Personal Issues


Two Months Later

Kagome had moved in with Sesshomaru and Rin had moved in with Sango and Kohaku. Everything was going fine for Kagome and the baby since Kagome refused to leave her side for now. Sesshomaru stayed home from school as well and watched them sleep and made sure they were safe while he made different arrangements for Sakura. Kagome lay in their bed now sleep with Sakura sleeping against her. Sesshomaru walked in and walked toward the closet he had to go and meet with his father. Kagome woke up when he turned on the shower and eased from the bed. She walked into the bathroom and took off her clothes and walked into the shower. Sesshomaru turned and pulled her to him, he grabbed her ass and lifted her into the air. Kagome automatically wrapped her arms legs around her waist. Sesshomaru claimed her lips in a passionate kiss and thrust deep into her causing Kagome to moan in pleasure.

They had just got a steady rhythm going when Sakura began to cry. They leaned against the wall of the shower frustrated. Sesshomaru eased out of her and set her back on her feet. Kagome left the shower and walked into their bedroom and picked up Sakura. She cradled her until she feel asleep again, then laid her back on the bed and went back to the shower were Sesshomaru stood letting the water run down his body. Kagome winced when the cold water hit her skin. Sesshomaru turned and she pulled him into a kiss. Kagome turned from the sight and glared at the stuff in the closet as she pulled out her clothes. She slung the clothes over her arm before turning to take Sakura so Sesshomaru could dress. He handed her Sakura and smiled slightly when Sakura whimpered and reached out to him.

Kagome put her in his arms and walked out the room. She went across the hall to the room she had all her stuff in. she pulled on a black bikini bathing suit top and black thong underwear. She pulled on a black shorts that stopped an inch pass her ass and a short hoodie that stopped in the middle of her stomach. She grabbed her bag and put a towel and sun glasses in the bag and walked back into the room. She packed Sakura’s little swim suit and went to get Sakura who was playing with Sesshomaru’s fingers. Kagome pulled all Sakura’s stuff from the bag and threw it on the bed.

“I’m leaving.”

“You have to take Sakura I have a meeting with my father.”

“Take her with you.”

“I can’t.”

“Why?”

“It’s a business meeting, Kagome. Can you just take her and we talk about this later.”

Kagome took Sakura and threw her bag on the bed. Walking from the room Kagome ignored Sesshomaru when he moved to kiss her before she left. She wrapped Sakura tightly in a thin blue blanket then in a thick pink blanket. She walked out into the crisp air and pulled Sakura tight to her body. She walked into the garage and took the key for the Lamborghini she knew that Sesshomaru would look for it when he came out to the garage even if he wasn’t going to take it. She strapped Sakura’s chair into the passenger side seat and climbed behind the wheel. She pulled from the garage with a squeal of brakes. She went toward the one place Sesshomaru didn’t know about. She went to the house buried deep in the woods around the shrine. Her mother didn’t know about Sakura, but Kagome was going to fix that right now. She parked the car and took Sakura from her chair.

Walking up to the shrine Kagome unlocked the door and walked inside. She couldn’t believe what she saw. Her mother was laying across the couch being fucked by Inuyasha. He looked up at her and smirked as he continued to fuck her mother. Kagome turned and left the house. She gripped Sakura tighter as threw up in the grass. After, throwing up as much as she could Kagome went and put Sakura in her chair, then got behind the wheel and left as fast as she could. She drove and drove until she couldn’t stand it and went home. She put Sakura in her crib next to their bed and left the room she walked to the very end of the hallway and slipped into one of the guest beds. Sleep drifted over and she closed her eyes. Sesshomaru had went to his meeting and walking to his bedroom when Sakura began to cry. He rushed into the room an saw that Kagome was no where to be seen. He picked Sakura up and sat on the bed cradling her, but she didn’t stop crying she just screamed louder.

