A/N:Thanks for reading my first story.There will be some character deaths later in the story and I plain to make it a long one.There are many original characters in this story. This will be the only story I will be working on for the time being, so that it can get my full dedication.Please review, be honest but not harsh.

"Hey beautiful. So how is my baby sister doing today?" Zane gave Jade a great big bear hug and then let her go.

" I was fine till you squeezed me to death. You act like you haven't seen me for years." She gave him a great big smile.

" Well it has only been 5 days, but it feels like forever. Hey do you know why Mioko is mad at me? I went to see her and she told me that she is worth expensive gifts as well.Then slammed the door in my face. To tell you the truth, I don't know what she's talking about."

" Ha,ha, she is on that. Well she came to borrow a night gown and saw this one." She pointed to the one she had on,"I told her no that you had bought it for me when you went to visit Uncle Shin. She said you only got her some seeds. I didn't think she was angry though."

"Do you mean to tell me that is what all that was about. God! She is so insecure. Those damn seeds cost just as much as that gown and robe put together.Those seeds are so rare that I had to send someone out to get them months ago. I had them delivered to Uncle's house so I could bring them back as a surprise for her. That and your gift was the whole purpose of my trip. I know how much she loves her garden, and I wanted her to have something very special in her's that no one else around here has. That way when people came over she could brag.Even if they were not expensive it is the thought that counts, she is very ungreatful." Zane was obviously upset.

"Well brother please don't be angry she has been feeling real down for some reason. She said she thinks we all put her last. I know she is a drama queen, but cut her some slack. When she slammed the door in your face, what she wanted you to do was knock and ask her what was wrong."

"You know I am not that type of person. I will not play her childish games. I am a prince and I cater to no one, even if she is my sister. She can go to hell if she thinks I will take that shit from her." He had went into a faze that he went into when ever he felt he was wronged. It was a, I don't care I'm a prince and I am right faze.

"Zee, you don't mean that. You can put on that front for everyone else, but I know you are acting like that cuz she hurt your feelings.
I will go talk to her for you. I assure you that by tomorrow she will be singing another tune. " Jade gave him a pat on the back and his facial expression changed.When he looked at her she was making the funniest face to get him to laugh. No matter how much he tried, he could not help but laugh "How do you do it? I was so pissed and now I can't even remember why. By the way you look stunning in that gown. I knew you would. Is it comfortable?"

"Yes. It is so soft against my skin. I love it, but Daddy went berserk when he saw it. Don't worry I put him in his place." She laughed at the thought of it.

" I bet you did. That would explain why when I came in he said I was a contributor to your rebellion. Well I should turn in for the night I have along trip ahead of me in the morning." He leaned over and gave her a hug," I almost forgot. I should not be telling you this, so you did not hear it form me. I just want you to be aware. Dad told me not to tell you or Mioko, he thought it would scare you. Someone saw a demon lurking around the castle a couple of nights ago. So when you go out tomorrow be on your guard."

" If it was a couple nights ago I am sure it's gone by now. Why would it want to hang aroud here. I'm sure It has better things to do."

" I forgot you don't know much about demons. They do things that make no since to you or me. We don't know why it was here,but it seemed to be interested in the castle. So you may be right, It could be gone, but it could still be around. As for it having something better to do I seriously doubt it. Demons are uncivilized brute creatures that have little brains. It probably saw the castle and didn't know what it was, so it wanted a better look. It probably did leave."

Sesshomaru was offended" That arrogant fuck. How dare he, I am a thousand times smarter then he will ever be."

"Sesshomaru, He knows not what he says. He knows only what his stupid jealous father tells him." They got quiet to hear the rest.

"Zee and how many demons do you know?"

"None.why would I...."

Jade cut him off. " Exactly none. If you do not know any then do not judge them. I think they are probably very intelligent. They have been around alot longer than us mortals so it would make since for them to know more." She was very passionate when she spoke.

"Sister you have such a big heart and love for all things. Trust me demons are not cute like animals. You must promise me if you see one you will not approach it, but run away and not look back." His face was so serious.

"Well, good night brother." she kissed him on the cheek and turned away. He could tell she was purposely not answering him. He knew better then to argue with her so he smiled and left.

"A demon I wonder what they look like." At that moment Jade felt a hand touch her shoulder.

"Sister what did you say?" It was Mioko.

"I said......um. I am sleepy ."

" Me to. So what did Zane say? I refused to talk to him." She stuck her head up high in the air.

"He was upset by your actions as he should be. Do you know how much trouble he went through to get those seeds? Alot, they are very expensive and rare. He made that trip just to get them so he could surprise you.When they bloomed he wanted you to be able to brag about them , how you were the only one with any of the type of flowers they produce. I think you need to, No! I know you need to apologize to him tonight. You were wrong and I am disappointed in you." She stuck out her bottom lip and made her sad face that no one could say no to.

"You are right I was wrong and I will apologize. I am just a little nervous about tomorrow and took it out on him. I was thinking what if he doesn't like me."

"Who?"

"The prince, remember I told you he was coming tomorrow."Mioko was biting her nails.

"Yeah, now I remember.Don't be scared he will love you. I am sure of it." She yawned ," I am going to go in and go to bed now. So I will see you in the morning." Jade gave her sister a hug.

"Yes, I almost forgot I will not be coming horse back riding with you tomorrow. I will be here meeting the prince. Daddy might not let you go. Well good night."

"I will still go even if he says no. It's not like he will notice he will be busy with you. Well see you in the morning."They both went in to go to bed."Did you hear that she will be alone tomorrow. You can Follow her and maybe if it is not asking to much talk to her."

"Why me? When you can do it yourself."Sesshomaru was curious.

"I am so large. I think I will scare her since she has never in her life seen a demon. I do not want that ,even if she is not my kin,cuz I have grown to like her. You are not as big as I and would probably be less frightening. Please friend will you do this for me?"

Deep down he wanted to see her again. "Yes, I will do it. I must admit I am now slightly curious myself."They went to the front of the castle and sat up in a tree for the night . They did not go to sleep, guards were every where because of the demon sighting and plus nither one was sleepy.When morning came they saw Zane leave. Then there was no activity until that afternoon when a large beautiful carriage pulled by 6 white horses followed by 5 guards one horse back pulled up. Two men got of the carriage and were escorted into the castle,"Bo 'Rai Cho look the prince is here."

"That he is and it is almost time for her to go get her horse."

"Then shall we go wait by the stable and then follow her?"

"Yes, but I think I will wait here for your return because if she is my kin I will have to go up to her and look her in the eyes and tell her .I will not be able to resist. This will scare her. So if she is my grandaughter and you talk to her please don't tell her of her demon origins yet. I don't think she can handle that coming from a stranger." He had a look on his face as if he was up to something
