Too Much Time On Their Hands

Watching Inuyasha awaken was interesting. The pup had no idea what Sesshoumaru had done to him and of course the room was now spotless. The hotel would not ever know they even had checked in. It was as though they had just started over in life. Inuyasha would not remember Kagome, Kouga, Ayame, or the past any longer. He was new to life and a full demon.

“Finally awake little brother? Did you sleep well?”

Sesshoumaru asked with a wicked smirk. Inuyasha had no clue of what just happened to him, but he felt tired like he had been hit over the head with something. If he knew what was going on at that moment he would have had a fit about many changes that had occurred to his body. Inuyasha had no clue of what happened at first when he woke up other then he was mated to Sesshoumaru and they were living together in this apartment.

Inuyasha felt an ache in his neck and got up to go look in the mirror. The long silver hair that was once flowing about him was now jet black with silver streaks. His eyes were still gold like his brother’s, but there was something weird going on. Inuyasha felt for his ears on his head and waited for the silver hair to start showing. It never did. The ears on the side of his head were that of a demon, his markings matched his brother’s, and as he felt a roundness to his abdomen that had not been there. Inuyasha felt a kicking in his belly. This was not normal. Inuyasha touched his stomach and looked at Sesshoumaru in horror as he passed out on the floor. Sesshoumaru caught him this time. Obviously Inuyasha remembered something and that was not good. Once Inuyasha was done though, he would no longer need the pup so it was just a matter of keeping his mouth shut until he had the family he desired.

“It will not do for you passing out on me Inuyasha now that you will be the Mother to my pups.”

Sesshoumaru sighed, putting down his drink. This was such a bother. His mate was not going to like him one bit when he was done with this. It was a good thing Inuyasha could not be heard outside of their apartment. There was going to be a lot of screaming and crying tonight.

Carrying his mate to the bedroom Sesshoumaru felt the baby deep within Inuyasha’s womb. It was strong and the child would be a pure blood Inu. Sesshoumaru pulled the jewel out of his pocket. It had not disappeared, but it did become dark. Naraku had been right. It was beautiful corrupted, but still there was nothing more he required of it. He was done with the blasted thing and his wish had come true. Crushing it with his fist it became powder and floated away. It would not cause any more trouble.

Sesshoumaru looked down at Inuyasha. If Inuyasha behaved then perhaps the death of his mate would not be necessary and Sesshoumaru may even fully mate with the beautiful creature that somewhere in his cold heart he loved. Kissing those full lips Sesshoumaru got up with his drink leaving the room turning out the light and closing the door.

Inuyasha woke up and stretched. It was all just a bad dream. It had to be. Sesshoumaru would not have killed him or his friends. He promised he would not hurt him. Sesshoumaru promised and told him that he loved him. How could he do something like that if he loved him? Inuyasha felt his pregnant belly and then realized it was not. He was living his nightmare. It was real and now it was just a matter of not killing Sesshoumaru for this.

Leaving the bedroom Inuyasha was growling and furious with Sesshoumaru. Opening the door Sesshoumaru was just lounging on the couch watching one of his boring new channels. There was no expression on his face and he was slightly drunk. Inuyasha could tell and he could smell it. Sesshoumaru was in a foul mood and Inuyasha was also. Tonight there was going to be blood on the walls and it was not just going to be Inuyasha’s.

“So what game are we playing today Sesshoumaru? Let’s see how big a fucking asshole we can be or is it I am not happy with my life so I have to make yours hell?”

Inuyasha snarled at Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru threw the drink across the room and went to attack Inuyasha in fury. Problem was Inuyasha was no longer a hanyou. He was a full demon with power that was pregnant and pissed off.

The worst part of this for Sesshoumaru was that the little hanyou was the fact he was sober and knew how to fight back. Sesshoumaru was stopped and suddenly flying across the room slamming into the wall. Shaking his head he looked at Inuyasha who was fuming. Inuyasha advanced on Sesshoumaru, but Sesshoumaru was quick and moved as Inuyasha slammed his fist through the wall. With his eyes blazing red Inuyasha was beyond reasoning with.