He was at a loss of what to do and since Kagome seemed to had disappeared he was alone. He told a servant to bring him a bottle for the baby and was shocked when the servant said that Kagome hadn’t made any bottles for Sakura since last week. He handed Sakura to the servant and told them to quiet her. The servant hummed gently as she rocked Sakura gently. Sakura quieted and reached out for Sesshomaru. The servant handed her to him and was dismissed. Kagome lay in the other room sleep her dreams troubled and painful. She was dreaming about the shower she had took with Sesshomaru a few hours ago. It had been the perfect time for him to mark her and yet he didn’t. Even when Sakura stayed with Rin and Kohaku he would fuck her, but he never marked her and Kagome was having problems with the ‘Mikos’ which was Kikyo’s gang and she hadn’t had time to come up with a plan or anything and that was going to change.

Kagome woke up with a start and walked from the room, she walked out to the garage and hopped on her bike uncaring of how Sesshomaru was fairing with Sakura. She had sensed his aura in the room, but was hiding her own. She started the engine and took off toward Bankotsu’s house. She arrived twenty minutes later and knocked, waiting a few minutes Bankotsu opened the door. He moved so she could come in. Kagome saw all his male friends were over and were hanging out, she turned to leave. Bankotsu grabbed her arm though and shook his head. He lead her to his room so they could talk.

“What’s wrong Kags?”

“Nothing.”

“Don’t lie to me. What’s wrong?”

“Sesshomaru still hasn’t marked me yet and it’s been two months since I had Sakura. All he does is deal with his gang and go to meetings with other gangs and his father. Sakura always smiles and giggles for him, she reaches for him, but I can’t even get a smile. My own daughter hates me and I can’t concentrate on anything.”

Since Kagome had fought her mother something had made her become more emotional then usual. Kagome stood and walked toward the door. Bankotsu stopped her by putting his hand on her shoulder.

“You know you can stay here Kags if you don’t want to go home.”

“Thanks Ban I’ll stay here tonight but don’t tell Sesshomaru. I don’t feel like dealing with any more emotions then I have to.”

“Bankotsu got himself a booty call tonight.”

Bankotsu felt Kagome tensed under his hand. He turned to his friends.

“You remember I told you about my gang leader, Kagome?”

“Yea, so?”

“This is her and she’s in a bad mood if you want to live to see tomorrow I’d think before I speak.”

Kagome could smell the fear coming off of them in waves now and she walked toward them. She looked them over and liked the one in the middle. He had long dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She moved so that she stood in front of his chair and pushed him back. His eyes roamed over her body boldly and he smiled lightly. Kagome straddled his waist and pressed her body against his loving the feel of his rock hard muscles under his shirt. Kagome leaned into him letting her lips tease his before she pressed her lips to his in a kiss. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pressed her body closer and licked her bottom lip asking for entrance, which she granted him. His tongue brushed lightly over hers and across her teeth causing Kagome to shiver slightly. Kagome pulled away from him and stood she walked over to Bankotsu, who was staring at her wide eyed.

“I’m going to Club Y.O.U.K.A.I., you wanna come?”

“You guys wanna go?”

But, they already were waiting by the door making Bankotsu smirk. He grabbed his coat and they left. Kagome took her bike and Bankotsu took his truck with everyone else ridding with him. They arrived at the club in ten minutes and walked inside. Kagome walked into the middle of the dance floor and began to dance. In minutes she had two guys dancing with her, one in the front and one in the back. She was moving with the beat easily and wanted something faster. Kagome stopped dancing and went to find Bankotsu who was leaning against the bar. She pulled his drink from his hand and sat it down then pulled him out on to the dance floor. The song they were dancing to was a nice song to dance to, not to slow, but not to fast. Kagome and Bankotsu and the others danced for hours leaving an hour before the club closed for the night. Kagome was back on her bike and heading toward Bankotsu’s house, they pulled up to see Sesshomaru leaning against his car waiting on them. He had Sakura wrapped in a blanket in his arms, she was looking around with wide eyes.

“Where have you been Kagome?”

“Why? Do you all of a sudden give a fuck?”

“What are you talking about?”

