Miroku grumbled softly to hlf alf as they made their way in the dark down the road leading away from the village. He eyes flickered of the forms of his friends in front of him and frowned at the cold shoulder treatment ad bad been receiving.

I don’t know why you are so mad with me after the girl came to me I didn’t seek her out”

Inuyasha turned and growled out as he looked to the two women and then back to the monk before muttering out “keh” Kagome turned and walked to the monk and looked rather angry poked him in the chest.

“ we are mad because one, you woke us out of a deep sleep with your loud moans, two you woke her parents with your loud moans. Three you were boinking the village headmasters daughter in his own house but most of all you baka hentai monk we are mad BECAUSE WE ARE WALKING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT”

Snorting softly and spinning back around with a head flip that sent her hair into the monks face she stomped back off to join Inuyasha and Sango back at the front of the group. Miroku letting out a aggrieved sigh and put on his “the world is unfair to me “face then moved up to join the group to walk with the other much to his surprise, Kilala hissed quite loudly from Sango’s shoulder and then growled out, gulping softly and taking the warning of Kilgrowgrowl as a measure of her Mistress’s mood. No doubt about it Sango was fuming she had not said a word since she had come from her roomly dly dressed and ready to travel. Miroku frowned at the thought that Sango was walking so soon after her injury after all she should be resting.. Sighing once again and releasing that no doubt she would have still been sleeping warmly if he had not been so loud with the girl. A grin crept over his face as he thought of the encounter with rather eager aki.

“ It wasn’t my fault you know she was rather .. Aggressive you know”

His five companions turned at him and all gave him a blank stare that sent chills down his spine and made him realize that they were rather upset with him even more then usual.

“surely you can understand Inuyasha , she threw herself at me”

Inuyasha blinked without even looking he knew both women were staring at him crossly. A faint blush crept over his cheeks and a few drops of sweat rolled from his forehead, his mind was yelling warning at him to choose his words carefully or risk both girls wrath too.

“ I don’t understand at all Miroku….. I think you made a grave error”

Inuyasha glanced quickly to the two girls they didn’t seem pleased with his answer nor were they angry, sighing softly and slumping a bit as he realized his answer wouldn’t get him in trouble. Feeling a tug on his shirt he looked down to shippo’s and gulped he knew he was in trouble when shippo voice chirped innocently to him.

“Inuyasha what did Miroku do? mother wouldn’t let me see and have you ever done it?”

He visibly cringed at the question and seemed to be about to turn and run when Kagome locked on him with a glare, then she smiled every so sweetly with out losing that glare from her eyes.

“ yes Inuyasha have you ever done something like that hmmmm? Perhaps with Kikyo?”

Though her voice stayed sweet, Inuyasha could almsee see venom dripping from the question as he gulped softly trying to choose between seeming unmanly and making Kagome cry or worse sit him to the earths core. Valiantly he choose the only option available to any male with half a brain he choose unmanly.

“ ummmm…. No Shippo I never done anything quite like that and it was part of a mating ritual for humans”

A Smirk slide across his features as heughtught he had chosen just the prefect words only to slide from his lips when kagome spoke.

“ What do you mean quite like that? You done something sort of like it then?”

Miroku relaxed he was glad that his friend Inuyasha had once again put his foot in his mouth, smiling knowing that this conversation would spiral out of control and sits and tears would follow and his transgression would be forgotten. In the insuring turmoil. Glancing up his eyes flickered to Sango’s who was looking at him meeting her eyes for just a moment and seeing the pain there before she turned away and his heart felt heavy he had not meant to hurt her but he knew he had.

“ Kagome … I meant that I have done nothing like that at all?”

Inuyasha voice sound almost as if he was asking a question ,kagome was on the brink of tears with eyes bright with tears waiting to flow. Miroku sighed knowing that the two were about to say and do things that would hurt the other taking a breath ,Knowing he should fix the damage before it became worse. Stepping up and laying his hand on Inuyasha shoulder and smiling.

” Inuyasha , it is nothing to be ashamed of being a virgin after all you were young when you were sealed one cannot truly expect you to have experience such a thing at your age, right Kagome?”

Inuyasha and kagome both looked to the priest then to the other and both relaxed , Inuyasha glad he had avoided the dreaded sitting to come and also glad that kagome had not felt hurt by his words for once. Kagome looked relieved and blushed a little, sometimes she forgot that Inuyasha was hardly older then she was after all he seemed so brave and strong how could one think of him as young. She smiled brightly to the priest and then to Inuyasha .

“Hai, at our age Inuyasha it is a proper thing for us to be Inexperienced”

Tension slipped from the little group their troubles forgotten for the moment ,save for by one rather confused woman. Sango looked at the priest as he laughed with the other two and her heart warmed a bit as she thought on how easily he had settled the coming trouble then remembering how the trouble began she frowned and then looked once again at the priest and vowed silently the other might forget the cause of all of this but she wouldn’t forget the priests actions. She wouldn’t forget the sounds of him crying out another woman’s name no matter what clever words he had.
