hanyou form I feel different. As a human since I don’t feel emotions so strongly they all come now. I don’t hate you either. I think I might love you. I don’t know yet. I mean it is all still weird considering you are my brother.”

Sesshoumaru frowned. So this was Inuyasha’s true feelings and his other half was stubborn not wanting to admit to the feelings seeing them as weakness. It made perfect sense. Sesshoumaru however decided he liked the human half of Inuyasha better than his hanyou side. He was even more beautiful in the moonlight and perhaps in this form he would appreciate things more.

“You are beautiful Inuyasha. In this form you look just like your Mother. I think now I understand why Father loved humans so much.”

Sesshoumaru ran his claws over Inuyasha’s ebony locks. They were silky and soft. His chocolate colored eyes were so lovely to look upon. It almost made Inuyasha seem like he was not his brother, but indeed his mate.

“You crack me up. You are beautiful Sesshoumaru and it is annoying. I can’t even compare to you and I have tried for years to meet your standards. I know as a human and hanyou I can’t, but now I feel like I don’t have to. You chose me as your mate and I know that is a big deal since that means you accept me. Just don’t expect me to be nice in my hanyou form. It isn’t in me.”

Sesshoumaru carried Inuyasha over to the hot springs. He wanted to bathe his lover first before they continued on.

“I want to do something romantic Inuyasha. I know you might think this kind of romance is stupid, but maybe in your human form you will appreciate the servant’s intentions.”

Using a small bottle of rose oil Sesshoumaru washed Inuyasha’s hair. Inuyasha just lay back in Sesshoumaru’s arms allowing this since it felt nice to have those claws massage his scalp. He felt totally relaxed.

“Do you still want to kill me?”

Sesshoumaru frowned.

“I did and in some ways I do. You are a weakness I covet and therefore it is difficult for me to accept that situation. I did not want to have anything to protect, but now I do.”

Inuyasha understood feeling a bit sad as a tear poured down his cheek. This is why he hated this Sesshoumaru over his demon. His demon loved him, but this Sesshoumaru was always so brutally honest it hurt.

“Do not cry Inuyasha, part of me is very glad you are alive. You are the only one who has made this Sesshoumaru happy other than Rin……”

Sesshoumaru felt his voice crack at the thought of Rin. It was still an open wound that refused to close and the fact tensaiga could only save a life once seemed so unfair.

“Sesshoumaru you really loved that girl didn’t you?”

Inuyasha stated softly.

“Yes.”

Inuyasha turned around and hugged Sesshoumaru.

“It is ok to admit it to me. I will never tell anyone you care about people since I know you must seem always strong to the rest of the world. It is your duty. I always understood that, but I always found I was stronger when I had someone to protect. Now I have no one unless what you say is true and I have your secrets to protect too so see now we can start being mates.”

Sesshoumaru was shocked by the hug, but finally leaned into it and held Inuyasha tightly.

“I love you little brother. I think I always had.”

Inuyasha smiled and kissed Sesshoumaru’s lips.

“So you gonna show me how to make it feel better or not?”

Sesshoumaru smiled softly and nodded yes. Indeed he liked this Inuyasha much better than his hanyou form.