“I’m talking about you never having time to do anything , but go to meetings, fuck me, and go to sleep.”

“I spend time with you and Sakura, Kagome.”

“Lying to me isn’t going to get you any where with me Sess… Sesshomaru.”

Kagome stumbled slightly, her drinking finally catching up to her.

“Have you been drinking?”

“Why?”

“Have you or have you not been drinking?”

“None of your business.”

Kagome walked pass him with the help of Bankotsu and went inside to lay down her head spinning. She threw up in the toilet once before climbing into Bankotsu’s bed and falling asleep. Sesshomaru walked in and laid Sakura on Kagome’s chest and picked her up and left while Bankotsu was throwing up. Kagome dreamed of her mother and Inuyasha fucking in front of her and woke up with a start to find she had a headache. Sesshomaru watched her walk toward the bathroom and heared her throwing up. Kagome clung to the toilet as she threw up. She had never felt this bad after drinking no matter how much she drank and she had drank much more before. She stood and looked into the mirror over the sink. Her looked fine and felt fine other then her headache. She thought about it for a moment and sunk to the floor as tears began to fall from her eyes. She couldn’t be, not again, not this soon, not ever again. She stood on weak legs and walked from the bathroom. She went to the guest room and curled in a ball on the bed as she cried. Sesshomaru walked into the room and sat on the bed next to her. He began to rub her back gently. But, Kagome scooted away from him. He moved closer to her and again tried to rub her back but she pulled away from him.

“What’s wrong Kagome?”

“I’m pregnant again.”

“So why are you crying?”

“I don’t want it.”

“You don’t want our child?”

“No.”

“Do you want Sakura?”

“……”

“ANSWER ME, KAGOME.”

“……”

“Why don’t you want the baby?”

“I don’t want anymore children.”

“Ever or just right now?”

“By you.”

Sesshomaru didn’t know what to say. He stood and moved away from her unable to leave the room. All he could do was watch her cry, he wanted to do something, but was frozen. Had he did something to make her feel this way and if he did could he fix it? He moved back to the edge of the bed and put his hand on her side. She tried to move away from him, but he stopped her and pulled her back to him.

“What did I do to make you feel this way?”

Kagome’s voice was a weak whisper when she spoke.

“You ignored me.”

Kagome pulled her body from his touch and curled even further into a ball. She whimpered as she thought about what she was going to do. She had to deal with Kikyo’s gang the Mikos and find Naraku so she could settle her score with him. Kagome stopped her tears and steeled her emotions, tomorrow she was going back to the way she used to be cold and unemotional. With those thoughts Kagome drifted into a dreamless sleep. Sesshomaru just sat there looking at her with some unreadable emotion in his eyes. He knew she was right, he did spend all his time everywhere but with them. His eyes hardened when he thought about what she said before about not having another child by him. Tomorrow everything was going to go back to the way it was before, with that he stood and walked from the room.

Kagome awoke with hard eyes and full acceptance of what she was about to do. Walking into her and Sesshomaru’s room she walked to the closet and pulled out black leather pants and a black tube top along with a black leather jacket and nike boots. She walked into the bathroom completely ignoring Sesshomaru who was walking out the shower. Kagome took off her clothes and stepped into the shower. Sesshomaru saw Kagome walk into the bathroom through the shower door and decided to leave the bathroom. He walked out the bathroom without saying a word. He walked into the room and started dressing for school. Kagome quickly showered then stepped from the shower and put on a black strapless bra and black thong underwear. Then she pulled on her leather pants careful to keep the strings of her thong above the waist of her pants next she slipped on her tube top and boots. Looking in the mirror Kagome brushed her hair and left it down, she applied black eyeliner to her eyes and walked from the bathroom.

Picking up Sakura who was already dressed she left the room her jacket slung over her arm. She walked into the garage and grabbed the keys to her Lexus X3 and puts Sakura’s car seat in the back middle seat. After strapping Sakura in Kagome left the garage just as Sesshomaru walked in. Kagome called Sango and told her to have everyone in front of the school in half and hour no exceptions, which meant Rin and Kohaku as well. When she pulled into the parking lot her outfit caught her a lot of attention and Sakura caught even more. The gang openly said hello and smiled at Sakura who looked at them all in confusion.

