Too Much Time On Their Hands

Touga felt rather embarrassed still about last night with the kids walking in on him and Alistair. That was a rather awkward moment. He came downstairs seeing his sons and their mate after they walked in on him with his mate in the shower together making love was just the last thing he expected from Sesshoumaru who normally had the courtesy to knock. He was sure that the youngsters were going to give him hell today.

“Morning Father.”

Sesshoumaru stated trying to not bust up laughing as a smirk played on his features while his lips twitched a bit in mirth since his Father was blushing.

“Hi Dad.”

Inuyasha stated rushing in to kiss Sesshoumaru then winked at his Dad as he was in his swimming suit heading out to the beach with his Father looking horrified at this act. Inuyasha just went through major surgery and he was going outside to surf? Was his mate insane?

“You are just going to let him go after all you three have been through?”

Touga stated in shock at his eldest son.

“Yes. Akiyoshi said he needed to exercise and this is something he enjoys doing. We are doing quite well this morning. Megan went out for a run and will be back later.”

Sesshoumaru stated as Touga ran his fingers over his long silver hair. He was surprised at the freedom the young doctor was allowing these boys to have. They just went through major surgery and Megan had been there feeling all of it without medication.

“I think the family doctor allowing you three to do so much is making me question his sanity.”

Sesshoumaru sighed at his Father. Father was always overprotective during times like this.

“We are all doing fine Father. Megan has healing abilities we have been lucky to take advantage of and they were passed down through Megan to Aito. Our little runt is quite powerful in this ability. In fact my kidney grew back last night and Inuyasha has a second one too so we are doing fine.”

Touga nodded and then sat down as Sesshoumaru finally stopped moving furniture around. Sesshoumaru was doing the things that he did while he was pregnant again and Touga smirked. He had been the same way. It was a quiet pregnancy for the Alpha who had to have things in order and the furniture was easier to control than the pack some days.

“So is it a girl or a boy son?”

Touga stated softly as he helped Sesshoumaru rearrange the living room.

“It is a girl this time. What about you?”

Sesshoumaru stated smirking.

“We are to have a son.”

Touga smiled brightly since he was pleased he could conceive still at his age.

“I thought Alpha’s could only have one child without the spell on them.”

Touga smiled even wider.

“Well I gave all that up to you remember? So I am no longer an Alpha plus in my relationship with Alistair I am not the Alpha as you well know. He is the seme and I am the uke. I don’t mind though. I have more power than he does in this position. I can take a lot away from him if he pisses me off.”

Sesshoumaru then cocked his head to the side lost in his thoughts.

“Hn…..really…….. I didn’t ever think of it that way, but you are right. My subordinate mates do have the power to quell me when the occasion calls for it.’
“Well I have been thinking about some things lately Father. I want to give Jimmy my Alpha position now if we can train him early on. He will of course not be full Alpha until he is trained which will take a few years. I would rather do that at this point then mess with this modern nonsense any more. I will still have some say so like you do, but I won’t have all the burdens on my shoulders. I want to take on all of the uke responsibilities and allow Inuyasha control. Kouga may not be willing to give up his position yet though to Shippo although I know Shippo is more than ready for the responsibility plus the boy is ten times more responsible than Jimmy. Jimmy is young, but he has the respect of the younger members of our pack. Shippo wants Alpha soon I know Jimmy is too ambitious to wait too long. They are getting antsy, I can feel it.”

Touga sighed at Sesshoumaru.

“Are you going to fight him so he can take it like you wanted to do with me?”

Sesshoumaru smiled widely.

“No. I am going to give it to him clean. We are beyond that at this point. I made a mistake remember?”

Touga looked thoughtfully at his son.

