Trouble makers

Both fell to the ground, Frewin jumping back up in a flash over his brother. He swore under his breath as he looked over at the person who attacked them.

“Run Shet!”

The youkai turned and obeyed, but before he could get much far, they heard an incantation being said. Frewin’s eyes widened and he jumped in front of Shetaro, who’d looked back to see what was going on. Frewin slashed at something that was going by him and the rest attacked Shetaro. When the light that flashed was gone, InuYasha’s eyes narrowed in anger as he saw a necklace simular to his around Shetaro’s neck, but where his was white, Shetaro’s was black and it was blue where InuYasha’s was black. Two beads were clearly missing, and when he looked over at Frewin, he could see something looking like armlets on his wrists of the same blue color as the two missing beads in Shetaro’s necklace.

“You fool! Why did you have to protect him!” shouted the same feminine voice.

Shetaro narrowed his eyes and growled.

“Alright, that’s it! No more pitty for the weak!”

He jumped up in the air and slashed at a hut, which happened to be empty, with some sort of ice darts and a figure jumped away from the roof. A young woman now stood before them, as blonde as Frewin with piercing green eyes. And the garment she wore clearly resembled the ones of a priestess.

“Who are you and what do you want?” asked InuYasha, ready to attack if she even looked to try and hurt the two pups again.

“I am the priestess Maya, of the main continent, and I wish for that foul demon to give me back my brother!”

InuYasha looked back to see Frewin snorting and Shetaro rolling his eyes.

“How many times do we have to tell you? I am not your brother, I don’t even come from the same region as you onna!”

The priestess’ lips became a thin line as she looked over at Shetaro. He moved up and prepared to attack. Seeing that, Maya smiled.

“Freeze!”

Shetaro fell to his knees and Frewin found himself with his wrists going to getter, the armlets sticking to each other.

“What the?!” exclaimed both Sehtaro and Frewin at the sane time.

The priestess Maya smiled and took a step forward. InuYasha movced in her path, taking out his sword.

“I don’t know what you’re playing, but you wont touch either of them,” he growled.

The woman looked at him before snorting.

“An hanyou? How discusting. Do you not know how inpure the world is with such a kind as you?”

InuYasha was taken aback by the harsh words, but he soon recovered and his lips pulled back in a snarl.

“Do you want to see how much it hurts to say bull shit about people? I’ll even be gentle on you and kill you right away so you don’t get to suffer.”

The woman snorted and moved her hand up to her lips.

“Power of the wind, I commant you to move aside this nuicense!”

A strong gust of wind rose and threw InuYasha to the side, making him slam into Miroku. The wind didn’t stop there, it moved of it’s own accord and pushed anyone that was close to Shetaro away, out of priestess Maya’s path. The woman starts to make her way slowly towards the frozen in place youkai, who can only glare at her. After just two steps, someone got in her way, and she stopped immediately.

Frewin stood in front of her, wrists together and glaring fully at her.

“How many times do we have to tell you? I am not your brother! And if you dare touch Shetaro, I’ll make you regret it even more then you can ever imagine.”

“Do not worry, little brother. I will save you from them. They might have corrupted your young mind, but we’ll put everything back as it should be. And I’m sure we can find a village back in our home country who will accept us with them. They might even help us look for those of our village who ran after it was destroyed.”

As she reached forward to touch Frewin’s cheek, he moved back and kicked up at her. Maya moved back and looked at the teenager with surprised eyes. She then shot a glare to Shetaro, who was smirking.

“Looks like he still doesn’t like you, wench.”

Maya glared and pushed Frewin away so she could continue towards the youkai. As she was just about to hit him with her fist, a wall of ice rose up right in front of Shetaro and made her yelp in pain as she hit it. The ice melted away and everyone was shocked to find Yamasso right there, standing in front of his son.

“Did they not tell you to leave?” he asked a bit too coldly to be on the safe side.

Even Frewin shivered at the tone.

“You! You’re the one to blame! I’ll kill you, you filty demon!”

Yamsso raised one eyebrow before he disappeared only to reappear behind Maya, hitting her behind the head and knocking her out. That seemed to free Frewin and Shetaro, who both growled. Yamasso looked down at the woman at his feet then at his two pups.

“Are you both alright?”

“We’ll live. Can’t we just kill her now? I’m sick and tired of her always showing up out of nowhere to try and kidnap me,” answered Frewin.

“No, you can definitly not. I have already told you the reason for that.”

“Yeah, but she doesn’t seem to get it that you’re the one who lets her live. She always thinks it’s me.”

“Deal with it.”

Yamasso turned over to look at InuYasha and he sighed when he saw the look in the hanyou’s face.

“Explanation?”

“Damn better have a good one at that too.”

“This young fool lost her village to an attack of youkai. We got there the next day when we were traveling and it so happened she had a brother the age of Frewin and that looked alot like him, but she’s delirious. We even saw her bury his body, yet she refuses to let gop of the idea that he might still be alive, henche the chasing around and the growing hatred of other miko from Frewin.”

“Then why don’t you just kill her?” asked InuYasha.

“Yeah!” exclaimed Frewin with a huge smile.

“Because she needs to find herself, and it so happens that I will not kill an innocent just because you can’t stand her. The both of you.”

InuYasha and Frewin glared at Yamasso, who looked down again before sighing.

“I have to be on my way. I suppose I could carry her to another village and ask them to take care of her...”

“Why not just drop her off a cliff?” asked gently Shetaro, earning himself a glare from his father.

“I will not. Now, bth behave for I will be busier then normal for the next few weeks. I wont be able to come help you even if you’re in a death situation. Understood?”

Both pups nodded before InuYasha decided to cut in.

“How about asking your mate to come and take care of them if they get in trouble? That should teach them to be more responsible.”

The venom was clearly there when InuYasha had said mate, but Yamasso ignored it and smiled.

“That is a great idea! Thank you so much InuYasha. Well, I’ll be on my way now.”

Yamasso placed another kiss on InuYasha’s cheek before disappearing.
