Too Much Time On Their Hands

The funeral was so damn hard since it was a closed casket affair and a funeral was needed for the few humans who knew the demon children. People from everywhere came to say goodbye to the three beautiful Tashio children. The ceremony was elegant and so many wonderful things were said about the children. The bodies had been burnt and there was very little to recognize of them since the car caught fire after the accident. This is what had killed the three of them along with the pieces of whatever metal hit them in the blast as the car blew up from the gas tank exploding. They had lost too much blood to escape and none of the demons were close enough to save them. Then the bodies were to be cremated and buried together at the family Graveyard.

Megan's whole family was flown out from America to the funeral. Most of them had died many years prior, but Megan still kept track of her family sending money. The few that new her true nature as a demon were long past having died many years ago so the others only thought her a distant cousin. It was difficult to see how the humans had aged and how her many times over great nieces had grown with children of their own. They did not live long as Sesshoumaru had mentioned, but the humans had been away for long enough to really notice the differences so only the demons noticed the ever changing family while they could not change at all. Plus with the women wearing veils on their faces it was hard to tell who was who anymore.

Sesshoumaru held Megan and Inuyasha's hands tightly. They looked beautiful. Megan's family did not recognize Tsukiya. Some were a bit nervous since few knew them anymore, but most were pleasant. Those that were unsure got over their fears rather quickly enough.

Tsukiya was wearing a very pretty formal short black dress and had her long silver hair up in a braided bun. Her makeup was perfect and no one could ever tell she was a hermaphrodite anyway so no one would have inquired although Jimmy was always over protective of his mate around humans. Tsukiya always looked like a woman. It was rare to even think of Tsukiya as a male and only with Megan had Tsukiya ever really embraced that part of her anatomy that Jimmy insisted she did not change since he loved her for herself.

Jimmy was quite clear on calling Tsukiya a woman around others always using feminine terms to describe his mate as his family was happy to see that Jimmy was going to be a Father soon. Tsukiya was always female and fact was part of her had been her whole life. It was just no one noticed it.

There were so many unique demons in the Tashio family. People no one could imagine except perhaps in drawings of beautiful fairy worlds or tall beautiful elf like beings that still could not quite blend in with humans not really fitting into what one would call the average society of Japan nor any other continent known. Trying to explain Japanese silver haired beautiful demons that never aged after they became a certain age was not the easiest thing to do, so they all used the same story since humans could not possibly understand demons. The story was always that Megan had distant relatives in Japan. The idea of wealthy Asian Americans in the family thrilled the Thomas family who were mainly of European, Scottish, Welsh, or English decent.

Soon everyone left, but both Megan and Inuyasha broke down in Sesshoumaru's arms. They couldn't leave the grave even when everyone departed. It was too hard to go just yet. It still did not feel real. Everyone expected the three rascals to come rushing in the door any time and they would not do so for many years. Their rooms were closed off and when they got back after everyone said their condolences.

Later that day after numerous servants came to clean up the dishes and the catering services were done with the day all of the family sat quietly. Family was ushered to hotels until the castle could be checked again for any problems. Then everyone was sent there for the night. Megan, Inuyasha, and Sesshoumaru had a hard time leaving the mansion where the smells of their beloved children still lingered in the air.

Entering the castle the spirits greeted the somber parties and Sesshoumaru's Mother rushed to him since the spirits of the children had not arrived yet. They had to still be buried with the rituals as their large cement tombs were placed with the other family members in the back of the vault where they would have to heal for many years.

After entering the vault the three parents stood over the three large tombs with the carvings of their children. There was a single open section with a metal tube that went into the skulls of the dead bodies that would transfer the blood they would bring every day to the vault to try to heal the bodies of their children. All the family was responsible for this task as well as the servants. Some would have to be slaughtered for the ability to save the young people. It was going to be a long gruesome task and this was why it was bad for any demon to be injured without having the healing assistance of tensaiga.

Sesshoumaru nodded as he and his mates went to the graves dropping the drip of their own blood then reading the scroll their children would join the family at the castle. It was hard to imagine only seeing them there in that cold place for so long, but it was better than never seeing them again at all.

