Too Much Time On Their Hands

As night fell upon the Tashio's mansion it was as though the whole world was mourning. Even Lycos was sitting in a corner for once not hiding in his room. He was trying to find a way to cope. Lycos hadn’t been the friendliest of the siblings, but he was tired of being treated like a cold bastard when he did give a shit. After all, it was Jimmy’s fault they were bound so of course it would bother him.

It was raining outside, but Megan did not come in. She sat outside under the large white awning on the balcony of the large mansion smoking one of Jimmy's fake cigarettes. Sesshoumaru had also become addicted to the weird dumb things. It was calming and at the same time it just made her feel even more fucked up.

Sesshoumaru came out in his black silk PJ pants with the long black robe that flowed open. Megan was only in her white silk robe with the light blue silk night gown he bought her and he knew it. She just took a shower and her beautiful face was still shedding tears. Neither of them wore shoes and he stood by the door watching her for a moment. Now was the time for their talk and then all he wanted to do was hold her.

"Megan I am sorry."

Megan nodded softly as Sesshoumaru came over pulling a chair over to sit next to her under the canopy. Her small feet were up on the chair. She looked so fragile and breakable to him.

"I fucked up too you know. I didn't tell you, but you never asked and when I tried to talk to you all we did was fight about Jimmy."

Sesshoumaru nodded as more tears fell down Megan's face she tried to angrily wipe away.

"So what do you want to do about it?"

Megan stated softly.

"I don't know. I don't want to fight about it anymore. I don't want to do that anymore with Jimmy if it means I lose you. I would rather die first. Do you want to still be with Tsukiya?"

Sesshoumaru asked softly.

"No."

Megan stated brokenly.

"I don't want to be with Tsukiya. I imagined how things were with you when I was with her since Tsukiya played male with me even changing her voice so that we could pretend it wasn’t real for training purposes so we wouldn’t get hurt. I was wrong and so was she. I didn't even imagine Inuyasha. That is pretty fucked up huh....."

Megan stated looking away at the water on the ground. Sesshoumaru smiled softly.

"No it isn't. I thought of Inuyasha when I was with Jimmy in fact. I felt bad for not thinking of you. If I thought of you I couldn’t have trained him. We both see the ‘Mother’ principal as an issue."

Megan nodded looking at the pools wondering if some of them were their tears.

"So we forgive each other then? I mean we are not disgusted with each other anymore?"

Sesshoumaru sighed softly pulling Megan's chair closer to his own then leaning his head on her forehead wanting to just hold her for all eternity like this letting go of all regrets with hope to start again.

"I wasn't ever disgusted with you. I was disgusted with myself and you with yourself. We both did that and then ignored what time we had with our children before they......."

Megan sobbed dropping what was left of the fake cigarette into the pool of water. It was so wrong how they had acted and Sesshoumaru hugged his Megan to him.

"I love you and I am sorry."

Sesshoumaru whispered through his own tears.

"I love you too and I am sorry for everything too."

Megan stated through her deep sorrow filled voice since this hurt so much.

"Can I hold you for a while?"

Sesshoumaru asked softly as Megan nodded yes. Sitting on his lap the two leaned into one another just remaining like this for a long time needing that comfort after so many fights. It felt safe and warm. Soon Inuyasha came out yawning wearing his long red robe with the red silk boxer shorts. His hair was a mess, but he still looked incredible.

"It is a damn good thing that demons don't catch colds or you two would catch your death out here. I can't believe you fucking morons are sitting out here in the rain."

Sesshoumaru smirked a bit as did Megan. Inuyasha grabbed a lighter lighting up one of the stupid fake smokes. He loved this. It was perfect and for once no one was fighting. Why did a fucking tragedy have to bring everyone back to reality? Why the hell couldn’t they just do it on their own?

"These fuckers are addicting."

Inuyasha stated as he let the cigarette hang out of his mouth while he lit it up. Megan smiled a bit feeling better as Inuyasha pulled her feet onto his lap. Megan ran her fingers through Sesshoumaru's hair as she leaned back against his hard chest. They both missed this close contact to each other. The three of them just sat together enjoying the warm rainy night feeling a bit less stressed although the pain of the deaths of the children still would not leave them.

The two young adults couldn’t sleep as they invaded the living room. Tsukiya was wearing pink silk PJ's with a damn teddy bear she refused to give up even as an adult with her long braid of silver hair sticking out in various places and Jimmy wearing only his green silk boxers wandered downstairs. The two boys could see Kouga wearing only his blue silk boxers pouring himself a cup of coffee with Miroku in a long purple robe with his purple PJ's sitting across from him sobbing silently. Ayame was at the counter wearing a long yellow robe with her back turned away seemed to be sobbing at the counter.