“Look I’ve been going through some things lately, but that’s over now and as far as all the slacking off we’ve been doing it’s over. Tomorrow we’ll be meeting at the base to discuss our plans for dealing with the Mikos, then we will resume our hunt for Naraku’s whereabouts, do you understand?”

“Hai.”

“If you have a question step forward now.”

No one stepped forward Kagome walked toward the school and could feel all the eyes on her. When she reached the door she turned to the crowd of people. She gave them a death look that made them all look away in fear. Then, she walked into the building and toward her classes so she could talk with her teachers. Kagome walked to each class ignoring the stares she was getting. She didn’t expect or want to see Sesshomaru today but the kamis seemed to be against her in that because he saw and stopped her in the hallway in front of half the student body. Kagome snatched away from him and went to walk away when she found Sesshomaru standing in her way. Sakura began to spit and giggle when she saw him but quieted when she felt the anger rolling off him. He pent Kagome to the lockers by her throat and moved to pin her body with her own but Kagome’s left leg rested between their bodies.

“We need to talk.”

“No we don’t.”

Kagome pushed him away from her and told Sango who had just walked through the crowd to hold Sakura for her. Sango took Sakura into her arms and stepped back. Kagome took off her jacket and threw it to Sango who caught it with ease.

“Like I said we have nothing to talk about but if you ever touch me like that again in front of my daughter I’ll kill.”

“You mean our daughter, but then you didn’t want her last night so you mean my daughter.”

“I didn’t say that Sesshomaru and you know it. Besides we were never anything more then fuck buddies and the only thing that’s changed is that I’m tired of you now.”

Sesshomaru’s eyes started to bleed red, but Kagome didn’t back down in fact she took a step forward.

“Like I said we have nothing to talk about.”

Kagome turned to walk away but Sesshomaru slammed her back into the lockers leaving a huge crater. Kagome was now pissed the fuck off, she punched Sesshomaru in his chest and sent him flying into the other wall, just as Souta emerged from the crowd. He moved to get between them but Sango grabbed him.

“They have to do this or it will be worst the next time.”

Souta stopped and watched waiting for the perfect time to stop the fight. Sesshomaru and Kagome starred each other down each with their eyes starting to tint red with their anger. They both released their youki and moved to attack but Souta stepped forward and stepped them, Sakura in his arms.

“STOP THIS RIGHT NOW. Do you want Sakura to find out that her parents weren’t planning on having her and that she was a mistake?”

Kagome turned from him her eyes hard and filled with hatred. Sesshomaru just looked at him with a bored expression.

“Do either of you even love and want her?”

“I want and love my daughter, but can your sister say the same thing?”

“How dare you accuse me of not loving my daughter, the only thing I don’t love is you.”

Sesshomaru’s eyes hardened and Kagome sucked in a deep breathe, Sango and Souta just looked at her as if she had died. Sesshomaru turned and walked away from her, his body stiff with emotion. Kagome turned to Sango and Souta unable to look at him. The entire hallway was clear of people now and she was able to drop her mask. Kagome looked up with tear filled eyes. Souta pulled Kagome into a one armed hug since he held Sakura in his other arm. Sango hugged her as well as she cried for the first time for herself. Sesshomaru walked out of the school and toward the parking lot where he climbed on his bike and left.

Kagome left school as well with Sakura and went back to Sesshomaru’s house to pack all her stuff as well as Sakura’s. She had went and got a three bedroom condominium to live in. She packed and moved their stuff quickly so that Sesshomaru wouldn’t have to deal with her being there when he got home. Bankotsu, Kohaku, and Souta helped her move the boxes and stuff, while Rin and Sango watched Koharu and Sakura. Kagome was finished moving within three hours. She sank down into the brand new bed she had bought and sigh in contentment. Closing her eyes Kagome drifted off to sleep her thoughts all on Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru finally got home around nine thirty and started looking for Kagome. He saw that all her and Sakura’s stuff was gone and sat down on the edge of his bed to think.