“You lied to me! You told me you loved me, you told me I would have Kagome, and then you did this to me! Do you do this shit to everyone you love Sesshoumaru? I was going to give up everything for you! Every damn thing I ever wanted for you! You are not worth this pain anymore! Go to hell and go by yourself you murdering bastard! It is over between us!”

Inuyasha roared as he punched Sesshoumaru square in the jaw then turned to leave. Sesshoumaru got up wiping off the blood from his lip smiling evilly.

“I see so you will raise our child on your own. Won’t it be fun for you to go into labor as a man on your own? The press will have fun with that one. Pregnant man and I wonder what experiments they would do on you. I will destroy your life if you leave me. I will follow you and find you no matter where you hide. I will take everything you love from you.”

Sesshoumaru stated straitening himself out as he glared at his mate. Inuyasha’s shoulders slumped in defeat. His heart hurt and the tears demons do not usually cry fell down his cheeks. His heart was broken and now they had this child in his body to consider. Was this the kind of life he wanted for their child? A life of murder, lies, and pain? It would be removed and Inuyasha would tear it out with his own claws if he had to. He would rather die then be this freak that Sesshoumaru turned him into. It was bad enough being a freak as a half demon in Inuyasha’s mind.

“You already have taken it all and I don’t know why. Truth is I don’t care anymore and if you kill me you will live all alone. You will die all alone. I don’t care if you do anymore. In fact I hope you do. I am leaving and I am not ever coming back.”

Inuyasha whispered throwing the beautiful ring that had meant so much back to Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru caught it andl looked at it as though his own heart was just ripped out. No one had ever returned his gifts.

Sesshoumaru watched Inuyasha as he walked towards the door. Rushing in front of the door Inuyasha was blocked in.

“You won’t leave me. I will kill you first.”

Inuyasha looked at Sesshoumaru as though every emotion that was ever between them died. There was nothing in those eyes.

“You want me as your prisoner? Is this really what you want Sesshoumaru? Does it make you feel strong and powerful to use people like this?”

Sesshoumaru turned his face away. Inuyasha did not understand.

“I am trying to preserve our race.”

Inuyasha snorted not believing that was the only reason for this and turned away from Sesshoumaru.

“So you preserve ours and you destroy the wolf demons. You destroy my hanyou form turning me into this? I may not have been able to bear your child as a hanyou male, but I still would have been a part of our race. I am still an Inu demon and I thought you accepted me for who I was.’
“I can’t stand to even look at you and you call me filthy. You called me a dirty hanyou and I would rather be that then something like you. You disgust me Sesshoumaru and I cannot believe I ever fell for your tricks. I can’t believe I thought I actually loved you a cold demon not capable of feeling any love for anyone.’
“You treated me less then dirt then show me love only to rip my world apart? If you hated me this much why did you not just kill me at my birth? Why are you playing with my heart?”

Sesshoumaru grasped Inuyasha by the throat forgetting himself completely. His eyes bled red and tears formed.

“You do not understand and never will Inuyasha! You have no idea the humiliation I have had to suffer and the damn sacrifices I had to make for your behalf! You all had a longer life because of me with things like your precious education being taught by humans.’
“You all forgot your demon heritage and what kind of fucking life would you have had for our friends? Did you want Ayame to have a filthy human’s child? The fucker left her to have this hanyou on her own. She called me and I went to her. I dispatched her and the child. I killed them, but it was what she fucking wanted.’
“I am the assassin because it is what I am good at. I am a killer Inuyasha and I have not killed in years. It felt damn good to hunt and to kill again. Call me a fucking bastard for it, but if I could take my life I would. I can’t and I have tried you asshole! You only see what you will through your little rose colored glasses thinking the world is so nice and wonderful.’
“I killed Kagome and her family. I went and did that without mercy for the fucking jewel. Kagome tried to purify me and I lost control of my demon. That has not ever happened before and if you think I feel great about it you can kiss my ass on that too. My demon has been dormant for way too long Inuyasha. That side of me I have not used in so long is sick of being stifled.’
“You are the only one of this pack that does not see that there have been problems for us as demons in this world. Do you want another running around being treated as cruelly as you had been? Do you really want to stay a hanyou for the rest of your life? Not having children of your own and not having a life of anything except for me? I can’t do that and eventually you would have gone nuts too. I did you a favor.’
“Miroku and Kouga were so in love with each other they did not care about building up their race. They did not want to live you jerk! They were just as sick of this life as I am! You all were wasting your lives with these humans and we are surrounded here. I can smell them everywhere I go and we were……….we were………..”