Akiyoshi was sitting in the front room in plaid PJ pants with Kagome in his lap wearing his boxers and his PJ shirt were holding each other as Kagome cried in his arms. Apparently no one could sleep that night at all.

Kouga looked up to see Tsukiya with the bear and started laughing. Miroku looked over and smiled too. It was rather funny with that full blown pout on her half face and that tired childish look as if she were lost sitting in front of the TV suddenly to watch cartoons. Jimmy joined him leaning back lighting one of the smokes as he brought out his ash tray. The cigarettes had no smell to them and actually put off a calming aura. They were fucking weird, but he liked them. Dad was great at making stuff like this. He should have sold it on the market. They would make a fortune.

"Ren and Stimpy tonight huh........ Kind of wanted to watch Demon Eyes Kyo, but whatever you want to watch Tsukiya."

Jimmy stated softly as Tsukiya started laughing at the stupid cartoon. It was really gross with some of the things Ren and Stimpy would do, but so damn funny.

"What time is it?"

Asked Ayame, as she wiped her eyes from all the tears. Ayame then poured herself and the three demons outside a cup of coffee. Ayame also prepared the sugar and cream to take out to them on a small silver tray. She wanted to make things as pleasant as possible for the three parents who lost their kids so tragically.

Kagome and Ayame had really gone out of their way. Sugar cookies were set out and the babies had helped bake some more of them with all of the bright cookies being decorated by little hands. That is what made Ayame burst into tears again since Sesshoumaru mentioned how the little ones would do that with Inuyasha and Megan. Kouga helped carry the tray out to the demons as they all joined them around the table.

"Here I thought you all could use these."

Ayame stated as she sat outside with them and Kouga joined them with Miroku sitting on his lap. Ayame munched on a cookie while dipping it into the coffee.

"That is a good way to ruin black coffee woman."

Miroku scowled hating that Ayame loved sweetened coffee, but Megan put three scoops of sugar, then a lot of cream in her coffee getting a funny horrified look from Miroku.

"Ayame I won't complain any more. Megan you totaled your coffee. Why not just have cream with sugar and forget the coffee shit."

Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru, Ayame, and Kouga started laughing as Megan stuck her tongue out at Miroku who looked completely appalled. Then to make matters worse Megan dipped her cookie in the already sweet coffee making Kouga really laugh at Miroku who shook his head at them all then looked out at the sky. It was another stormy night over the Tashio home.

No one wanted to say it, but they all hoped it would clear up for the funeral tomorrow morning. It was on the tip of everyone's tongue, but they just couldn't bear to think of it right then.

"These cookies are really good."

Sesshoumaru smiled lustfully at his mates as he tried to lighten up the subject while groping Megan under her robe.

"But, they taste better with breast milk."

Inuyasha rolled his eyes as Ayame gaped at Sesshoumaru.

"You mean you all do that too with your mates? I just thought Kouga and Miroku were weird. I mean Megan do you like the taste of it?"

Ayame stated wondering what Megan thought.

"Well at first it was bitter, but then I got used to it. I kind of miss it sometimes."

Megan stated softly and then tried to not think about her babies. It was so hard and tears came anyway. How could they live without them? Their first litter had been such a wild bunch and now it was too quiet again.

"Oh honey I am sorry......"

Ayame stated wanting to kick herself.

"No it is ok. It is a good memory and I still remember the crumbs in bed. I did not think crumbs should end up in certain places, but they tend to do that when they are eaten in bed."

Sesshoumaru smiled and so did Megan as he wiped away her tears. Jimmy came out of the living room leaning against the wall looking at his family.

"So are you all going to just hang out here in the rain or are you going to come in here before you flood the house?"

Jimmy drawled as everyone slowly made their way inside since the water was indeed starting to enter the kitchen seeping onto the tiles. He saw that his parents didn't move yet though.

"Jimmy can you come out here for a second and shut the door?"

Sesshoumaru stated softly as Jimmy did as he was told.

Jimmy walked around the table and Inuyasha pulled him on his lap and Sesshoumaru held his hand. Megan sat up hugging her son. She went to leave, but Sesshoumaru held her tight.

"You know in a minute here we will be talking to your mate. I love you son and I want you to know that I am proud of you. Don't go so far away ok? We need to stick together as a pack."

Inuyasha stated softly and hugged his son. Sesshoumaru kept a hold of his hand.

"Jimmy I am sorry for what we did. I am and I love you. I still do it is just I can't love you like that anymore. It has been over two years now. Do you think we can start over again? Will you at least be my friend?"

Sesshoumaru asked softly with a trace of hope in his voice.

"Sesshoumaru, we can't undo the past. We can only learn from it right? So you are still a part of my life and I am ok with going back to the way things were. Just don't expect me to call you Dad ok?"

Jimmy stated gently as he smiled at his Mom then nodded walking away. Sesshoumaru then felt Jimmy rush back as he hugged him then kissed his cheek.

