Beauty is Difference
Shippo awoke from his dream, looking around for his new mate. He found himself, however, to be in the arms of Kagome, cuddled ever so tenderly in soft arms. Her hug had loosened considerably through the night, and Shippo managed to pull free.
The moonless night made the world seem somehow less intimidating: no shadows to frighten the unsuspecting, nothing to be seen, therefore feared, and only the wind whistle in the leaves. He suddenly thought of proof, as he stood, of the night before; he gripped his left shoulder, yet, he found nothing. No dried blood, no fang marks, and no mate.
He looked around once at Kagome’s sleeping frame. She rolled over, pulling the blanket close to her. At this point, he realized he experienced what he Kagome called a “wet dream”. He overheard Miroku, Sango, and Kagome’s “adult talk” when he was supposed to have been sleeping.
His nose filled with the aroma of his own arousal, the stench reminding he of his father. His emerald eyes filled with tears at the mere thought of his father. He was so muscular, and intelligent: so.... strong. With all his heart and soul, the kitsune wanted to be as powerful as his father, and though sickening to a point, Inu Yasha.
The young youkai realized the entire camp would soon smell of his scent if he were to let his seed remain on him.
He began to run to a nearby creek but stopped himself as he noticed a sleeping dog hanyou. He looked at the silver haired Inu carefully as he saw the mutt inhale deeply through his nose. However, the young fox was fortunate in that the dog did not wake up, but he did change positions. The fox froze with terror, but this eventually left him as seconds passed.
The fox made it to the creek with ease. Taking off his vestments, he began to fold them neatly, and jumped into the water playfully. His mind wandered while he paddled through the cool refreshing water, and his mused the idea of demons being out this early.
As his bath ended, he rose from the water, soaked, with red hair matted to his head messily. He walked to his clothes, and picked up his trousers, digging in their seemingly bottomless pockets for his blue bow.
“Ahh...come on.....” groaned the kit as his hand reached in almost compeletly. He finally grinned with joy from his minor victory, pulling his blue bow from his pants. He tied his semi-long, auburn hair back into a small pony tail.
He dressed himself again in his childish garments and walked back to the camp. He reached it the site as dawn began to break through the shadow of night, and the world began to sing in joy of its return. Shippo carefully put himself in the arms of Kagome, and then let his emerald eyes be covered by his thin lids of flesh.
The remainder of the day was spent traveling to a village that was having problems with some demonic aura haunting the place. Miroku talked with Kagome and Inu yasha about his theory of what may be causing the air to turn wicked in the peaceful town. Sango offered her own demoning expertise, often backing up the monk’s views. She did, however, manage to not be blind sighted; playing devil’s advocate as to give little biased in the facts of a demon’s nature.
“Miroku, you must remember that each demon is different and has its own means of attacking, and how it will react to the environment when dead. Take Seshomaru, have you ever seen him use an attack similar to his brother’s attack?”
The monk mused on these thoughts as the group continued their journey to the village. The remainder of the walk was in silence, except for the kitsune, Shippo, who was blowing bubbles with the gum Kagome brought from her time.
As they arrived, the group noticed the incredible increase in the thickness of the air. Breathing became a chore, and Sango offered to stay back with Shippo and Kagome while the Miroku and Inu Yasha went in to the town. The pair left, after Sango gave the two demon slayer mask, as to protect them from the Miasma.
Inu Yasha walked over to Kagome and said, “I’ll be back, I promise Kagome...”
Kagome and Inu looked deeply in each other eyes when Shippo yelped, “Hey guys look...!”
Inu and Kagome glanced at Shippo who pointed at Sango and Miroku sharing a passionate kiss, Sango draped back in the monks powerful arms, at least, as far as humans go. Kagome sighed with want, and Inu chuckled lightly to himself, attempting to hide his own want of a mate, and of acceptance. He turned to Kagome who replied, “Go on Inu Yasha, I’ll be fine with Kirara and Sango here to protect me; so give that demon a punch for me.”
“And use the Windscar so I may see it, I just wanna see you in fight!”
Inu smiled at her. How could I be so stupid. he thought kneeling down closer, and embracing Kagome and Shippo in a hug, I already have the acceptance and comfort of a Demon and a human, both of whom, I love . . .
A/n: This chapter is shorter, I would like to thank Anon (I think thats right) for getting me to update past chapters (making corrections) and for all of you for reading this story so far, for the ratings. (That 2/5 did scare me at one point) This chapters focus was to turn the tide back toward Yaoi, and to push Inu to like Shippo more. Um, as far as everything else is concerned, that dream only had one point, well, two. One was at the end (cookies, maybe a lemon of thier choice, to whoever picks out the foreshadowing in the dream chapter)the other was the sex for Bi, but other than the former, it really had(or has) no impact on the story. Maybe this chapter is also a carry over too....oh well, toodles.
