chapter 7
"Inuyasha you should go and comfort Kagome about the situation." Miroku said. Inuyasha understood well enough even though he hated having to try and comfort her, he followed her scent until he found her sitting quietly on a log.
"Hey..."
"Listen Kagome I don't know whether that really was your cousin or not, but we'll figure something out. Knowing Naraku he's just using her for his own purposes."
"Inuyasha I almost killed my cousin. For what? She's taunting me, like Sesshomaru does with you. Yea I know my cousin and I don't get along all that well we fight like cats and dogs. But she's still my cousin, what could Naraku possibly want with her?"
"Do you think its possible that Naraku might have a weak spot, and that weak spot is your cousin?"
Kagome looked up at Inuyasha a shocked look on her face. "No!"
"It was just a thought Kagome."
"My cousin wouldn't get involved like that, although she is known for being a slut."
"isn't that a little harsh Kagome?" Sango asked as she came to check on the two of them.
"Perhaps... I know that's not nice to speak about your own family like that but..."

Sesshomaru watched the girl carefully as she settled down for the night amongst the fire. Sesshomaru could tell she was human, she had a similar scent to her as Kagome that girl traveling with Inuyasha. She also had a small scent of Naraku on her as well.
"Master Sesshomaru that girl is human correct?" Jaken asked.
"That she is."
"Why does she have the scent of Naraku lingering on her then?"
"Probably because she's a carrier."
"A carrier you don't mean she's carrying Naraku's offspring."
"No, I don't smell that type of scent on her. He tried yet failed temporaily he'll try again with her at a later time no doubt."
"He hasn't offically mated with her yet."
"No he has not."
"Master Sesshomaru..."
"Jaken don't even suggest or make a comment on what you're about to say. Or I will slice you down right now without waking the girls."
Jaken quickly shut his mouth. Sesshomaru got up and peered at the girl's sleeping body more carefully. "Heh what good would she be?"
"You'd get rid of Rin my lord."
"I don't recall asking you Jaken."
"Well um it would hurt Naraku's ego if you did Master Sesshomaru. If you'd like I can tak Rin off your hands for a while tomorrow so you can."
"That wont be necessary. I have no interest in her, only to know why Naraku wants her to bare his children so bad. Once I know that then maybe I'll think about it."
"Yes my lord."
"Hey..."
