Too Much Time On Their Hands

The three demons started getting ready to go out. They had a lot of shopping they wanted to do and site seeing. Then there was the surf shop they had to stop at for Inuyasha. Of course that was the main reason for leaving the mansion today. Inuyasha would die if he didn’t have a new surf board and they all knew it.

Inuyasha felt better about his relationship with his mates, but it didn’t change the fact that Sesshoumaru and Megan had been only thinking about each other more than him lately. They both promised to make that up in platinum until he was over the fact that he was only a third in their relationship. Megan had felt the same way once and wanted to make Inuyasha understand that he wasn’t the only person who felt that way some days. They all went through that since she and Inuyasha had time alone a lot together during the day when Sesshoumaru was busy with his duties. Inuyasha had made love several times with Megan when they were alone. They had fun with the little ones, went shopping, and were rather close. In some ways they had been closer to each other than to their Alpha who felt cheated since he had to rule still over stupid people.

“Inuyasha you are to be in the middle of us or did you forget?”

Sesshoumaru stated with a smirk as Inuyasha always let Sesshoumaru be in the middle of them both or Megan. Most of the time Sesshoumaru was leading them forward just expecting Megan and Inuyasha to follow him. That was what an Alpha demon did and sometimes the Alpha would end up accidently leaving the whole damn pack behind if they were not careful.

“Ok, but it doesn’t feel like it should. I mean hell, you are always leading us and you are always in the middle so you are messing up the formation Sesshoumaru so lead on big dog even if this is weird.”

Megan leaned against Inuyasha’s shoulder. He felt lucky they at least had one female who didn’t treat their relationship with each other like it was wrong. That is why Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru stopped ever looking for another female plus they didn’t want to have more kids since they had a ton of them. All of them could bear children so why screw with things?

“Inuyasha, do you want another female for yourself? I mean I can’t help being Sesshoumaru’s soul mate, but what about your feelings?”

Megan stated softly to Inuyasha who stopped and kissed her for all he was worth.

“No thanks, I am happy. Sesshoumaru is my soul mate. We just haven’t connected as of late because things have been so chaotic at home. I am going to talk Sesshoumaru into some time alone so you can do some things like you wanted to. I understand why you need time away since I need it too.”

Sesshoumaru was listening and frowning at that. They wouldn’t split up as far as he was concerned. No fucking time away from each other since they as mates had been so busy with everyone else that they needed to be just mates together or this whole plan was useless.

“You two conspiring will not change my mind.”

Inuyasha frowned as did Megan at this comment. They knew he was anal, but sometimes he took it to a whole new level.

“It isn’t like we can’t be on our own and handle our lives. We have both done it for years Sesshoumaru.”

Inuyasha stated angrily since he had more time without his mate then Megan did not that this wasn’t partially his own fault. He just didn’t want to fess up to it.

“I had made mistakes, they will not happen again.”

Sesshoumaru stated matter of fact. He was not about to give up his time with his mates again. Both his mates seemed to want to run off all the time without him and then when he wanted to do such a thing he was tackled by them. So it was only fair that they suffer too.

“Last time we all agreed to give ourselves time off we ended up messed up, fighting, and sleeping with everyone except for each other. I am done with that. I wanted to leave and you two would not let me go so you are stuck now. I will not be without my mates and that is final.”

Inuyasha looked at Megan.

“You know if we ran off in two different directions it would be a lot more difficult for him to catch us.”

Sesshoumaru looked at Inuyasha and grasped his hair and Megan’s like they were going to take off on him. He had heard enough.

“You will not run anywhere or we will go back home where I will never allow you to surf again since I will break every damn board you own. I will tie Megan down to the bed for the rest of her life and you with her. This whole thing is for you Inuyasha so shut the hell up and do what I say. Believe me I can catch both of you and you both would not like the results if I have to chase either one of you today.”

With that Sesshoumaru let go as his mates pouted at him fixing their hair. He was no fun today.

Walking into the surf shop Inuyasha always felt like he was in some kind of surfer’s heaven. Everything he wanted was right there except for the style of board he was looking for this time. He would settle with some of the others as back up boards, but he wanted something special this time. Going to the back he saw his favorite person. It was Jackie and she always knew what he needed.

“Hey Jackie, how’s it hangin?”

Jackie smiled at Inuyasha. The colorful rainbow glazed spiked black hair was cut in a pixie style and the small Hawaiian native looked more like a crazy boy then a girl. Wearing a big white t-shirt advertising the company ‘Wave Runners’ and a pair of flowered blue men’s swimming trunks with thongs she fit the part of a serious surf freak like Inuyasha.