When the three of them got back to the castle Jimmy, Shippo, and the other kids were chatting happily with their dead siblings who were laughing at Tsukiya who was having a fit with Jimmy about something else he did to mess up her life while Jimmy pouted trying to figure out how to get his mate to be happy with him.

Inuyasha was pleased to see their children's spirits, but Megan couldn't help sobbing. Raiden, Ronin, and Luna wandered over to their parents.

"We miss you all too. Still it could be worse. You could all be stuck here with our ancestors like we are. Bunch of grumpy old farts if you ask me."

Stated Ronin making his parents laugh. Raiden placed a hand on his Father Inuyasha as Luna hugged her Mother tightly even with her cold empty embrace Megan felt warm as though she was indeed being touched by her children. They would do everything in their power to bring them back.

"We miss you so much Mom. You did raise us well; you just should have taught Raiden how to drive much better. I can't believe we got into this mess because you were swerving out of the way for a damn rabbit. That is fucking lunch on the road kill cafe menu you idget! He wasn’t even drunk on sake!"

Raiden growled at his sister who laughed at him and Megan could not help smiling. They were at least happy together.

"Ya big brother it must have been off the Holy Grail. It hopped in front of you and scared you to death so you saved us all the problem of being eaten by the evil beastie!"

Ronin stated laughing as Luna whacked him.

"That isn't funny you asshole! You are making Mom cry again."

Megan was both laughing and crying. Inuyasha was doing the same and Sesshoumaru trying hard to keep a straight face wiped away some of his tears. This would be the only reason to come back to this place. It was tempting to move here, but then it would just remind him that he was surrounded by his elders again. It would be a good punishment for these three so that next time they would be more careful not distracting Raiden while making out in the back seat when he was driving.

"Dad it is ok. We are happy and we will be fine. Hell we have the whole damn pack looking out for us. See we are not alone and you did well for us. We will be back to torment you all soon enough."

Raiden stated putting a hand on Sesshoumaru's shoulder. Sesshoumaru placed his hand on his son's and felt better.

"Don't worry about things with Jimmy anymore ok? He has his hands full with our brother or sister, whatever the hell Tsukiya wants to be. Jimmy is happy with his mate and the past is over with.'
"Let's all just be happy and by the way Dad you will have more pups soon enough you sly old dog."

Raiden smirked. Sesshoumaru looked at his son and then Raiden motioned to his mates.

"Life goes on Dad. Just don't go naming our siblings after us. That would just be lame. I like my name and I am not dead. I am here and will be here as you know. So what if our bodies are dead for a while. It isn’t like we are going to be gone forever. Just don’t be strangers to us all ok?"

Sesshoumaru sighed.

"I guess that means we need to stock up again on chocolate donuts with sprinkles and maple bars. I wouldn't want to be accused again of being a donut hater."

Sesshoumaru stated with a small smile on his face as he wandered over to his mates sitting with them listening to his ghostly children talk until it was time to go to their rooms. The whole family stayed at the castle for a few days, but soon it was time for everyone to leave again. Tsukiya was getting closer to the birth of her son and Jimmy was getting antsy.

The young couple got rid of their apartment and moved back into the house that was built for them by Sesshoumaru as promised. Jimmy quit his jobs since they were not really making him very happy anyway and he started going to college. Sesshoumaru was going to set him up at one of his companies until Jimmy thought up some ideas to start a new one. So they worked on it together and it was something that ended up working out well for them all. It was a company to make new games and programs. Jimmy loved games and Tsukiya even got into it until he was forced to be on complete bed rest. Tsukiya was even whiner then Inuyasha about being in bed for a damn week and she was not even due yet.

"I don't want to stay in bed and where the hell is my teddy bear! Jimmy what the fuck did you do with teddy you bastard! Ouch! Fuck!"

Tsukiya yelled down the hall as the first contraction hit while Tsukiya was crawling all over the floor looking for her teddy bear. Jimmy came running back into the bedroom at first grumbling until he heard the 'ouch' from Tsukiya. Then he called Dr. Hojo immediately and soon it seemed like the whole damn family was in his house. Jimmy sat nervously holding Tsukiya's hand.

"This is all your fault you asshole! You can’t keep it in your pants for five seconds and that is why this is happening to me!"