Kagome was thankful Sakura slept through the night for once because she had been exhausted and needed the rest. After, feeding and changing Sakura, Kagome called her gang over to her new house and they got to work on a plan to deal with Kikyo, Naraku, and Inuyasha. They even came up with one to deal with Sesshomaru incase it was needed. Finally, they were done so Kagome decided to run through each plan one last time.

“In the plan to deal with Kikyo’s gang Sango what are we going to do?”

“We’re going to trick Kikyo into thinking we’ve surrendered to her and her gang before we take out her and her second in command Kagura who is madly in love with Sesshomaru as well as taking out her third in command Kanna who is in love with Miroku, Inuyasha’s best friend and second in command who is in love with me or rather my ass.”

“Good. Bankotsu what are we going to do if we need to fight Sesshomaru’s gang?”

“We’re going to infiltrate his house and take out his second in command Ken Ichijogi and his third in command Koichi Ichijogi.”

“Good and Shippou what are we going to do about Naraku and his gang?”

“We’re going to go get Souta and his gang and let you and Souta deal with Naraku while we deal with the rest of his gang. But, we are only to interfere in you and Souta’s fight with Naraku if either yourself or Souta gets hurt and is in dire need of medical attention or if Sakura and or Koharu need your protection.”

“Good now we need to go check and restock our weapons and ammo. Let’s head to the base.”

Kagome and her gang left and headed toward their base completely unaware of the fact that Naraku was watching them. He and Kikyo had come to terms and made a deal. He was watching them through Kanna’s mirror true Kanna was thought to be dead by Souta. But, part of her essence had been inside of Naraku allowing him to give birth to a new better and stronger Kanna. Naraku was pleased with the way things were going right now. It had his plan all the easier to start. He wouldn’t deny the fact that Souta and Kagome’s power scared him shitless, but he knew that if he could absorb one of them into his body he would be almost indestructible.

Kagome walked with both Koharu and Sakura in her arms since Rin and Kohaku were busy going through the ammunition shipments they had just received. Kagome went up to her room and laid the sleeping children down on her bed. She put a barrier around the bed that wouldn’t allow anyone but herself, Sango, Kohaku, or Rin through it. She went outside to the dojo behind the base and decided to practice her powers over time. Kagome closed her eyes and concentrated on the flow of time. In her minds eye she was floating in a black void the would be floor the lake of time. She looked down into the waters still surface and saw the world as it was and sped it up so that she could see the upcoming battle of the gangs that she knew would take the lives of many good people who didn’t deserve to die. She watched for a long time and saw that her friends would suffer so much pain that it was hard to watch anymore but she knew she had to and cried out when she saw that Sakura and Koharu would die as well as Souta, Sango, and Rin. She broke the trance like state she had been in and came back to the world around her, her beast raging within her to save those who meant more to her then her own life. She sunk to the floor and cried, her heart wrenching at the thoughts that flowed through her mind and at the pictures of death she saw for each of her friends and her brother.

Kagome gathered herself together and went back to her room where she saw that Koharu and Sakura were still sleeping. She picked both of them up and walked form the room tears flowing from her eyes as she went down to her gang and softly called them to attention. That all stood at attention upon her command, but when Rin, Bankotsu, Sango, and Kohaku saw her tears they all went to her crowded around her. She pushed them all away gently and they fell back in line.

“I have seen things about the up coming battle between the gangs. Things that will make some fight harder and others runaway in fear. I understand both, especially in the case of Rin and Kohaku. You two will need to protect Koharu with your life as I’m sure you will but as things stand right now, she will die along with Sakura who you already know I will protect with my life…”

Rin’s sob cut through the air as she buried her ace in Kohaku’s chest. While he looked saddened he also looked determined, Kagome admired that but wished they would leave Japan altogether. Even if it meant she would never see them again they would be safe.

