Shetaro snorted and looked over at Frewin.
“Does he ever grow up?” asked the youkai.
“You wish man, and he’s your father.”
Shetaro rolled his eyes and looked at the neckless around his neck. He wanted to be rid of such a thing, especially since it came from the crazy priestess from the main land. He reached up and tried to take it off, but it didn’t budge. He looked over at Frewin, who nodded and came over. Yet the result was the same. They couldn’t pull it off.
“What the fuck is this thing!” shouted Frewin when he, moved back to look at it from a distance, almost growling at it.
“That, boy, is a magical neckless that only a few can get it off of him.”
Frewin turned over to Kaede, who looked at him with a leveled gaze.
“Can you take it off of him?” he asked coldly.
“Aye, I can, but I will not do such a thing. Was that truly thee lord Yamasso?”
“Yeah, it was. And why not?” asked InuYasha, coming over.
“It will teach him a leson. He should handle things in a different manner then to jump in head first.”
Not only did Shetaro and Frewin snort at that, but so did InuYasha, crossing his arms over his chest. Shetaro’s eyes sudenly widened.
“Asshole! He did it on purpose!” he exclaimed looking at the spot where Yamasso had been.
“What do you mean?” asked Sango.
“Our father did it on purpose to leave before we even tried to take it off. He’s just a scardy cat at times,” answered Frewin.
“He always runs if it means we’re going to be yelling at him for a good hour or something. And he runs away when he doesn’t want to help us get out of the mess we get ourselves in, even if he has the power to do so,” added Shetaro with a low growl.
“Well, nothing you can do about it now. So, you heard of Yamasso before old hag?” asked InuYasha, turning to the priestess.
“Aye, I have. Actually, I have met him a few times when he came to look over ye when ye were here before the death of my sister.”
InuYasha looked at Kaede with wide eyes. Now that was a surprise.
“He didn’t do anything, did he?”
“Iie, he would just sit down and make some flower crowns while talkin’ to me gently, but most of the time he would just stay quiet and watch ye and my sister.”
The hanyou nodded and looked over to see Frewin and Shetaro looking at them with bored and interested looks.
“So, you know my father?” asked Shetaro.
Kaede nodded slowly as she looked at Shetaro, who just looked back evenly. Frewin sighed and moved away, looking around the
small village.
“This place is really a bore. Wanna go cause some trouble Shet? I’m sure we can scare a few villagers easilly.”
The youkai looked over at his brother and smirked.
“A few? Let’s put it to the whole village. I’m sure it wont take much to do so.”
“What?! You two are not going to cause trouble, understood?” asked Kagome.
Frewin turned to look at her with a bored face. He placed his hand on her shoulder and pushed her back easilly, making her fall on her butt.
“Hey! What did you do that for?!” asked Shippo, jumping in Kagome’s lap.
“Just to prove that I could push her around if I felt like it and that she shouldn’t try to order us around. We only listen to ourselves.”
“And father on occasions,” added Shetaro with a grin, making Frewin laugh.
With that said, the two ran away, Shetaro settliong to Frewin’s speed, which was still fast for normal humans. InuYasha just looked at them leave, arms crossed behind his head. Miroku leaned besides him.
“Aren’t you going to go after them?” asked the monk.
“What for? They have the right to have some fun if they want. Just as long as they don’t get us in trouble I don’t mind.”
“They did insult Kagome,” pointed out Sango, close to them.
InuYasha looked as Kagome looked mad as she stood up, yet she didn’t say anything and just started in the direction that the two had gone in to.
“She was kinda asking for it. Not my problem if she can’t deal with some pups on her own.”
“I would hardly consider them pups, InuYasha. They are almost indepentent, it would seem,” said Kaede.
“Seeming isn’t always what it is. Believe me, they are still pups. So, what did we come here for anyways?”
“Kagome merely wished to show me the two young ones.”
InuYasha glared at the old woman.
“I’m going to find out what you’re up to, believe me.”

Miroku looked as the two boys washed themselves in the water stream. They had just all faught some demons that had left them covered in their guts, which meant everyone needed a good cleaning. The only reason the monk was looking at the two boys was because of the mark on Frewin’s back. Had he not known better, he would have thought it was a brand, but it looked more like i had been drawn there then if it had been heated.
“What are you looking at, you perverted monk?” asked InuYasha, quietly enough so the boys couldn’t hear him.
“The mark on Frewin’s back. I wonder what it is.”
“Why not just go ask him?”
Miroku looked at InuYasha with wide eyes.
“Have you lost the very little of the sanity you had? I am not going to ask him something I discovered while he was washing, epecially not if he’s still washing himself.”
InuYasha rolled his eyes and went over to the two boys, who looked up from their conversation to look at the hanyou crouching on the rock behind them.
“What’s up?”
“Just wondering about that mark on your back. Did you get it on the main continent?”
Frewin’s face bcame emotionless and he stood up, taking a towel and left. InuYasha blinked, Miroku coming over to see them curious as to what happened.
“That marks is from his home village, before it was destroyed. Frewin ain’t just a dump miko, he’s a dump royal miko. The village was where the next heir was sent so he could learn about the people and be a better king then the previous one or something. Family tradition. He hates it ever since his family was killed there.”
“How old was he when it was marked on him?” asked Miroku.
“Birth. First born gets it and then the second gets a different. There’s thirteen different ones, if I remember correctly.”
“Which one does Frewin have?” asked InuYasha.
Shetaro smiled over at them.
“The eleventh.”
That made them both look at the youkai with wide eyes. Shetaro just continued to smile as he got out and shamelessly followed Frewin with his towel drying his hair, whole body uncovered. It was clear he did it on purpose to annoy Kagome.
“He had ten siblings? Wow, that must be something. It’s hard to be in the same room as you and Sesshoumaru, must have been worse for him and his family,” teased Miroku.
InuYasha glared at him before also leaving. Miroku sighed and followed. A scream was soon heard and he soon saw Shetaro slowly dressing himself and a very red Kagome standing as far away as she could with her back turned to the youkai.

Yamasso was sitting in a tree when he felt a familiar unwanted presence coming nearer to where he was. And it wasn’t alone. Deciding it was too much effort at the moment to move, he just stayed there and calmed his breathing and heart beat so it wasn’t noticeble unless you were against him. The presences stopped right under his tree and he doubted very much that he had been spoted.
“Is there something Naraku-sama?” asked the voice of Kagura.
“Someone is near by...” answered a pondering deep voice.
Yamasso couldn’t resist opening his eyes to see who it was. He looked at the youkai and just had to make a face. He really didn’t like the sight of the other youkai’s aura, which he could see easily.
“Truly? I don’t not sence anyone,” came Kagura’s voice, making Yamasso’s grimace grow bigger.
He could really be imature when he wanted to. A sudden chill crawled up his spine, but before he could make a fast get away, he found himself being looked from head to toe by Naraku, who was now directly in front of him.
“Now, what do we have here?”