Sesshoumaru stopped himself trying hard to explain. Inuyasha then understood.

“We were trying to breed with humans to keep our race alive.”

Inuyasha sat on the couch and looked down at his hands.

“I knew I could not have children with them Sesshoumaru, but I still loved Kagome. I loved her and you understood that I thought. I thought we understood each other better then this. You did not talk to me about anything. You made me this demon and I don’t know how to deal with it.”

Sesshoumaru did not move from the door afraid Inuyasha would leave him. He could not look at his mate right now. Inuyasha hated him and said he disgusted him. That hurt like hell. Throwing the ring away that he had picked special had been the final straw since that moment did make him realize how much Inuyasha did mean to him.

“Inuyasha forget having my child. Forget this stupid idea of mine and attack me. Kill us both now. I made my wish to make you powerful and a demon like me. I was not expecting that it would make you pregnant too. That was unexpected and at first I was happy. Now, I see it was a mistake. We can’t live as demons in the human world.”

Inuyasha stood up slowly. Touching his belly he felt their child inside of him. Looking at Sesshoumaru slumped on the floor in front of the door who was twirling the ring he gave Inuyasha in his fingers staring at it intensely with a sad look in his eyes. Thinking for a moment Inuyasha made his decision. He wanted his fucking ring back.

“Give me that it is not yours to keep.”

Sesshoumaru looked up at Inuyasha who grabbed the ring out of his hand. Inuyasha put the ring on his finger. Inuyasha then went back to the couch and sat quietly placing his hand over his belly wondering if their child was going to look like him at all. How the fuck was he supposed to give birth as a man? It seemed very weird and at the same time Inuyasha felt comfort in the thought of holding their baby. He wanted a full mating though and everything that came with it. Inuyasha wanted them to marry as life mates even if they had to leave the damn country to do it.

“If you ever lie to me again or do anything this insane without talking to me Sesshoumaru I will indeed take our child leaving you to die on your own. Do not hide anything from me again.”

Sesshoumaru moved cautiously over to the couch not sitting too close to Inuyasha wondering if Inuyasha still hated him or if this was really an end to the fight. His jaw still hurt a bit from that punch. Inuyasha as a full demon was definitely stronger. Dominating him in a full mating would be difficult.

“So are we at peace or do I need to write a treaty in order to gain a truce with you?”

Sesshoumaru asked Inuyasha softly. Inuyasha saw how much he had hurt Sesshoumaru with his words. Still Sesshoumaru had killed him. He had killed his friends and the human woman he loved. Inuyasha could not forgive him completely. It was all too fresh and too painful.

“What did you do with the bodies?”

Sesshoumaru knew this question would come up.

“You won’t like it.”

Inuyasha looked at Sesshoumaru and frowned. Still he had to know.

“If you don’t tell me I am leaving right now. No fucking secrets even if the things you say bother me.”

Sesshoumaru shrugged and picked his teeth with a toothpick he pulled from his pocket.

“I ate them.”

Inuyasha’s eyes went wide in shock. Then he thought about his death and moved away from Sesshoumaru who grasped his hand with a fanged grin.

“I was in demon dog form and I ate them. Kouga was a bit tough, but Miroku wasn’t too bad. I don’t recall Kagome or her family. They are probably why I have a bit of indigestion. I don’t much care for the taste of humans, but I used to eat steel wolves on occasion.”

Inuyasha tried to pull away, but Sesshoumaru refused to let him.

“You asked Inuyasha and you said no secrets so I told you.”

Inuyasha was shaking a bit in fear. What would he have done with his body? Would Sesshoumaru have eaten him too in order to hide the evidence?

“No I would not eat my own kind. I am not a cannibal. I did not know what to do with you. Then I remembered I had the jewel so I made my wish. I crushed it and here we are.”

Sesshoumaru stated shrugging waiting for the verdict, but at this point he did not care. Inuyasha was already disgusted with him and hated him so what did it matter what he said at this point.

“Ok you asshole, if you were not going to make the wish then what would you have done with me?”