“No you didn’t. Son, you are not Jimmy’s Father even if you helped raise him. Alistair knows this and so do I. You can’t change it and you have no reason to feel ashamed. I you are giving up your position due to past deeds than you will make the wrong choice son. It was consensual and the only reason it backfired was the fact the boy fell in love with you. That is where the line is drawn. There has to be a line son or you are crossing into the forbidden.’
“Sex in this family isn’t that different than in the past and in your mating to Inuyasha you understand that family isn’t the same in what humans would derive us to be since they hold to different traditions than we do. Our culture is centuries old and we do not change even though time does. We are demons. We live with our consequences with little regret to none. You regret too much son. You are too sentimental for your own good. It will be your downfall if you let your emotions and heart cloud what you know is right.’
“If you wish to be monogamous it is your choice. There is no one who will blame you for it or think ill of you. If you wish to explore you are all still very young. You have not been promiscuous and rarely had ventured your horizons. Inuyasha has not other than the little freedoms you have given him. We live to be thousands of years old son. We do not have anything except time so live life fully in each century so you can experience it before you like me choose to leave for a while. It will all change so fast you will feel your head spin.’
“I have explored pleasure my whole life. My mate and I have no intention of not doing so still in our lifetime. Alistair and I like the wild ways as long as we know who we are coming home to since that is the person we love. We are demons son, not saints.’
“If you are going to give up your position then do it the way you choose to with no regrets and no guilt. Remember you can take your position back at any time. Once an Emperor always one and you do not allow your kingdom to fall to foolishness. Do not let your past become the reason for your decision. Learn from it and move on.”

Touga stated softly as he looked at his son smiling softly. Nothing more was said for a few more minutes as they moved the book cases to the other side of the room. It was fairly easy to do what Sesshoumaru wanted to with his Father helping. After they were done they stood looking at the now very spacious area feeling much better.

“You were waiting for us to torment you weren’t you Father?”

Sesshoumaru stated smirking wickedly.

“Yes I was.”

Touga smiled back this time with mischief in his eyes.

“I liked what I saw if you were wondering. I mean I feel like a pervert stating that about you Father, but fact is you both are my heroes and you both are beautiful beyond comparison. With your hair down you look like a different man to me and not like my Father at all. It is too strange. You look more like a brother then my Father. It is unnerving how young you seem with your hair down, but with it up you looked like a bad little pup too especially on Alistair’s lap. Still that was the style and way of the samurai. It is who we are.”

Touga smiled widely at his son.

“I liked what I saw too son. You and your brother are fine looking men. Megan though was going to give me whiplash. You are trying to kill this old man flaunting yourselves like you do and turn me into the old pervert rather than letting you be the young one you claim to be.”

Sesshoumaru lifted his eyebrow at his Father and then finally sat back in the chair.

“So what do you wish to do about it?”

Touga looked at his son in shock. Sesshoumaru was flirting openly with him as Sesshoumaru caressed that long hair always wanting to touch his Father who for years was so untouchable.

“That is not amusing young man.”

Sesshoumaru sat forward on the sofa looking directly into his Father’s eyes as his Father growled at him.

“That is not what I was implying you dirty old dog and I wasn’t offering.”

Touga blushed feeling embarrassed by this.

“Oh……. I misunderstood you.”

Sesshoumaru smiled and suddenly pulled his Father’s face close to his own shocking Touga as his son kissed his lips softly. Then those lust filled golden orbs seemed to bore into Touga’s own matching golden pools as magenta lines clashed with blue. Then the two men regarded each other.

“It isn’t that you don’t tempt me all the damn time. I just know the consequences. Can you live with them Father? You know I would not be able to call you that any more if we became more then what we are now.”

Touga tried to breathe again. Sesshoumaru was so tempting and the most beautiful of all his creations. As much as he adored Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru was his perfect child and his perfection only became more so as he grew older. Sitting in front of him was the gorgeous young man with a face that only his Mother could have made perfect since she was perfection itself when he had known her.

“You are not being fair son. I do not confuse sex with family. There is a difference.”

Sesshoumaru smiled widely as his Father forgetting himself leaned in moaning in lust as he kissed his son even deeper then gently pulled away speaking huskily as his voice filled with the unhidden passion that was deep within. Touga was losing control fast as he smelled his Sesshoumaru’s arousal. It took all his strength not to shove the beautiful boy to the floor and practically rape him. Sesshoumaru moved away as he saw the desperate look in his Fathers lust filled eyes.

“Is there? Is that physical pleasure you share with Alistair different then love? Perhaps you are confused with things entirely and perhaps you could learn a lesson from me. My mates would not stop me from having you my beloved Father, but would you? When it came down to that crucial moment could you stop and let me go from your heart as a lover so easily? You lecture me on how I should let go of the past with Jimmy, but then here you are at my feet moaning in desire for me. Are we so very different that you cannot see what I am going through?”

