Too Much Time On Their Hands

Megan sat on the couch watching TV with Sesshoumaru laying his head on her lap. The two of them for once were not fighting and they were relaxed. It was quiet today other than Inuyasha which was normal for everyone.

Michael was going to be due soon with Inuyasha’s pup and Inuyasha as usual had been driving the house insane. He was obsessed this time that they were all out to hide all of his things from him. If Inuyasha couldn’t find it someone stole it or moved it. It was never his fault since he would not do that, but it was Kouga’s and Sesshoumaru’s fault always. If it were not for the fact they were used to this then they would have had him committed.

“So nothing is on as usual.”

Sesshoumaru stated as Megan flipped through the channels on the remote like a whirlwind from hell. It was giving him a headache.

“Something is on, I just know it. We didn’t get cable TV with over 1000 channels to have nothing on.”

Megan insisted until Sesshoumaru grabbed the remote away turning the television off. He couldn’t handle the flipping anymore. Megan and Inuyasha were habitual channel sharks having to surf every damn channel to find what they wanted.

“What is it with you and Inuyasha not ever reading the TV guide? We even have a channel that shows you what is on yet you both have to do things the hard way.”

Sesshoumaru stated firmly as he pouted in Megan’s lap then pulled her hair down to kiss him.

“I was bored and I didn’t want to look on there. I can find what I want just as fast just ask Inuyasha.”

Megan stated after the kiss licking her lips a bit. Sesshoumaru was so sweet, but he was being melancholy a bit again. It was the beach and the smell of salt water from this different location that he wasn’t used to. He wanted to go back home.

“We are moving again. I can’t stand it here. As soon as Michael has that pup we are gone.”

Sesshoumaru grumbled as Megan ran her long clawed fingers through his hair. He had it trimmed again and had the back cut a little shorter this time. It was down just past his ass and not so cumbersome. Still Megan missed the length when it had been down to his ankles. It was so beautiful, but it would grow fast. His hair never stayed short for long.

“Well how does Inuyasha feel about that? You know he loves this beach.”

Megan stated softly. Sesshoumaru closed his eyes. He didn’t care how Inuyasha felt.

“I am Alpha. Our home is where we belong. We need to get back to Tokyo and Inuyasha can surf there too. It is where our family is waiting for us and I am not going to do as we have been doing. I have made a decision again. Michael is to be ours. Inuyasha needs a playmate and we have found our comfort here. When Inuyasha becomes restless it wears on us both. I love him, but I cannot keep up anymore. So we will be a foursome. It is best that way and this way Inuyasha can have someone to be with for a while that enjoys his nonsense. Inuyasha’s tantrums are wearing me out. Kouga will just have to get over it and find another vampire to play with.”

Sesshoumaru stated sadly as he looked out at the beach where Inuyasha and Michael were sitting under an umbrella holding hands.

“Won’t Inuyasha resent me for that Sesshoumaru? It has been the three of us for years. Now you wish to split us up again. I won’t have it Sesshoumaru. I love you very much, but some days I think Inuyasha is right. You are an anal tyrant who doesn’t know what is good for us. We really do better when it is just the three of us and we both are willing to give Michael over to Kouga. He belongs with the wolf that made him and he is far too infatuated with you both.”

Megan stated a bit angrily. Sesshoumaru grinned wickedly.

“Do I detect a hint of jealousy? I am flattered.”

Sesshoumaru stated as Megan growled trying to get up from the couch as Sesshoumaru pinned his little kitty under him.

“Let me go you Fluffy excuse of a………mmmmmmmmmffffffffff”

Megan roared until Sesshoumaru silenced her with a searing kiss. He hadn’t kissed her like that in years and she found her claws wrapping around him along with the rest of her body.

“I think we need to go to the bedroom to finish this discussion my love.”

Sesshoumaru stated as his eyes glowed a bit red looking down at the woman he loved. Sesshoumaru had not truly loved anyone except his mates and children. Megan was so wild and different. She was someone who understood him where Inuyasha did not even try to. Inuyasha however had always been his first love and was going to be his last.

This was not normally supposed to happen between males with them both falling for the same woman. The way this was supposed to work was that they were both supposed to have separate females. Inuyasha had practically beaten the hell out of him when he thought about separating them so this was a good sign.

Sesshoumaru thought he would change their mating. He could unmate them all if he so wished. As Alpha he had ultimate power over them all. It might liven things up a bit to start fresh and at that both his mates practically tied him to the bed telling him their opinion on that one.

“Yes, well I am not going to let you go do whatever you want. You are stuck with us all or none so figure it out big guy.”

Megan stated with another fiery kiss to those lips. Sesshoumaru moaned into the kiss and felt his heart beating a bit faster.

“Indeed.”

Sesshoumaru stated softly as he lifted his mate into the bedroom closing the door with his mental powers as they shredded their clothing. It was going to be another good day and Sesshoumaru decided it was time to let the bonds be severed for a time. Inuyasha was too much of a boy still and Sesshoumaru was a man. He had always been more mature and Inuyasha’s childishness was starting to drive him nuts. Having Megan with them both was like having two Inuyasha’s in the same house. Sesshoumaru just couldn’t handle it anymore. He needed some peace.

When he was done Megan was to be his wife and mate for life. Inuyasha met his match and Michael would be good for him. They were both young and Michael would keep Inuyasha from driving people crazy. Inuyasha could also be in charge of Michael which he would love. It would work. Then after some time he would rekindle his relationship once again with Inuyasha and they would be as they were before. For now this was best.

“Megan…….I love you.”