“Rin, Kohaku I ask you this once now and I will ask again before the battle starts do you wish to leave to America and be safe? I will completely understand if you do.”

“We’ll stay here with you and the others, Kagome.”

The response was instantaneous and it hurt Kagome to hear it even though once before she would have accepted nothing less.

“Why?”

Rin walked up to Kagome and looked her square in the eyes.

“Because your our family Kags.”

Kagome hugged Rin tightly and took the comfort she offered against the pictures she had seen.

“Promise me, all of you that should I give the order all of you will board a plane and go to America where you’ll be safe until I call for you.”

Everyone nodded, but Kagome could see the determination in all of their eyes. She looked down at the two children in her arms and handed Koharu to Rin. She looked back at everyone again and stood straight her tears gone and her mask back in place.

“Sango, Rin, Kohaku, you are in danger as well as Sakura, Koharu, and Souta and I want you to be extra careful. I will not tolerate disobedience once this thing starts are we understood?”

“Hai, we understand.”

They all said in unison. Kagome went to her room and called Souta to tell him of their new power and of the things she had found out. Souta took the information to heart and said that he would stay the night at her place so that they could work on their powers a little bit. Kagome closed her eyes and sigh deeply, it had been two months since she left Sesshomaru and she had been through a lot. At first she’d had a hard time seeing him everyday at school but after awhile it didn’t matter to her anymore. She had lost the child she had been pregnant with due to an accident and it had taken awhile to get over the loss but she was moving on.

Sesshomaru sat in his room laying across his bed, he was thinking about Kagome again. The only time he saw her was in school or if she was meeting him to let him spend time with Sakura, who was always giving him looks like who are you. He felt his stomach clench every time he looked at her. It was his fault they weren’t together and he knew it, but it didn’t stop the longing that coursed through him every time he saw her. Even his father said that he had screwed up and probably couldn’t fix it and Inuyasha had laughed at him when he found out that is until he started to choke him. He dreaded going to school tomorrow because he knew that Kagome was going be angry when she saw her locker tomorrow, or rather what Inuyasha wrote on it.

Kagome woke up early and got ready for school happy that today was the last required day for seniors to be there. She walked into the school with her gang right behind her. Walking to her locker she read the words written on it and quickly handed Sakura to Kohaku to hold. Then, she disappeared before their eyes Sango stepped forward to read the messaged and sucked in a deep breath. It read

Kagome, your mother was a good fuck and I’m sure she’ll
Be even better tonight. But, I wonder how good Rin
Will be this afternoon or maybe Sango in between fucks.
I might even have to see how good Sakura is in a few months.

Kohaku was pissed and worried because Rin had stayed home today with Koharu. But, Kagome had told all of them to stay in school. Since it was the last day no matter what the situation and he knew better then to defy her no matter what the reason. Sesshomaru was walking passed the group when he saw Sakura’s name on the locker. He pushed them all out of the way except Kohaku. Yesterday the last sentence hadn’t been there or he would have killed Inuyasha, so he figured Kagome had went to handle Inuyasha and he wouldn’t interfere. Turning to Kohaku he took Sakura from his arms and told him to tell Kagome that Sakura was with him until she handled Inuyasha.

Rin laid in bed sleeping her body was a little sore from lifting all the boxes of guns and ammunition yesterday even though Kagome had told her not to she had done it anyway and regretted it now. The window was open and a slight breeze was blowing. Inuyasha came in through the window his eyes scanning over Rin’s body was evil intent. He had masked his scent and knew that even if Kagome did come by to check on Rin she wouldn’t even know he had been here or that he was here hiding in a closet waiting for her to leave. He could hear her coming up the stairs and quickly hid in the closet. Kagome unlocked the door to Sango and Kohaku’s house with her key and went to check on Rin. She walked into the room and saw that no one was there except Rin and Koharu and smelled that they were the only ones in the house. She turned and left reassured that they were okay.

