Kagome and ??? sitting in a tree K_I_S_S_I_N_G

"Boton!" Yuske exclaimed and moved to help the demon up. "Wait? Boton? What are you doing here?" Asked a now calmed down Kilala. Boton turned to look at her with frightened eyes. "Kilala? I'm here to see the boys, what are you doing here?" Boton squeked. "I'm here to see Kagome." Kilala said. "Wait, you two know each other?" Asked Yuske and Kagome at the same time. "Ya, we met at Inuyasha and Kikyou's funeral." Boton replied. Kilala inhaled a breath threw her clenched teeth and looked quickly to Kagome.
Kagome could feel her body go numb. 'Inuyasha and Kikyou's funeral? Inuyasha's....dead? Oh god, no, not that...NOOO!' Her mind screamed. Kilala watched as Kagomes face lost all color and became a deathly white. She watched as the bow and arrow fell from her hands and her legs give out beneth her. She landed on her knees and slowly shook her head. "No, he can't be, he CAN'T be, not that, anything but that." She whispered. She looked to Kilala. "Is it true?" She asked in a drawn voice. Kilala's features were drawn. "I'm so sorry Kagome, I...I wanted to break it to you gently." Kilala said quietly. Kagome's eye's closed in pain and the room was silent in shock. A look of horror filled Boton's face. "Oh no, it's THAT Kagome, the one he called sister." She gasped. The YYH gang was looking at Boton oddly.
Kagome started to sob and Kilala rushed to her side. Kurama didn't try to stop her this time. She scopped Kagome into a hug and started rocking her. "Shhh, shhh, I know it hurts Kagome. I'm so sorry you had to find out like this. Shhhh." She whispered, tears in her own eyes. "How, why?" Kagome sobbed. "When Kikyou died from old age, Inuyasha choose to die with her. He commited suicide the minute she took her last breath. Please be happy for him Kagome. I know you love him, but he was happy with Kikyou." Kilala tried to reason. "I...I...know he was, and i...i...I'm glad he was, but, but I loved him so much. So much, and he choose her over me. Whats wrong with me." Kagome sobbed. Boton and Kilala shared a look. "Nothing's wrong with you Kagome. He just did, and you had your own time to return to Kagome. You needed to be here with your family." Kilala said. Kagome sniffled. "A..a lot of good that did me. Grandpa died 2 months after I got back and...and Souta went to that private school, and mom sent me off to live her." Kagome said, and started to sob all over agian.
Shippou suddenly started to cry to and Kagome held her arms out to him. He ran into them and she hugged him tight. Kilala looked up and signaled for Boton to help her heard everyone out of the room. Then she gently let Kagome to her room and settled the two down on the bed. She waited with them until they had cried themselves to sleep.
Quietly Kilala made her way out of the room and into the kitchen were everyone was sitting in silence. "Boton." She said when she entered the room. "Oh! Is she going to be all right? I hope I didn't upset her to badly!" Boton squeked, her features were pinched in anxiety. "She'll be fine, she's just trying to cope with the shock. But I would like some explanations here, why didn't you tell me about them?" Kilala asked as polietly as she possibly could. Boton blushed. "I figured you already knew about them." Boton said laughing nervously. "In other words you were told not to." Kilala said dryly. Boton sweatdropped. "Um... well...uh...yes." Boton squeked. "That still dosen't explain whats going on here." Yuske growled. Kilala turned to look at the YYH gang with an apraising eye. "Forgive me for not introducing myself properly. I am Kilala, I am a spirit detective recruter, much like Boton. I lead my own crew, I am here to recruit Kagome. I owe it to her really." Kilala said. Silence ensued. "I see, and why would you want to recruit Kagome?" Kurama asked, breaking the silence. "It probably has something to do with her being able to sence auras." Hiei growled. Kilala frowned.
"Yes and no. Kagome is a very powerful Miko, she can sense auras, purify demons, and much much more. Besides, she is a family friend and I owe her a favor long overdue." Kilala said softly, a far away look in her eyes. "Ah, that explians the wall exploding." Kurama metioned. "Wait, so your saying my little cousin has spirit energy, just like me." Yuske stated. Kilala nodded. "Exept she is much more powerful than you are, even if she is untrained for the most part." Kilala replied. Yuske could feel his eye ticking. "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!" He shouted. "Yuske! Be nice!" Boton chided. "And why the hell should I?" Yuske growled. "Becouse if you don't I'll kick your ass." Kagome said tiredly from the doorway.
"I thought you were asleep!" Kilala gasped. Kagome gave a faint smile. "I was, until my thoughtful cousin woke my up with all this screaming. Now will someone please fill me in?" Kagome asked, perching herself up on the counter beside Kilala. "I've filled the in on nothing besides the fact that I am a spirit recruiter, and that I'm here to bring you home with me and that you were a Miko. The rest is up to you." Kilala murmered. Kagome nodded and sighed.

Next chappie may get a little boring but some of the off time Kagome's had will be revealed. yaya