Sesshoumaru whispered softly after she fell asleep in his arms. Megan was under a spell and now it was time to gather Inuyasha to him for their final moments together for a while. Inuyasha would stay here with Michael and they would come to get him later. It was time for Inuyasha to live and have the billions of family come bother him for a change. Sesshoumaru wanted to go home, his family wanted to come here. It would be good for Inuyasha to be around everyone and finish sewing whatever wild oats he had left in him. Then when he truly matured they could be together again. Inuyasha obviously wanted to share himself and Sesshoumaru did not. If this was how it would be than he and his mates needed to part ways for a time.

Getting dressed only in his silky white pajama pants and robe Sesshoumaru went out to confront his beloved brother. This was the most difficult decision he had ever made in his life and now there was no holding back.

Inuyasha sat on the beach still even though Michael had left to go take a nap. He had to be tired and Inuyasha felt a strain in his neck from sitting in that uncomfortable position so that Michael could be comfortable with his head on his lap while he rested on the beach after the two of them had enjoyed a heavy make out session.

“Inuyasha I need to speak to you.”

Sesshoumaru stated as he sat next to Inuyasha who was looking out at the waves.

“You are going to leave me.”

Inuyasha stated bitterly. He already knew and had known for a while this was coming.

“Not forever Inuyasha. Just for a while, until things are not so chaotic. I cannot keep doing as we have done little one. I cannot go through this again. How many times have we talked about this and yet you still avoid the subject?”

Sesshoumaru stated angrily.

“You aren’t the one who has to be without the ones you love the most. You at least get to keep her.”

Inuyasha frowned and looked away.

“We are both in love with her and we are both tired of sharing her even with each other. The males in us want more and you know that. What do you want me to say Inuyasha? That this is going to get better? You are coming into full demon adulthood soon and I won’t fight you. I do not wish to fight you anymore especially considering our past. It is best we unmate until it is done and then once you are past the initial phases of this we can re-mate. It will be romantic no?”

Sesshoumaru stated firmly.

“You say that now, but then you will want me. I won’t want you without her though. I will kill you first before I let you pull us apart.”

Inuyasha stated angrily. Michael was special to him, sure that was true. Perhaps Sesshoumaru had been right about that. Still it didn’t change the bond the three of them had. It was not fair that his demon chose now of all times to rear its ugly head again. Their baby wasn’t even due yet so it wasn’t like they did not have time.

“You mean you will try.”

Sesshoumaru stated firmly with a slight smirk. Inuyasha fell into his arms and wept.

“Why is it always us who must sacrifice? Why can’t we just be as we were?”

Inuyasha stated sadly.

“Because pup, as I told you in the beginning. At some point mates who have been together so many years as we have done will eventually grow apart for a while. It is normal and if they do not unmate they become unfaithful. We have done so too much for too long. I want solace and I want loyalty. You cannot promise this while Michael is still in our midst and I know you love him. I want you to have time with him before Kouga takes him.’
“The wolves are familiar with this ritual and can be intimate within their own packs. They are not Inus and you will return to us soon enough. I do not forget my mate and who I loved first. It was you who taught me such nonsense as this love feeling that now I cannot breathe without it.”

Inuyasha leaned into Sesshoumaru as they looked out at the ocean.

“I don’t want to do this. Lock me up or something. Just don’t unmate me. I cannot bear it.”

Sesshoumaru sighed. Inuyasha was always the one that made him soft and some days it really hurt. He couldn’t stand seeing his mate with another and he wanted Inuyasha to himself. However, it was unfair to ask Inuyasha to leave Michael especially in Michael’s current condition.

“I don’t like seeing you with others. I cannot tolerate it anymore. It makes me feel like doing violence and I resent Michael although I try not to.”

Inuyasha sighed and then pouted.

“You know if he was not with my pup I would leave him.”

Sesshoumaru nodded.

“I know this was not the plan, but it has happened Inuyasha, and I want you to get through the phases so I am asking you to allow me this time to unwind. I am not asking you to be gone from my life forever. It will only be for a year.”

Inuyasha held onto Sesshoumaru’s hand.

“Just hold me for a while and tell me you love me. Stay with me until dawn and make love to me one more time before the dawn.”

Sesshoumaru nodded and complied. He loved Inuyasha more than even Megan although he would not ever tell her this. Inuyasha was his very first love and as he entwined his fingers with his beloved, Sesshoumaru felt lost. This was his male soul mate and his heart belonged to Inuyasha too. It was just too much to ask him to be kind to an old lover he really did want to be over and to see Inuyasha with Michael was killing a part of him. Sesshoumaru wanted to keep Inuyasha, but it wasn’t fair to ask him to leave Michael when the man needed him.

As they made love on the beach tears formed in Sesshoumaru’s eyes since he would be leaving at dawn. The spell was done as he carried Inuyasha into the bedroom where he would sleep with his new lover. Michael would make up for the time he could not be there. Sesshoumaru would come for him in a year’s time and then Kouga would take Michael as planned. It was for the best.

“This way you will not long for me in the night Inuyasha and so you will be free to explore for a while. Grow and be strong. When I come for you it will seem like only a blink that I was gone from your side. I will always love you my Inuyasha.”

Sesshoumaru kissed Inuyasha one last time caressing that beautiful cherubic face before moving to the door. It was time to take Megan, pack, leave, and insure not a scent of them was left. It was time to go home. Sesshoumaru wiped away the tears and proceeded as flashes of light were all that could be seen before the house was completely empty of any sign that he or Megan were ever there. At that moment a part of Sesshoumaru died and his heart indeed was broken since he loved Inuyasha that much.