Inuyasha waited until she was down the street from the house before he crept out of the closet and started taking off his clothes. He pulled the covers down off of Rin’s body and was surprise to see that she was already naked. He climbed on top of her and put his hand over her mouth when her eyes snapped open. Rin began to fight him but he had her pent down and tears sprung to her eyes. Leaning down Inuyasha whispered in her ear.

“If you promise not to scream I’ll uncover your mouth.”

Rin nodded quietly.

“I’ll even let you watch as I fuck your pretty little girl.”

Rin’s tears flowed even more she kept her promise not to scream knowing that if she did he would kill her, but did continue to fight him desperately. Inuyasha forced her legs apart and settled between them, his rock hard member pushing against her opening. Rin still tried to fight him though. Sango seeing his distraction told him to go check on them and that she would deal with Kagome, should she ask where he was. Kohaku hugged her briefly before then turned and ran out the door to his bike. Sango watched him disappear with a squeal of tires and hoped that everything was okay. Kohaku burst through the front door to his house and ran upstairs to his room to check on his family. His entire bed was soaked in Rin’s blood. He was at her side in an instant and had her in his arms as he cried. Rin was slowly dying from her blood loss and Kohaku’s tears were killing her. She whispered pitifully, unable to do much else.

“Check on Koharu, Kohaku, he hurt her and I don’t know if she’s still alive.”

Kohaku’s body went stiff as he slowly left Rin’s side to look in Koharu’s crib. He collapsed on to his knees after looking within the crib at his daughter. She looked to be sleep at first glance but if you looked down toward her legs you could see the blood that soaked the little bed she was on. Kohaku snatched the blanket off of her and had to turn away so he could throw up. Her body had been ripped apart it seemed. Just as Kohaku was crawling back to Rin to tell her the news, Kagome ran into the room. She picked Kohaku up and put him in Souta’s arms who carried him out of the room. Kagome almost choked on the smells of death and blood in the room. She left the floor and went to Kohaku who was crying in Souta’s arms. Her voice was soft and filled with pain, but also held determination.

“I can bring them back Kohaku, but for me to do this requires a lot of my power and I need you to change in order to protect Rin, Koharu, Sakura and myself while I am weakened understand?”

Kohaku nodded in understanding.

“Are you willing to become a demon like myself and Souta?”

Again he nodded. Souta set him on his feet and went to stand at Kagome’s side. They each held out a hand toward Kohaku and began to speak in low tones.

“We grant this power to the one who will protect us
in our hour of need. We grant the power to do
all that we can do. The power to become one of us.
We give you the power of a Dark Elemental Inu Miko Youkai
And embrace you as our clan brother.”

A bright white light engulfed Kohaku’s body once they were finished and after a few minutes it dissipated and Kohaku. Walked toward them. He moved to get on his knees to thank them but they stopped him.

“This was supposed to be a gift to you and all the others after the war, but you needed it now.”

“Use what we have given you wisely Kohaku. Though you are one of us if we feel the power we have given you has gone to your head we will not hesitate to take you down to protect the others understand?”

Kohaku nodded and Kagome left the room to go back to Rin and Koharu. She walked over to Koharu’s crib and picked her up then walked over to Rin and laid Koharu on her chest before she picked Rin up. She closed her eyes and made the time around her body rewind. She opened her eyes as she made time rewind and watched as Rin and Koharu’s bodies healed before her eyes. Koharu opened her eyes and looked at her and Rin looked at her with a love so deep it was remarkable. Kagome stopped her energy and left the room heading to the room where Souta was waiting with Kohaku. After, setting Rin on her feet she turned to Souta and nodded.

“Rin, are you willing to become a demon like myself, Souta, and Kohaku?”

“Kohaku isn’t a demon Kagome, but yes.”

“I am a demon Rin, Kagome and Souta did for me what they’re about to do for you.”

“Rin with this offer comes responsibility and if you accept Koharu will become a demon as well.”

Rin nodded in understanding.

