Android Seventeen travels back in time

**groan** This started out decently, then descended into almost irredeemable rubbish. The basic idea remains, but the silly OCs have been removed. This is 1-2 years old, and my writing has improved markedly. Some names have changed, too. Kibito-kai is now KibitoShin, and King Yamma is now Enma Daio.

Battlefield 1542

Chapter XI: Off Target

Eito felt his grasp on the time machine falter, his fingertips slipping off of the polished yellow aluminum of its frame. He looked over his shoulder at his brother down on the rock-covered rooftop, Ivan's look of frustrated anger dissolving into pure horror. The younger sibling of General Ivan was about to fall to his death, because Vegeta and Bulma's time machine was climbing dangerously high. Lacking his heat-sinking ushanka, Ivan nevertheless disregarded his own pain, and his blue aura burst around him as he drew upon his power. He leapt into the air and hovered underneath the rising aircraft, holding his arms out in preparation for Eito's fall.

The Russian android recoiled in surprise as a pasty-blue sphere of light exploded around the time machine's form. Vegeta locked eyes with the airborne Ivan below, frowned, then slammed his fist down on the time machine's launch button. As the pain of untold thousands of knives stabbed at General Ivan's insides, Eito lost his grip, cried out, and fell. His brother braced for the sudden weight of the aerial catch, but it never came. Both Eito and the time machine, separate yet bound by a single sphere of temperal mechanics, disappeared into absolute nothingness, leaving empty air to fall into Ivan's arms. The outlines of the two absent bodies of matter shimmered in the air and disappeared as Ivan landed on the rooftop, crashing down onto his knees. A small stream of transparent blood ran from his nose and red smoke wafted up from the inside of his collar. Fighting off the shredding sensation that tore around underneath his skin, he turned around to survey the area where Eito had been last.

He was gone.

With no method of time travel at his disposal and great, wrenching sadness, Ivan realized that Eito was gone forever. He punched the ground with both fists and screamed out.

"Eito! You goddamn....stupid....motherfucking idiot!"

He squeezed his eyes shut and tears fell freely, the salty droplets falling and disappearing in the thick cloth of his uniform. Eighteen and Eito were all he had. His entire existence was focused around those two. His years with the Japanese Self-Defense Force were all just a front; the whole time he was watching over his brother and sister. Now, what was he to do?

"Hey now, don't cry" a smooth, soft, and reassuring voice commanded.

Ivan jerked his head up and looked across the rooftop to see an odd, white-haired man standing on the other side. With long, flowing white hair, light-purple skin, glossy black eyes, and pointed ears, he wore a red vest suit and an orange sash around his waist, with sky-blue pants and shirt. He was smiling heartily, and Ivan simply couldn't hold onto his anger. The android stood up and as a precaution, placed a hand on the grip of the assault rifle slung over his shoulder.

"Who are you?" he asked.

The man jolted a bit, chuckled, then bowed respectfully.

"General Ivan, I am known as Kibito-kai, and I am a Kaioshin."

Ivan turned his head slightly and pushed his ushanka up his forehead a bit.

"Kaioshin, eh? I'm not an expert on religious lore, but a Kaioshin is supposed to be some big-ass god that oversees everything. No offense, but you look like ground zero of an albino-bomb."

"Ah, I do, but that does not change my position. I have news for you that concerns your brother."

"You will not be telling him anything, Kai." another voice commanded.

Both Kibito-kai and General Ivan veered their eyes upward to see another man, floating fifty feet up, also with long, flowing white hair. He had waved magenta stripes on either cheek, a violet crescent moon in the center of his forehead, and the same pointed ears of the Kai. However, he wore a pair of blue jeans and a white shirt with an equally white jacket, almost making him appear human.

"Sesshoumaru!" the deity yelped.

The youkai lord dropped down to the roof and landed midway between the Kai and the Ivan, his feet lightly tapping on the ground in the process. With his hands shoved deep into his pockets, Sesshoumaru's amber eyes locked squarely on Kibito-kai's, his gaze commanding and serious.

"You will not be tipping Ivan off, Kai. King Yamma is adamantly opposed to all time travel, not to mention he is most displeased with your violation of heavenly law."

Kibito-kai frowned at this.

"But if Yamma knows about what Old Kai and I are going to do, he must surely know why we're going to do it!"

"That is true. However, it is irrelevant. You shall not pass me."

The chattering clack of a disturbed charging handle broke the two silver-haired adversaries from their argument. Sesshoumaru turned around to see General Ivan with his AK-47 pulled snugly into his shoulder and ready to fire.

"Tell me what, who the fuck are you supposed to be?"

Sesshoumaru smiled slightly.

"General Ivan, your resemblance to Eito is simply riotous."

Ivan moved his trigger finger off of the trigger guard of his rifle and placed it over that dangerous little lever, giving the slightest muscle twitch a chance to end a life.

"I'm not in a good mood, jackass. If I don't get answers quick, somebody, you or the Kai over there, is going to get dead.

Kibito-kai sensed Ivan's energy kick up a gigawatt. It wasn't much of a signal, but it was enough to lock onto. The fused deity hunkered down, grinned at the unsuspecting Sesshoumaru, and touched two fingers to the center of his forehead. In a flash, he disappeared from his position and reappeared right next to General Ivan. Sesshoumaru's eyes widened slightly as his brain registered the fact the the Kai was no longer behind him and was actually right in front of him, waving goodbye with a knowing smile on his lavender face. Before the demon lord could utter a word, the Kai touched the back of his free hand to one of Ivan's shoulders, waved a mocking goodbye, and in a teleportative flash, both he and the android vanished into empty air.
