Chapter 4
At a mansion in a remote area surround by trees and mountians, a very upset and angry hanyou lord looks down at
his failed henchmen were they kneeled in front of him. Hiten and Manten tried not flinch from the glare that their master
gave them. They both knew that he was very upset that they failed to kill the girl and brought upon the them the G.Y.F.,
Goverment Youkai Forces.
Naraku sat in a big, high back armchair. He sat up straight with his elbows resting on the the chair's arms and
his hands fold in front of him and his legs crossed. (A/N: Think of your typical evil person pose) Standing a bit to the
back and right in the shadows was a figure that appeared to be the shape of a woman. Naraku continues to glare down
at the two kneeling youkia. For a long time Naraku just stares down at them not saying a word with anger and disgust
in his eyes. Hiten and Manten were almost completely unnerved by the time Naraku spoke.
"Will you tell me how could a mere human woman escape you and fall right into the hands of the G.Y.F.? And not only
that but managed to lose on of my best men to death. You care to explain this to me?" asked Naraku.
Hiten swallowed nervously before he started to tell his tale. From when they were ordered to find and kill the girl up to
when they hit that unusal barrier.
"We did not know where it came from but when we hit it we could not move for a few moments. By then the human was
getting firther and firther away. Even for a human girl she was fast and I am pretty sure she had to do something
with the barrier."
A soft-whispering voice with a hint of cold and steel spoke out," So basicly this human girl made you three look like
fools." chuckles "Which is not that hard to do anyways."
Hiten face becomes red with embaressment and anger and was about to spout out a nasty retort when Naraku's
sharp voice cut in.
" Enough! Hiten continue to as why this girl made you look like a fool and she got away."
Hiten knew better to disobey so he went on with his report. He explianed to when they can finally move to catching
up to the troublesome girl with two youkias who were seemingly protecting her. He went on to explain that while
Manten and himself distracted the two meddlesome youkias. Ryuketsu went after the girl and to kill her.
" Manten and I held the two off and Ryuketsu got the girl ans was about to kill her when she screamed and this
blinding flash of light and power came forth from her. It desintergrated Ryuketsu and we did not move but just stared
at the girl."
Suddenly Hiten hit the far wall for a force of a hit. Naraku stood and had hit Hiten with anger and a promise of
death in his eyes. Manten coward from the force of power radiating from Naraku as he stood over Hiten about ready to
kill him.
"So you are telling me that not only you failed in killing the girl but also became fearful cowards from her." A tentagle
came up and wraped around Hiten's neck and squeezed choking him. " Give one good reason why I should not
kill you?" Naraku continued to choke Hiten before he released him.
Hiten coughed and breathed hagerly and put a hand to his neck. Naraku stared down at Hiten and towers over Hiten's
immobile form. Hiten looks up at his master and begins to answers his question.
"I belive, My Lord, that the girl may be a Miko. A powerful Miko at that, for her to manage to kill Ryuketsu."
"Miko you say. Hhmm.." Naraku backs up from Hiten's form and returns to his chair.
Hiten picks himself up off the floor and looks towards his master. Naraku looks to be thinking of something.
He and Manten waits for Naraku to speak. For a long time no one moved not wanting to disturb the thinking lord.
Finally Naraku moved and looks toward his two henchmen and get this look in his eyes that promises all sorts of
evil things.
Naraku begins to smile evilly, "Well if its a Miko that we are dealing with. I have just the right person to take her out."
"And who would that be, My Lord, if I may ask? " The woman in the shadow spoke.
Naraku slightly turns his head in the woman direction and chuckles, "Why our special guest of course." He smirks.
It dawns on the woman and she starts to chuckle. "You are so wicked, But thats what I adore about you."
Naraku stands once more and walks to the door. He stops and turns back around to adress Hiten and Manten.
"I want you two find out what you can about that Miko wench."
With that Naraku walked the door ,dismissing them. He walked through the mansion till he came to a door.
He opened it to revele a flight of stairs leding down. Starting downwards, thoughts go through Naraku's mind one more
disgusting than the last. Finally reaching a door, Naraku raises his hand undoes the ward and barriers placed on the room
and door. Opening the door when done, he walks in to a dark room. Naraku raises his hand once more and snaps his
fingers. With that action a small light appears. Taking note of the room, it was just a small room with no window, a small
vent barely big enough just to let fresh air in and only one door, there would been way to escape. Once the light was lit,
Naraku looked to a wall on the far side from the door.
On the wall hung a bunch of chains and those chains seem to bind a person. The person was in a kneeling postion with
their arms streched out to the side bound by shackles and the chains criss-crossing their body. Making the person
imoible. The person's head hung down with their hair hiding their face. Naraku enters the room and closes the door.
Hearing someone come into the room, the bound person slightly raises their head. The light was just enough to see
where you were going but not enough to make out details.
"Well, how do you like your room?" asked Naraku, smirking.
A growl was his answer. Naraku chuckles at this.(chuckles a lot doesn't he).
"Now Now. Is that any way to answer a polite question. Now then on to business. I need you to do something for me.
I need you to search out a young girl, a Miko really and, shall I say, take care of her." Naraku smiles evilly.
" What makes you think I would help you with anything." the bound person finally spoke.
Naraku looks down at the person and something disturbing enters into his eyes. He reaches into his jacket pocket
and pulls what looks to be a syringe out. In the syringe, a purple looking liquid substance with green swirls all through
it.
Moving forward till he was directly in front of the person,"I think this might just change your mind."
Bringing up the hand with the syringe, Naraku grabs the person's arm. Naraku lowers his hand with the syringe swiftly.
All through out the mansion a loud scream was heard.

What does Naraku have planned? And what happened to Kagome? We will find out soon...I hope.

Tenyo: DON'T YELL AT ME!! I am a sensitive person you know (Sad eyes water and lips tremble)
Inu: I don't care...Bitch (snubs his nose in the air)
Tenyo:........(anger marks appear and sad eyes disappear)
Inu picks over at Tenyo and sees flames starting to sprout out. Inu starts to become scared.
Tenyo: Inu..yas...ha....(Pulls out an big golden mallet) You are going to get it now
Inu: N..n..now T..T..Tenyo, lets not be hastey
Tenyo: Golden Mallet Of Mash!!!!!
Inu: AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! (runs away)
Tenyo gives chase
Miroku pops up
Miroku: Please review and cookies and gloomps will be given to those who do by yours truely(Smiles widely)
Miroku turns and watches the chase.
Miroku: Try not to kill him please, Tenyo. You still need him for the story.
Tenyo smacks her mallet down on top of Inu's head.