"I love you too. I always will."

Then he opened the door and told Tsukiya to get out there as he changed the channel on her getting a fight over the remote with tears running down his cheeks as he smiled trying to play with his mate. Tsukiya growled then stomped out to the patio.

"You people are weird! You want me to come out here in the rain? Are you serious? Come on bear."

Tsukiya pouted as she closed the door. Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha and Megan tried not to laugh as the pup looked too damn cute. Big pregnant with pink PJ's and a teddy bear. Tsukiya still looked like a baby pup with those round chubby cherub cheeks.

"Come here my sweet pup."

Inuyasha stated as Tsukiya sat on his lap.

"How are you feeling?"

Tsukiya burst into tears.

"I feel fat and like a damn weeble wobble. Jimmy says I am cute, but I know he lies! I am a fat weeble wobble and it is all his fault! That is why I can't eat chocolate donuts damn him! Jimmy is a donut hater like Uncle Hojo!"

Sesshoumaru peeked around Megan as he was laughing his ass off. Then Sesshoumaru being funny pointed a finger at Inuyasha.

"That donut fetish comes from your side of the family Inuyasha."

Megan sighed and pulled Tsukiya onto her lap.

"Really you two are so mean to each other. Tsukiya you may have a chocolate donut honey. They are in the fridge. I knew you would want one and I got the whole case so you can pick the perfect one."

Tsukiya looked at Megan who was her hero.

"I want one with sprinkles on it, with no broken frosting and the perfect amount of sprinkles."

Tsukiya looked at Megan with hope in her eyes.

"I don't know about that. I just got a case of them. You will have to look in the box honey."

Megan stated softly fixing Tsukiya's robe and smoothing it.

"I told Jimmy you were the only person in the world who understands me. YOU HERE THAT YOU REMOTE CONTROL STEALING DONUT HATING JERK! JIMMY! ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME?"

Tsukiya jumped up and threw open the door as everyone jumped at Tsukiya's yelling. It sounded very familiar. Jimmy just lay back looking at Tsukiya as if she lost her mind.

"Will you be quiet you are going to wake the babies....."

Jimmy hissed at his mate as he got up.

"Oh I see how this is Jimmy, you love them more than me you jerk! You did this to me and it is all your fault I look like a damn house!"

Tsukiya went to lock herself in the bathroom when Jimmy beat her to it and pulled her into his arms kissing Tsukiya.

"Now be quiet and I will help you get your damn donut you crazy person I love so much. Damn Tsukiya you are going to make me insane."

Jimmy frowned dragged Tsukiya in the kitchen pulling out the donut box while the three adults outside were laughing their asses off as well as the adults inside.

"Now I don't want one."

Tsukiya stated pouting at Jimmy. Jimmy grabbed his own hair pulling it in frustration.

"What?! You just said... Woman you are going to make me insane!"

Tsukiya started crying.

"You said I make you insane! You hurt my feelings and you think I am fat so I am not going to eat one now! I don’t want one you tyrant!"

Jimmy wanted to bang his head against the wall. Inuyasha, Megan, and Sesshoumaru came inside not wanting any more drama plus they did not want the babies to be woken up yet. Closing the door they watched as Jimmy pulled off a miracle.

"I don't think you are fat. I love you and I want you to have one ok. I will eat one with you now come on Tsukiya. Don't cry ok baby? You are not going to make me insane except in love with you ok? So calm down and eat a donut with me."

Jimmy stated softly touching his beautiful mate's face kissing her. Tsukiya nodded as she looked in the box searching for just the right one. Then her face lit up as she found another one handing it to Jimmy. Then they both sat down after putting the box away as Jimmy handed Tsukiya the remote putting one arm around his mate. Jimmy loved Tsukiya so much, but he wished to heaven above this baby would come soon before he lost his mind.

"We are going to bed now. I want sex."

Tsukiya stated to Jimmy after finishing the donuts as she turned off the TV and pulled Jimmy up the stairs. There was a wide smile on Jimmy's face as he shrugged not willing to argue with that and the adults shook their heads. All of this was way too familiar and it seemed to make them all much happier for at least this one night except for Lycos who was being dragged by Jimmy up the stairs with a horrified look on his face.

"Funny how Tsukiya can seem to make miracles happen isn't it?"

Inuyasha stated softly. Sesshoumaru wrapped his arms around his mates leading them up to bed after they brought in their things from outside.

"Yes she and Jimmy both make all sorts of miraculous things happen. They also cause a lot of chaos and disorder. I am happy that they do though."

Sesshoumaru kissed Inuyasha and pulled Megan into a long kiss since he missed them both being like this. Tonight they would all sleep together again without pain, without regret, and without clothing. Sesshoumaru wanted things to return to normal as soon as they could.
