The new girl

What happened, thought Kagome. She had just woke up in a hut, on her own sleeping bag. Maybe it was just a dream. She kept her eyes closed but was clearly awake. She suddenly got a cramp and had to move. She stirred and a woman’s voice suddenly called for Inuyasha. He burst in and crouched next to Kagome.

“You alright?” asked Inuyasha. “You fainted earlier. You got me worried.”

“I got you worried?” Kagome asked.

“Ya, but just a little,” Inuyasha said, blushing.

Kagome opened her eyes to see amber ones almost in front of her. “Inuyasha, what... WHO THE HELL IS SHE?” Kagome yelled. Her glare was toward Siame.

Inuyasha followed her vision and saw it reach Siame. Siame was an inch farther from Kagome than before. “Kagome, it’s ok.” Inuyasha assured.

“She was with Sesshomaru. She couldn’t be ok.” Kagome yelled.

“She is. It’s ok. Just calm down.” Inuyasha smoothly told Kagome. He started to rub her back to help her relax. A slight moan was heard. “You alright now?” Inuyasha asked.

“Maybe I can help you, Inuyasha. I’ll try to explain to her.” Siame said.

“You don’t say another word or I’ll kill you!” Kagome told Siame with a deadly glare. Siame backed off.

Suddenly screams were heard from outside. It was Sango and Miroku. Sango and Miroku came running in. “Sesshomaru’s here, right now!” Miroku exclaimed breathlessly. He then looked around. Seeing Inuyasha between two girls, lecherous thoughts came to mind. “Did we disturb anything?” asked Miroku.

Inuyasha got it perfectly. “No, ass hole!”

“Oh, well, ok then.” Miroku said.

“So, anyway, Sesshomaru is approaching. Get ready Kagome and Inuyasha and... who the hell are you?” Sango interrupted.

“I’m...” Siame started but Inuyasha cut her off.

“Stop, you all. Leave Sesshomaru alone right now, and let me explain something to Kagome.” Inuyasha said loudly.

“Leave Sesshomaru alone? Are you feeling ok, Inuyasha?” Kagome asked, putting her hand on Inuyasha’s forehead.

“I’m fine! Now, let me explain. This girl is... well, is... well, she’s Siame. That’s her name.” Inuyasha whimpered.

“Oh, well, nice name. Now, please explain, Inuyasha, how you know her.” Kagome said, smoothing her voice so she didn’t make Siame startled again.

“Well, actually, I know her because, well, she’s my...” Inuyasha stammered.

“She our half-sister, born from the same father.” A cold voice boomed from the door.

“Sesshomaru!” gasped everyone except Inuyasha and Siame.

“Sessy, why did you leave us?” Siame asked.

“Sessy?” asked everyone is surprise.

“Shut up, Siame.” Sesshomaru told her very coldly.

“Oh, Lord Sessy, why are you such a baby?” Teased Inuyasha. He did not catch the cold glare he was getting from his brother. He continued to tease.

“Oh, Lord Sessy, I royally call out your name... LAUGHING!” Joked Inuyasha again.

“SILENCE!” Boomed Sesshomaru. The hut became silent.

Suddenly a scent filled the air. Wind flew rapidly and Kagome sensed a jewel shard nearby. She cried it out, but over the noise of wind, no one heard. Then, the door broke down.

“Kouga!”

“Kouga!”

“Kouga!”

“Who?”

The wolf tribe leader stood in the doorway, proud as always. He had a slight cut along his shoulder, but he didn’t seem to mind.

“Kagome! I’ve come to claim you as my mate!” Boomed the wolf.

“Kagome... who’s that?” Kouga gapped at Siame. He thought she looked better then Kagome any day.

“She’s Siame. Kouga... Hello, Kouga?” Kagome asked, waving her hand in front of Kouga’s face. His stare was focused on Siame.

“She’s... beautiful...” Kouga complimented.

“Well, remember you’ve been going after Kagome?” Inuyasha teased.

“Don’t remind him!” snarled Kagome at Inuyasha.

“Oh, yes, I almost forgot. I’ve come to say something to you, Kagome.” Kouga said, stopping is staring at Siame. He turned and held both of Kagome’s hands in his hands.

“I’m sorry.” Kouga said.

“For what?” Kagome asked with confusion.

“Well, it’s over.” Kouga said with sadness in his voice.

“It never started!” Yelled Inuyasha.

“I can handle my own conversations!” Kagome snapped. “Kouga, we never started.”

“It’s ok, don’t cry.” Kouga conferred.

“I’m not. Kouga, I’m confused.” Kagome confessed.

“Please, I don’t mean to break your heart. Don’t make this any harder for me.” He cried. “I’m sorry.”

“Hey, didn’t you come to claim Kagome to be your mate?” Asked Miroku.

“Mind your own business, monk!” Snapped Kouga.

“Kouga, sorry to break YOUR heart, but Kagome isn’t heartbroken. Sorry... wait, no I’m not.” Laughed Inuyasha.

“Inuyasha, don’t be so mean. Sit boy!” Kagome commanded.

Inuyasha fell to the ground. The wood below cracked.

“What was that?” Asked Siame. She was puzzled that two words could send her half-brother to the ground.

“Oh, it’s a command I say, and he follows. He can’t disobey it.” Kagome laughed.

“Shut up!” Snapped Inuyasha when the spell wore off.

“Sit boy!” Laughed Kagome.

“Again!” cheered Siame.

“Sit boy!” Kagome said.

“Cool!” Siame laughed.

“You two are mean. What did I ever do to you?” Inuyasha whined.

“Calm down, Inuyasha. It was just a joke.” Laughed Kagome.

“Well, it wasn’t funny for me.” Inuyasha complained.

“Well, anyway, I need to head back. My tribe might get worried.” Kouga announced.

“You own a tribe?” Siame asked curiously.

“Oh, yes I do. Are you interested in meeting them?” Kouga asked, edging closer to Siame.

“Well not exactly. I would like to stay with my friends.” Answered Siame. She looked over at everyone in the hut.

“Well, my tribe is way more exciting then them. Come on.” Said Kouga.

Before Siame could answer, Kouga had picked her up, slung her over his shoulder, and ran off towards the northern mountains.

“I thought he would never leave,” sighed Inuyasha.

“Me neither.” Kagome said. She looked over at Inuyasha. From her, he looked so sexy with the sun setting from behind him. She took her chance. She put one finger on his chin, led it to her face and kissed him lightly.