Tsukiya yelled as Dr. Hojo made her push. Tsukiya was so mad at Jimmy and in so much pain she could not think strait. Jimmy still had not found her teddy bear so that was really why Tsukiya wanted to kick his ass. How the fuck was she supposed to have her baby without teddy?

Megan found the damn bear before Tsukiya stopped pushing again demanding the baby did not come out until she had her teddy bear. Then once teddy was found Tsukiya pushed and it was over with rather quickly.

Kagome pushed on Tsukiya to push out the clots, but that made Tsukiya only yell more at her mate until the pain was gone. Poor Jimmy looked like he was ready to burst into tears any second until he was handed his son.

"You are beautiful my son and so tiny."

Jimmy stated in awe looking at the tiny dark haired baby boy with golden eyes looking back at him. He looked like a wolf and like a dog. His son was so fragile and he felt like a big monster holding such a precious fragile creature. The boy had full lips like Tsukiya and Tsukiya's big eyes. They were indeed huge golden eyes with thick long lashes.

"You are so beautiful like your Mother. Let me check one thing. I don’t know if I can handle you turning out like your Mother as much as I love her."

Dr. Hojo smirked at Jimmy who was looking under his son's balls to make sure that part wasn't like his Mother as he sighed in relief.

"Thank God you don't have that problem puppy. Your Mother is a real bitch some days."

Tsukiya growled at her mate for that one whacking Jimmy on the arm. Akiyoshi took the baby to perform the circumcision as he was asked to do and Jimmy still couldn't believe he bit the damn umbilical cord like that was normal. It was like instinct told him to do it.

"I heard that you asshole."

Jimmy ignored Tsukiya as he smiled at his son after Uncle Hojo handed him his son again.

"Ignore your Mommy, he is a guy and a girl, but she is still your Mommy. She is really crazy. Yes my son she is very insane so it is a good thing I am here."

Inuyasha laughed at Jimmy who must have learned that from him. Sesshoumaru shook his head trying not to laugh.

"So what is his name Jimmy?"

Sesshoumaru asked since it was up to the Father to choose the name and they had been going over quite the list of names. Jimmy sighed pouting.

"Well I was going to name him Raiden the second, but Raiden doesn't want me to do that. So we were going for Skye, he doesn't look like a Skye though. If he had Tsukiya's silver hair we would have named him Skye for sure. He looks like an Alexander. I am naming him Alexander Sesshoumaru Tashio after both his Fathers. My Father was Alexander before he became Alistair so there. I don't care if you like it or not that is your name pup."

Sesshoumaru frowned, but Megan whacked him to remind him not to be so stubborn.

"It is a perfect name. I love it Jimmy."

Megan looked down at Sesshoumaru with a smile on her face and Sesshoumaru took her hand smiling up at Megan.

"Yes it is a good name for him and I feel honored. Thank you."

Tsukiya smiled and Jimmy handed their baby to her as the pup yawned then looked up at his beautiful Mother. His Father was looking down at him too and he was a beautiful wolf. Alexander was definitely more of a black wolf then Inu demon. The pup felt very lucky.

"Hello Alexander, I am Tsukiya. I am your Mommy and this is your Daddy. Welcome to the world my beautiful little son."

Tsukiya stated as her eyes became weepy and she kissed her baby pup.

"Aren't you the most beautiful baby in the whole world? Yes you are."

Jimmy took the pup from Tsukiya rolling his eyes.

"Will you quit baby talking to our son Tsukiya. You sound like an idiot. See Alexander I told you that your Mommy is insane. Come on kid I am going to introduce you to the cool members of our family and then you can eat just don't steal it all. I have a stash of chocolate chip cookies I am going to eat while I have my snack time with Mommy too. I won't starve you of all that milk either like Mommy says I will because like I said Mommy is crazy. Mommy calls me a jerk and all sorts of mean names. Sometimes I think Mommy hates me, but if she did then she would not have made something as great as you. So I know it is just Mommy is a jerk right now. Still I love her and so will you since we have to put up with her forever so come on. We are going to go meet people and mess with them since they are old."

Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru, and Megan busted up laughing as Tsukiya frowned looking at teddy as everyone kissed her goodbye.

"See what I have to put up with Teddy and you think you have problems."

Tsukiya soon fell asleep very tired from all this and waited for Jimmy to come back with Alexander soon.