Jackie was the best board carver in the area and being another wolf demon they could speak in any tongue in slang. Inuyasha loved it and it had been a while since he had seen her. She had been off on some stupid family vacation for a week and no one knew what he wanted like Jackie did.

“It is busy as hell dog, what do you think? I have been off for a week and look at this place. It is like they think they can just leave my shop in chaos dude. So what’s it going to be this time? You want to glide or rip? You are a big wave rider so I think I have just the thing. I have a big gun right here that I have been working on. I just finished it yesterday.”

Inuyasha looked at the board. It was perfect.

“This is just what I was looking for. Damn girl, you know how to make them.”

Jackie smiled a bit and then turned to look at the couple coming in. Her jaw dropped at Inuyasha’s female mate.

“Dude I think I am in love. Who is that with your anal bro?”

Inuyasha smirked.

“Oh, that is our Megan. She is mated to both me and Sess. She isn’t into boarding either and don’t push Jackie even if she is hot. My big bro will kick anyone’s ass that gets too close. She is a cat demon and likes water Jackie. It is weird, but we got over it a long time ago.”

Jackie smacked Inuyasha.

“Not all cats hate water you freak with ears! Introduce me before I change my mind on the board.”

Megan was shoved forward by Inuyasha who didn’t want to lose his big gun. It was a fine board and would not only rip, but glide the way he wanted it to plus Jackie would torment him not ever making a board for him again letting that idiot Neil who thought he knew boards make his. That would so suck.

The board Jackie was making was perfect since Inuyasha wasn’t into cutting the waves like most of the wave rippers, he wanted to actually ride them or Jackie wouldn’t sell it to him at all since she too was into the religious experience of feeling the waves not killing them plus a good board.

“Megan, meet Jackie the best board carver in the known world.”

Jackie blushed a bit at the compliment whacking Inuyasha in the arm and Megan smiled.

“Hi. It is nice to meet you Jackie. Inuyasha raves about you all the time. We have to fly out here he says to get the best boards since he won’t buy them from anywhere else or anyone else.”

Jackie then looked up at Sesshoumaru who decided to but in for a moment.

“Yes, so now that Megan met Jackie we can leave. Inuyasha you know we have things we want to do with you too besides shopping. I will not ‘hang’ out here forever with you so you can talk over your obsessions with this wolf all day long.”

Jackie frowned and looked at Inuyasha who shrugged at his brother shaking his head in irritation.

“Is he always this anal?”

Inuyasha smiled.

“Yes always. So you want to come with us since I haven’t seen you in like forever? We are going to the club tonight.”

Jackie smiled since she did have some time free and liked to torment Sesshoumaru as much as Inuyasha did. It was fun to see that guy frown like he did, plus the hot woman they were with was worth the time to chill with these dogs.

“Sure. I think I can hang.”

Sesshoumaru frowned at this, but he would allow Inuyasha to bring the wolf girl. It wasn’t like they were going to be looking tonight for private time. It was a night to let Inuyasha loose to do as he wanted to for a change and this way Megan also got her wandering out of her system.

“Yes you must come with us. It will be a blast.”

Megan stated piping up happy to have someone as cool looking as Jackie come with them. Jackie blushed again as her dark eyes about popped out of her head when Megan touched her shoulder. Inuyasha smirked knowing what Jackie was thinking, but it wasn’t gonna happen.

“Don’t get too excited Jackie. Sesshoumaru isn’t in a sharing mood. However, I may be able to persuade him if you wouldn’t mind being my date for this evening? What do you say?”

Jackie hit Inuyasha in the arm.

“You smell you jerk so why the fuck would I wanna date you? But for Megan here I will put up with your stupid ass so hell ya. Count me in.”

Inuyasha took that as a good sign.

“I will be back in three hours. Got to go do other stuff for a while, but be ready because my Royal pain of a mate waits for no one.”

Inuyasha and Jackie said goodbye with a quick hang loose dude. Inuyasha was smiling from ear to ear. He liked Jackie a lot and knowing she was bi it wouldn’t bother her one bit if they did PDA at the club. This was going to be a great night and Jackie knew so much shit about surfing. She was the one who hooked him in and Inuyasha felt like he was going to hang with his three best friends. It was just getting Sesshoumaru to get the board out of his ass and all would be bliss again. But, of course, that could take all night.