Touga whimpered a bit as Sesshoumaru slid his fingers through his Father’s hair and licked his lips open. Touga was drowning and he did not know if he could pull himself back up. He did not have control of this. Touga did not ever control his passions and it had been part of what had become his undoing making his children believe he was dead. Touga was a lustful creature who had adored more beautiful beings than he could count. He truly believed in the term of being a fool to turn down even one lovely creature offering herself or himself to him. Was he going to do this again making his own child see him as something else? His lips opened for those tender kisses only to have him pull away for a moment to look at his son’s face. Sesshoumaru was cold, indifferent, and he could walk away from him unscathed. Touga would be chasing him forever.

“Do you still believe your own words Father or do you wish for me to continue?”

Sesshoumaru stated softly knowing he was hurting his Father, but it was a lesson that had to be learned the hard way for this man as a small tear escaped Touga’s eye. He knew in this one small confession he had been defeated. Sesshoumaru pulled his Father into his arms.

“I love you very much Father. You hid a lot of things from me, but this one thing you cannot hide from me any longer. I know about these Father.”

Using a clawed finger Sesshoumaru captured the precious tear and licked it off his finger. Touga stayed on the floor and felt ashamed for a moment.

“Do not regret anything Father. Nothing happened. I won’t allow it. I love you too much to let it. If I did not then we would no longer be talking I promise you.”

Touga nodded as he tried to get up. Sesshoumaru would not let him as he pulled his Father into his arms holding him tightly. How he had missed this man and how he had let him down when he needed him most. Sesshoumaru would not ever let time slip away from him again.

“I do wish to hold you though. I have missed you.”

Sesshoumaru stated softly as he held his Father tightly and ran his clawed fingers over that long hair.

“You make me feel like a foolish child Sesshoumaru.”

Touga stated through his tears.

“You are a foolish child Father. That is why I would not have hesitated in any other circumstance. You are the most beautiful of all creatures in my eyes. You gave me life and my mate. You did much for me and I did not thank you for it. I was cruel to you and now I do not want to be. We are not going to tease you because of last night. We both respect you and love you Father.’
“I don’t know how long Inuyasha will be able to keep that borrowed organ of his so we are going to live for all it is worth. We are now going to be children and be free of things. This is why Jimmy must take over for me or at least be ready. If you wanted me as a lover I would not hesitate, but I would not ever be able to see you as my Father. That is something I can’t live with.”

Touga nodded and leaned back against his son. He felt something hard hit his back and smirked a bit.

“Looks like I hit a nerve.”

Sesshoumaru smiled wide.

“You hit many and I will thank you for that too. I now know why I am so blessed although many a maiden and many young men of great beauty lived in fear of that part of my anatomy until I showed them the pleasures you speak of so freely.”

Touga sighed and relaxed against his son holding his hand letting his tears fall. He too knew that the sons he loved so dearly could be taken from him any time if that precious kidney failed.

“So I hear and I am very proud of you. I do indeed feel blessed just being here with you my son without all the pain of the past and the anger. Thank you for forgiving this old man.”

Sesshoumaru hugged his Father leaning his head on top of his Father’s head. A realization filled them both because of the fact that any day if Inuyasha’s kidney failed he would die taking the other two mates with him as tears fell from Sesshoumaru’s eyes. He wanted no more regrets and Touga did not wish to think about losing his precious sons.

“There is nothing to forgive. I miss this scent and your presence. You are my Father and I will always call you this. I want this very much.”

Touga sighed and smiled as that long silver hair melted with his own. His son was wise beyond his years and so very perfect. There would be none like him in this world or any other.

“I missed you too my pup. I missed you more then you can imagine and I am very proud of you.”

Sesshoumaru smiled kissing the top of his Father’s head. Alistair stood in the hallway listening to the conversation smiling. It was about time someone got it into his mate’s thick skull that love was more than just a word or feeling. It was in all that one does with one’s family and in life. Touga did not see sex as love, but as an act of physical pleasure. Alistair saw his taking of Touga as a bonding of not just body, but soul. It meant everything to Alistair and now Touga would perhaps quit chasing tail to finally settle down a bit.

“Maybe I will try this monogamy thing with my mate since Alistair has been thinking about doing so. Do you think it really will be good forever for all of you?”

Touga asked curious about this now.

