A/N:Thanks for reading my first story.There will be some character deaths later in the story and I plain to make it a long one.There are many original characters in this story. This will be the only story I will be working on for the time being, so that it can get my full dedication.Please review, be honest but not harsh.

"Did you find out?" Bo 'Rai Cho looked anxious.

"No, but almost."

"What the hell happened? You took forever and found out nothing." Bo 'Rai Cho was upset, he thought he would finally know the truth.

Sesshomaru's temper came out."I waited in that castle all damn day to do you a favor and now you catch attitude with me. Maybe I should leave and let you deal with your own problems." Sesshomaru was about to leave when his friend spoke out.
"Sesshomaru I am deeply sorry for my words. It's just that for two long years I have waited for the day that I would know for sure. I thought that day was today. I am not upset with you and was wrong to talk to you in such a manner.I will deserve it if you go, but as your friend I wish for you to at least forgive me. I can't stand the thought of you being pissed at me, you are my only true friend and I know how you can hold a grudge. So will you please forgive me."

The look on Sesshomaru's face was cold but his words were not if it had been anyone else he would have just walked away without another thought. "All is forgotten brother,but don't let it happen again. I had almost had forgotten that you could get easily upset if things don't go your way. That still doesn't make up for it though, so you will owe me one as an apology."

" Brother, I deserve your anger and will make it up to as you wish . It's just that I thought I would finally know. So what happened in there?" Sesshomaru told him the story. " I can't explain it, but it was as if she could feel my presence every time I moved. Which at first lead me to believe she could be your grandaughter. Only I didn't smell the sent of demon coming off of her, but it was not a regular mortal smell either. I've never smelt anything like her. Of course I didn't see the mark either."

"Well Maybe that's because her mother was no regular mortal she had the gift of sight and could tell the outcome of any event you pleased. Let me give you some background info so you will understand more brother. My son told me little about her. I know he had met her two years before his death and that for one of those years they were just good friends. All he told me about her was that her name was Zion and he had fallen in love with her. He said every part of him belonged to her and in return she belonged to him, eventhough she was in a forced union with a king named Tabis. I tried to tell him it would cause him nothing but trouble to be with her and that if he really wanted a mortal there was plenty,but he would not listen to reason. So I hoped he had just wanted to see what it was like to be with a mortal and that she was just a faze. For my son had been with many women, but would use them only for his vast appetite for sex and then discard them the next morning. He told me she was different and worth any kind of trouble and that was it, he had made up his mind that he would be with her and only her for the rest of his life. That was all he would say before telling me if I didn't except it he would no longer talk to me. So through my investigating I found out that Zion was the only child of a notorious warlord named Naman. He used her ability against her will to tell the outcome of every battle as to make sure he was always victorious. If she stated otherwise he would refuse the battle. Many men coveted her for her gift, but when they saw her it was like two gifts in one for she was very beautiful. Many men tried to take her but had no luck. That is how the king first heard of her. His plan was to kidnap her and use her gifts to his advantage. He sent his most skilled ninjas to snatch her up and bring her to him, but when he saw her, her gift was no longer an issue, it was love at first sight and he forced her to marry him. She repeatedly told him she had no feelings for him, but he loved her anyway. She had warned her father of these events but he took no heed.She also told him if he came after her he would be killed. In fear of his own life he did not try to get her back."
Sesshomaru cut in." Why didn't she just leave and why didn't she warn Hayate about his fate?"

" She tried to get away many times but was always caught. The last time she tried is when she met my son,but of course she got caught again. Tabis told her if she tried to runaway again he would kill her only friend, a servant in his castle. He knew Zion would not let that happen and that his servant was to scared to try and run with her. So she stayed with him for that girl's life, but continued to see my son. She was secretly planing to get her friend out and then leave with Hayate when she had her vision. I know that she had warned my son of the danger she saw coming, but he told her not to worry that he would be fine. She told him to leave and she would finish her plan to get her friend out and then find him, as soon as she could get away herself. He told her he would not leave her no matter what."

Sesshomaru cut in again"Why did Hayate not just kill the king and take her?"
" At first he wanted to of course, but Zion did not want blood on his hands on her account she said it would come back on him 3 times fold. She kept pleading with him to leave but he would not.So she tried to tell me.I asked what exactly would happen she said she could not tell exactly but she knew he was in danger. I told her my boy could handle himself. How I wish I would have listened. I know that when demon childern are born they retain some of there parent's powers. So Maybe mortals with abilities also pass them to their offspring. Damn, I can wait no longer I must know if she is mine." Bo 'Rai Cho looked over at his friend who was staring up at something. He looked to see what it was that had his friend so spaced out. It was Jade who had come out on her balcony to get some fresh air. He could see why Sesshomaru was staring at her, her beuatiful long hair and gown were lightly blowing in the wind, cherry blossom petals swirled all around her and the way the moonlight was shining on her skin it looked like it was glowing, she looked so heavenly. "Sesshomaru she looks like an angel doesn't she?" Sesshomaru quickly stopped staring. "I don't know what you are talking about. I was not looking at her I was in deep thought and just happened to be looking that way." Sesshomaru was very good at hiding his feelings, but his friend was not fooled. " So you do not think she is beautiful?"

"No, she is average and looks human to me. I could never be attracted to a human. If she is your grandaughter she is half demon but she is still half human. It makes me sick to think of a demon even thinking of touching a human. " His face was filled with disgust ,but deep inside he knew he was smitten with her. From the first time he laid eyes on her he could not get her off his mind. No matter how much he wanted to deny it he wanted her. She truthfully was magnificent.

"Alright if you say so. Remember your father sure did fall for one. I think Jade is the most beuatiful thing I have ever seen even if she is not my kin." Bo 'Rai Cho looked back up at her.

"My father was a fool. I am not him and could never do such a thing." He looked back up at her, but she was no longer alone. A man now stood next to her. They seemed to be having a conversation."Who the hell is that Bo 'Rai Cho?"

"That is the kings son Zane. He and Jade often have nightly talks, because they don't get to see each other much through out the day. He first goes to see Mioko and then comes to talk to her. They often talk about what they have done in the day. Then he will tell her about his travels. See Jade has never left the castle grounds, so he tells her all about the far off places he has been. We should listen to hear what they are saying."

I find it very interesting, becuase I got the name from a video game character who uses drunkin style fighting techinques. So now I see that his name fits his fighting style.
