Part Five
Cricket's echoed across the field, where she sat on a tree branch. It had been nearly two day's, and still no lead on Naraku. She closed her eyes as she remembered the days of many like this. A small smile tugged at her lip's as she folded her arm's behind her head.
Kuro looked up at his master and sighed, laying his head back on his two front paw's.
Both of them enjoyed the darkness of the earth world, better than that of the Underworld. The darkness on earth was beautiful, with shade's of black, blue, purple's and green's. Silver and yellow as well.
Kuro's ear's perked up, as Kagome cracked an eye, looking into the forest to her right.
Sesshomaru stepped into the clearing and gazed up at her silently. She frowned at him, he looked troubled somehow. His mask had a slight crack in it, and Kagome saw through it.
"Lord Sesshomaru."
She acknowledged him, he turned his gaze from her to the tree as he walked forward and sat down against his trunk, next to Kuro. Kuro watched him with red eye's, as Sesshomaru lifted a hand and dropped it softly on Kuro's head, brushing his ears back.
Kuro closed his eye's and laid his head down, enjoying the stroke's that lulled him to sleep.
Kagome smiled softly and pictured him calming pup down that way.
"I have a pup too, you know."
Sesshomaru broke the silence, Kagome's eyes opened, eyes wide.
Did he just read my mind?
"She is human."
Kagome frowned... Oh yeah! She remebered now, that little human girl that followed him around.
"Yes, I remeber her."
"I must retrive her.'
He said softly. Kagome looked up at the vast coloration's of the sky's and it's specs of light's.
"Hai, I must do the same as well. I have ignored m child's happiness for to long."
"You are doing it for her safety."
"How do you know all of this?"
Kagome inturppted the valley of comment's. Sesshomaru folded his arms in his sleevs and closed his eye's. Kagome waited, when it became appearent that he wasn't going to answer, she growled softly and closed her own eye's.
Neither saw the glowing baby blue eye's in the forest line that dissapeared shortly after the conversation had ended.
~Morning~
Kagome's eyes opened just as the very first rays of light, touched the land's. She yawned and stretched, showing off her long pink tongue, which curled slightly upward. Sesshoaru watched this with mild intrest. Kagome noticed him staring, blushed and clamped her mouth shut. Rolling off the branch, she landed and smiled.
"Ohayo."
She siad, walking past him. Sesshomaru's eye's followed her, before he to got up and made his way back to camp.
Apon arriving, Sango dashed at Kat.
"Where have you been?"
Kat hugged the human girl back.
"I found a nice tree, a couple yards off, with the perfect wake up call."
Sango smiked and rested her head on the demonesses shoulder.
Kat smiled and looked about the group, Miroku, Shippou and Kilala were still crashed, sleeping all over each other. Inuyasha was awake and watching them from his tree, with a sleeping Kikyo in his arm's.
Kat looked over the group, then looked at Inuyasha.
"Inuyasha."
His ears perked in her direction.
"I am going to find my child. I will be back in two day's."
Inuyasha nodded, watching her silently. Kat turned and made her way into the forest, Sesshomaru glanced up at his half brother, and followed Kat.
~UnderWorld~
Kagome stood beyond the barrier, Kurop at her feet. She smirked and closed her eye's, letting the evil presence of the damned consume her. Kuro growled happily as his red eye's swept over the vast waist lands.
"It's good to be home."
He whispered, leaping off the ledge to another, and so on and so forth until he reached the bottom. Kagome watched him with bored eye's.
She lifted her eyes once he was nothing but a black dot in her vision and looked amungst her kingdom.
Lifting her hand, she closed her eye's. Her finger's lazily curled lightly against her palm.
As soon as she felt the mixed texture of smooth and soft belly of the creature, she leapt off the cliff, in a swan dive form.
She opened her eye's and saw the thick black dragon swoop next to her, then under her, catching her with ease.
Kagome grabbed the creature's neck furr and smirked as it glided esaily on the current of the wind, carring her over her land's.

Sesshomaru walked into his castle with a slight sigh. His eye's closed as his body visably relaxed. After a moment, he regained his composure and opened his eye's. His ftaher's castle was magnifiscent in it's own right. It looked to be made out of pure, white marble. In the center of the great home, was a white dog, etched carefully out of stone.
Sesshomaru walked up to it, when in his true form, he was a couple feet shorter than the statue.
He touched the paw of the great beast, then turned and wlaked out of the great hall and down a hall way, with picture's of all the great lord's and lady's of the white clan.
Opening his chamber door's, he closed them gently behind him and removed his armor and weapon's.
His room was big enough for three of his true form's to squeeze into, and his bed, which was covered in nothing but lilac silk sheet's and pillow's, was big enough for his true form to curl up in.
A beautiful white and lilac, silk canopy hung over the bed, some strand's of the beautiful silk draped over the side's, making an almost cage like effect.
Directly left of the bed, to the next wall were two large, double door's. With lilac and white silk curtain's. He opened the door's and stepped out onto the patio and let the breeze play with his milky white strands of silk.
He allowed his gold eye's to sweep over the garden's, directly below him, where Jaken and a rabbit youkia watched over Rin as she played in maze.
The garden was beautiful, with statue's of beast's as fountian's, beautiful pond's and river's, with bridge's and flower's. Sakura, and fruit tree's.
Turning his gaze from it, he went back into his room, where he faced a fire place. Before it, was a large white bear coat, stretched out on the floor and two lilac silk pillow's sat for seat's on it.
He growled at the fire place, which sparked to life and flames sputtered before egniting fully.
Sesshomaru walked over to his book shelf and pulled a few scroll's and seted himself on one of the beautiful pillow's.
Sorting through them, he found the scroll he was looking for.
