He's Way Better

Inuyasha stared at the scence before him in disbelif. Slowly his shock turned anger. Anger at Koga and betrayl at Kagome. "How could you do this Kagome? Why him?" Inuyasha's hurt and desbelief colored his voice.

However Kagome didn't feel gulity for what she was doing and she felt she had a good reason not to be. "Do what Inuyasha? Hmm? Have sex with Koga? Well, let me tell you, I love Koga and he doesn't go back between me and another woman. Unlike you." "The funny thing is that you actually feel betrayed when your the one who lied and used me. You only wanted Kikyo and since I was the closest thing you could have to her you acted like you liked me." Kagome's eyes and voice were codl as ice as she swam upstream to retrieve discarded clothes.

All the while Koga sat there in shock at Kagome's outburst and angry at Inuyasha's interferefence. His eyes followed Kagome upstream where she got out like she didn't care that she was being watched. Koga turned to Inuyasha who was watching her like a hungry man. "Hey dog-face stop staring at my woman," Koga growled low and fierce.

" I can look at what I want and Kagome isn't your woman." "Sniff again ass, maybe your unjustified anger masked her scent." Inuyasha looked at Koga in confusion and took a deep inhale and caught Kagome's...scent.

'What the hell? This isn't what Kagome normally smells like. She smells like a- a pureblooded demon. but she also reeks horribly of him. Growling deep in his throat Inyasha turned to the now dressed Kagome.

"So... So your now a pureblooded demon. Feh should have know you would have done anything witga. ga. What was th point, huh? Did you want to get stronger then me, to prove you didn't need me also that you weren't weak." Inuyasha looked at Kagome in disgust.

Kagome gave Inuyasha a level look, not flinching or blinking. "My transformation has nothing to do with you or being stronger. I was already stronger before I trained with Koga because of Sesshoumaru and Kaede. Koga saved my life by changing me, I'm his mate as a result. I do not regret what has happened. You lost your chance when you chose Kikyou. I refuse to be second best and to be played."

Inuyasha stared at her in shock and sadness. Then he suddendly ran right at Koga. "Damn you, you mangy wolf." He started to throw punches at him, mostly in humiliation. Koga grabbed Inuyasha's arms and pushed him away and was about to go after him when Kagome yelled," Sit." And Inuyasha did his infamous face plant.

Kagome looked at Inuyasha with pity filled eyes. "Inuyasha I'm sorry but I love Koga, not you. Why can't you understand that?"


Inuyasha looked gave at her in a heart-broken expression. "Kikyo tricked us, she made you see us in the clearing and hate me. Shes been waiting for you to give up and leave. Did you know?"

Kagome smiled slightly and walked over to him. She put a finger under his chin and brought his face up to hers. "You'll be OK. I still love you as friend. Nothing less. You love Kikyo, you should do what you feel is right." Then she kissed his forehead and gave him a quick smile and walked away.


Koga looked after Kagome in surprise as did Inuyasha. Inuyasha glanced over at Koga," Your lucky to have her. If you hurt her in any way yo hav have to answer to me. You'll pay." Then Inuyasha ran off.

Koga found this interesting. 'Kagome would hurt me before and worse then Inuyasha.' With that thought he ran to catch up with Kagome who was heading up to the cliff where she used to lay.