Inuyasha frowned unhappy that Sesshoumaru had actually eaten their friends and did not seem to give a rat’s ass about it.

“I would have used my acid on you and buried your body. I would have brought you flowers and cried over you for many years. I cannot die so I wanted to ask the jewel to die, but it won’t do that. So I am fucked and I am tired of being a monster by myself since I know you see me as one now. I did not ever hide my true nature from you Inuyasha. I am what I am.”

Inuyasha was pulled into Sesshoumaru’s embrace, but the pup would not stop shaking in fear. He was terrified. What if Sesshoumaru changed his mind about all of this at the last minute and decided to kill him again.

“If I wanted you dead I would not have brought you back to life. Your thoughts are irritating. Now tell me are you still disgusted with me or can I touch our child that is growing inside of you without you freaking out on me?”

Inuyasha looked up at Sesshoumaru unsure what to do or say. He was confused and frightened. Still he was going to have their baby so it wasn’t like he could just avoid Sesshoumaru.

“I have one last question before we start playing make up for all this shit. How as a man am I supposed to have this baby? I am not going to have it out of that………it would be……….I don’t even want to think of that………..”

Inuyasha stated crossing his arms pouting making Sesshoumaru start laughing his ass off. It was funny as hell.

“We cut it out of you. You will heal Inuyasha. I will cut it out of you and it will be painful at first. We will have to strap you down since I can’t have you claw the hell out of yourself or kill the baby. You will kill both yourself and the child if I don’t do that. I won’t fully mate you Inuyasha until after this child is born. If you wish to marry as life mates though I will do that if you want to.”

Sesshoumaru stated softly as he placed a gentle clawed hand under Inuyasha’s shirt touching the round abdomen that carried his baby. Sesshoumaru could feel the child kicking and knew that it would only be a few weeks before their first was born. It was too fast. Demons did not normally have children develop this fast so it had to be the jewel’s power. Usually it took at least a year before he would even show, but they had been lovers for a very long time.

“I would say you have about five weeks before we will have to remove the pup.”

Inuyasha frowned not liking this, but he did feel some comfort with Sesshoumaru’s claws over his belly. Sesshoumaru knew he was not going to get any sex tonight, but he still wanted to embrace his mate. Inuyasha was so angry with him and even if he did not show it outside it fucking hurt like hell.

“I forgive you Sesshoumaru. Just don’t hurt me anymore. You promised and you don’t break promises. Why you did this I don’t understand. I am not disgusted with you. I was angry and did not mean those words. I did not mean to hurt you and I do love you. I just can’t believe you would eat our friends………..I mean you really fucking ate them didn’t you?”

Sesshoumaru could not help it as he smirked at Inuyasha then used the toothpick showing Inuyasha a hair of Kouga’s that had gotten caught in his fangs.

“Yes……..I really ate them, licked up the blood, and acid burned the rest of the evidence in the dumpster. I like the blood of wolves. Trust me if they could have they would do the same to us and they used to when we fought each other. We had fantastic battles before all demons went soft on humans. It was a real bloodbath and when your demon is hungry it feasts. It is what we do. Get over it…….I had to do something with them and you can place markers for them where ever you want to. Don’t ask me anymore, the evidence is right there on the table in front of you. I am going to brush my teeth.”

Sesshoumaru stated angrily as he got up. He did not want to talk about it anymore. It was not something he was proud of it was just the facts of things.

Going into the bathroom Sesshoumaru locked the door sitting on the floor sobbing for his old friends and his fucking immortal life that he could not end. Inuyasha would now fear him and not ever trust him. It would have been better not to bring the pup back to life, but he did not wish to be alone in the world. It was a selfish wish, but Sesshoumaru did not want to live forever if he had to do it by himself watching the world die around him.

Sesshoumaru had tried every possible way he could think of to destroy his life, but nothing worked. Now he had responsibilities he did not want. He did not want this pup, but now it was here. Sesshoumaru was to be a Father and Inuyasha being a full demon now had the ability to bear him children.

As a hanyou it was safe, he could have Inuyasha as a lover. Now it meant he had to fully mate Inuyasha or risk his pup’s resentment. Having that fucking jewel in his possession was just a reminder of one of those stupid human quotes that haunted him. ‘Be careful what you wish for.’