“You will not ever know this until you try it and I will not either until this occurs. So far I have no complaints. I am content and happy. I feel as though I have no reason to fear losing them anymore and that indeed is a fear. I do not wish to be alone anymore in darkness. My mates are my light, my comfort, my life, and my home. I do not want that to be destroyed by foolish actions and regrets. I have enough guilt to last many lifetimes. It is time to let go as you say and move forward by learning from my past rather than living in it.”

Sesshoumaru stated softly. Alistair smiled softly as he walked away letting Father and son have their time alone. He had some things he needed to talk to his own son about and Jimmy was in for an ear full.

Jimmy rubbed the back of his head after Alistair whacked him good for being a smart ass. Alistair knew his Jimmy was an adult, but he was still his brat.

“What the hell were you thinking boy? Did you really think it would last forever?”

Alistair roared at his son who whimpered looking down at the ground despite himself.

“No Dad, I just can’t help thinking about it ok? He is the most beautiful man I have ever known and he made me feel things I had not felt in a long time.”

Jimmy felt the tears fall down his face.

“Jimmy I am not trying to be an asshole to you son and fact is you haven’t explored much, but you can’t keep them all. You are young and you don’t know how the world works still. It is a lot crueler and colder then you can imagine. You and I are killers. If you have your heart set on a man as cold as you are and he doesn’t return your feelings you may very well kill him. You will destroy all you love the most and over what? A onetime fling with a guy who you should not have done such things with in the first place. He knew better and so did you. You are both adults capable of making better decisions then this so you need to use that head of yours.”

Alistair stated firmly hugging his son.

“I know it is hard to avoid temptation, but son you must. You must for your family and for those you love. If you are to be a good King or good at anything you do in life you must be responsible. You can’t afford to give your heart away to just anyone and you have a family to think about. You need to think about them a lot more and about yourself a little less. If you do not stop your selfish emotions they will give you more pain than you would ever desire to know.”

Jimmy sighed as he wiped away his tears.

“Father how can I do this? You walk away from Mom and are ok with her loving Sesshoumaru. Still you say you love her. Is it not the same thing?”

Alistair shook his head no.

“It isn’t because you see son I was dead to you both. You had been without me for a long time and neither of you believed I was alive. You had no reason to believe it and in all intents I made myself so that I was indeed dead to you. I was dead son. I was dead to this world. I am glad she moved on no matter how hard it was for me. I in my selfish heart love her more than my life, but I know life goes on. I can’t hold her back and that would not be right for anyone to do to anyone. Your Mother deserves to be happy and so do you.’
“Young Sesshoumaru is alive and has been. You cannot compare what happened to me and your Mom to what you two had done. It is nowhere near the same.”

Alistair stated firmly.

“You did lie to us about dying Dad. You could have at least let on to what was going on.”

Jimmy stated angrily.

“You are right in that. I was wrong, but we already went over that Jimmy. I am not going to be blamed forever for your anger at something I can’t change. You can’t change your past and neither can I. We can only change our future and learn from our mistakes. It is an old cliché, but it still is valid.”

Alistair stated firmly as the two men sat on the beach now throwing rocks out into the ocean.

“So Sesshoumaru is going to give me the position as King you say. He doesn’t have to do that. I am not sure I am really ready for it.”

Jimmy stated softly looking at the ground for another rock.

“Jimmy you can’t change your feelings for him can you?”

Alistair stated sadly looking at his son.

“Dad, once you love someone you love them even if you have to let them go. I am just not ready for that yet. He lives in my heart and he touched something special there. No one caused me more pain or pleasure as he has.’
“You once said the same thing about Touga. You are his mate. I was rushed into my mating and as much as I adore Tsukiya what we dealt with was not something we were ready for. Tsukiya is my mate, my life, and my love. She is just one of them though and I won’t hide my feelings. I won’t run from them. I am in love with Sesshoumaru and I won't run from that feeling. I live for it.”

With that Jimmy turned and walked away from his Father as Alistair looked at his son sadly. Jimmy had to inherit his and his Mother's hard headed ways. Someday they were going to bite him in the ass if Sesshoumaru did not kick it first.

Shaking his head Alistair decided a run was exactly what he needed to do and maybe he could catch up with Megan to talk to her. Sometimes that beautiful woman could talk sense into their son when no one else could do so. It was worth a shot. Breaking into a run that would have Kouga’s head spinning Alistair took off.