Again Kagome and Souta became to chant and the room was filled with white light. When the light dissipated Rin looked up with awe on her face at the power she could feel coursing through her body. They gave her the same warning that they gave Kohaku and told them to go to school while they handled Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. At the mention of Inuyasha both Rin and Kohaku’s youki burst forth. Waves of anger and hate rolling off their bodies.

“Both of you will go to school and then head the base like the others, if you disobey me. You will regret it do you understand me?”

They both nodded and left the room, heading toward the garage. Kagome and Souta left as well heading toward Sesshomaru’s house knowing that he was waiting for them there or rather Kagome. They didn’t bother with the door but knocked it clean off its hinges and went to Sesshomaru’s room. Kagome walked into the room and stopped at the end of the bed Souta at her side.

“Give me my daughter, you bastard.”

“She’s my daughter to Kagome or have you forgotten how she came to be?”

“I’m going to say this one last time. GIVE ME MY DAUGHTER OR I”LL KICK YOUR ASS, DON’T FUCK WITH ME RIGHT NOW SESSHOMARU. CAUSE I’M NOT IN THE MOOD FOR THIS SHIT.”

“This Sesshomaru is not some child you can order around.”

Kagome’s eyes bled red and she was held back by Souta’s hold on her shoulder tightening. Sesshomaru smirked at the look of death on her face.

“Do you think you can beat me Kagome?”

“No, I know I can you, you self centered bastard. How the hell I fell in love with you is beyond me. The ONLY good thing out of the situation was Sakura.”

Souta released his hold on her and backed away. The smirk on his face huge, when he saw the enraged look on Sesshomaru’s face. He left the room and sent out this youki like feelers looking for Sakura’s youki. When he finally found it he rushed toward it, leaving Kagome and Sesshomaru to their fight. Sesshomaru stood up and charged Kagome who easily evaded his attempt to grab her by the throat. She kicked him in his back and sent him into the wall. Sesshomaru wasn’t going to let her win this fight. He still desired her, but he would be damned if she was going to disrespect him like she was doing now. He sent out a blast of his youki and knocked her back against the wall. Then he crushed her body against the wall with his own.

“Your treading on thin ice Kagome. I will not take my bitch behaving as you are now.”

“There in lies your problem Sesshomaru. I’m not your bitch and as such I can behave as I want.”

Kagome broke his hold on her and kicked him in his chest sending him flying back through the wall. Souta poked his head into the room and motioned for her to come on. She held up one finger and walked forward.

“You’ll never see my daughter again until I deem it acceptable.”

With that she left with Souta and they headed back to the one place they never thought they would have to again, home. Kagome kicked down the door and they walked inside Sakura sleeping in Kagome’s arms. They walked back to the kitchen where they saw their mother washing some dishes.

“Where’s your fuck buddy, Inuyasha?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about Kagome.”

“Don’t play dumb with me hell I walked in on him fucking you from the back so tell me what I want to know.”

“Why didn’t you tell me you were pregnant, Kagome.”

“Because you didn’t need to know. Now tell me what I want to know before I kick your ass again.”

“Kags, chill out. We came here to find Inuyasha either tell us what we want to know or simply tell us you don’t know but don’t waste our time because we don’t want to be anywhere near this hell hole you call a home.”

“Souta, you would speak to your mother in such a tone. I except such from Kagome, but not from you.”

“Just tell us what we want to know so we can leave.”

“I don’t know where he’s at, he only comes here when he wants to have sex.”

“Damn, you really are pathetic, letting a half-breed use you for sex. You must be desperate.”

“Leave my house and never come back.”

“Trust me when I say I didn’t want to come here in the first place and will never come here again unless it’s absolutely necessary.”

Kagome and Souta left the shrine and went to Kagome’s base where Souta’s gang as well as Kagome’s gang was waiting for them. Souta stopped in front of his gang and Kagome in front of hers.

“We have decided to let all of you join our pack if that is what you wish. Kohaku, Rin, and Koharu are already put of our pact if you wish to join step forward now.”

Everyone in both groups stepped forward, except Kohaku, Rin, and Shippou and the other demons in the groups.
