Chapter 6
Reunited
InuYasha stopped and looked down at Kagome. “Is everything alright?”
“Yes just a bit dizzy, but I’ll get over it.”
“Are you sure?”
“Hai, of course I am, don’t worry so much. It’s not good for you, you’ll get wrinkles. Haha. Hatchi!!!” Kagome let out a loud sneeze.
“I’m just worrying because...I’m worried, is that so strange?”
”From you? Hai. At first you couldn’t care what I did or how I felt and now you’re worried about me all the time.” Kagome said as she giggled a little.
“That’s because you never been as bad as this.” *And because this time it is my fault* InuYasha thought.
“Don’t worry I’ll take another aspirin. You know, Souta was sick the other day and my mother drove him to the doctor. When he got out of the car his face was yellow and green. So bad did he felt.”
”What are you trying to say?” InuYasha didn’t really understand what she was talking about.
”Well that I’m probably the same colors when we have found the other and that you shouldn’t get all worked up about it. Okay?”
“Yes okay, come on let’s keep going.”
Kagome felt being rocked asleep by the rhythm of InuYasha’s jumps. He noticed but didn’t mind because in this way he would be able to go faster without having to worry about her. All of a sudden he stopped dead in his tracks. He smelled something, it was the scent of Shippo, the scent of his blood. *Oh no, am I to late, are they dead already?* But he didn’t smell the blood of the others so there was still hope. The scent led to a cave. He walked in to stop in front of a wooden wall. He knocked on it but no-one answered.
“Hey open up!” InuYasha yelled.
He heard someone shuffle over the floor on the other side of the wall.
“Open up, I know you’re there!” he shouted again.
“InuYasha?” he heard the voice of Shippo asking.
“Yeah it’s me, now open that damn door!”
Slowly the door opened and there they where. All three of them Shippo, Sango and Miroku alive and kicking. He didn’t want to admit it but he was happy to see them alive. He walked in and Miroku closed the door behind him. Sango looked at him with an asking expression on her face. “Where is Kagome?” She asked.
“Oh she’s here” He just said.
The others got worried because they hadn’t seen Kagome outside. “You haven’t left her in the snow did you?” The three of them began to scream.
“Keh, no of course not. Shippo do you have something soft and warm here like a blanket?”
“No we haven’t, but I have the fur of my father.”
“That’s okay spread it out a little would you.”
Shippo did as he was told by InuYasha. He spread the fur of his father on the ground near the small fire they had made. *We can be lucky that we had a shelter in that hut. Here it’s far more colder then there. Kagome wouldn’t have survived.* InuYasha thought with a grim on his face.
“Why do you need that for InuYasha?”
“Well I don’t want to lay Kagome on a cold floor, it’s not good for her.”
“...?” Sango, Shippo and Miroku looked at him puzzled.
InuYasha walked over to the fur and opened his cloak. He turned his back to the others and tried to wake Kagome. “Hey, wake up.” He placed a little kiss on her forehead and her eyes opened. She shivered, it was cold but when she was asleep it didn’t trouble her, now it did. She got closer to InuYasha to get a little warmer. He laid her on the blanket and started to look in the backpack for a cup. But the first thing he found in the backpack where Kagome’s clothes. *Damn she should have been wearing that already, with clothes it would have been a lot warmer for her. He shouldn’t have put them in the backpack when they where dry. Damn.* He picked the clothes out and turned back to Kagome. “I have your clothes here, you wanna wear them?”
“Y-yes, i-it’s so cold.” She gladly accepted the clothes he handed over to her.
He looked at Shippo and Miroku. “Turn around you two.” He said to the two.
“You better turn around too, InuYasha have you forgotten your a man too?” Sango wanted to push him away but he stand firm. “I got her out of those clothes, and you’re saying I can’t get her into them?”
“Exactly. Well you heard me, move.” Sango told InuYasha. But he didn’t plan on leaving Kagome alone, Sango’s body was cold but his was warm and Kagome needed that warmth.
“I-it’s o-okay Sango.” A small voice from by the fire stopped their arguing. “D-don’t w-worry it’s true he g-got me out of them.” And she looked sharply at InuYasha.
InuYasha got closer to Kagome making sure Miroku wouldn’t be able to have a peak. He didn’t care that much about Shippo, so he unwrapped the blanket a little. “Shippo? Can you give me a hand?” He asked the little fox.
“Hey, why can he help and watch and I have to stay here? That’s not fair.” Miroku complained.
“Well that’s because he isn’t a pervert like you. He’s just a little kid, he isn’t in the way and he’s warm.” Was the simple explanation of InuYasha. “Has anyone some pair of trousers? She needs one her skirt is to short.”
“You can use this.” Sango gave one of her reserves.
When they finally had Kagome packed up. They sad down to talk about what had happened the past few days. InuYasha told them that Kagome nearly died of the cold and that he wanted to take her down to her time so she could get better. “And in expectation for her return we can finish of this Youkai.”
“But that means we have to leave her and come back later. Meanwhile the Youkai can get more shards. Even if we don’t take long.”
“Feh, is that all you can think of? Our main concern is to get Kagome better. Isn’t it? I can take him anyway.” InuYasha replied sharply.
“Of course Kagome is our first concern. Miroku-sama you know that we can kill the Youkai later. We had it worse.” Sango joined the conversation.
“Eh, well I..eh was just thinking out loud.” Miroku mumbled.
“You shouldn’t. Save your strength for other things.” This conversation was getting out of hand. InuYasha and Miroku sat opposite each other and started to argue.
“Can you be a little more quit?” Kagome sounded from the other side of the fire. “I-i’m tired and want to sleep but you keep me awake.”
InuYasha stood up and walked over to her. He made sure she was covered with their blanket and that she wasn’t touching the ground.
“Are you warm enough?” But without waiting for an answer he laid next to her, so he would be sure she was warm enough. The others looked from their places and where surprised, but they didn’t spent much attention to it because they where all tired. Soon they all where asleep.

Sorry for the short chapter I promise next one will be better. Don't really have time to get it on now
its 0.40 am and it's my BIRTHDAY !!! :D Jeej finally 21 lol. Now I'm suppost to be an adult :P
I'm going to sleep cause when I wake up it mean breakfast in bed and.... Presents :D !!!!
