chapter 5
I do not own IY
A/N:Thanks for reading my first story.There will be some character deaths later in the story and I plain to make it a long one.There are many original characters in this story. This will be the only story I will be working on for the time being, so that it can get my full dedication.Please review, be honest but not harsh,any rudeness and I'll bite back(I'm not sweet).There will be lemon later in the story, but be patient

!WARNING! someones death is talked about in this chapter and it may bother people that don't like to hear about murder cuz that is what it is about. So if you don't like that sort of thing DO NOT read this chapter you have been warned.
"Sesshomaru!" A voice called him from the top of the hill.
"Who the hell would be calling me by my name with out putting Lord in front of it?" He looked up to see his old friend Bo 'Rai Cho looking down on him from his perch on top of the hill . "Bo 'Rai Cho you feind." Bo 'Rai Cho Jumped down the hill with one jump. He was very large and muscular. He looked to be human even though he was a bear demon. All of him except for his fangs, deep blue eyes, star shaped birth mark on his neck, and 2 inch black stripes that ran down his face vertically, he had one directly under each eye. The birth mark was past down to each member of his line no matter what, if they were related to him they had that mark. The mark showed that they were part of a bear clan that was so old that no one knew how old it was for sure. All the demons from this clan looked quite human in nature and were very powerful.His skin was flawless and a healty tan color and his spiked up hair was fire red. He was quite handsome.
"Sesshomaru, it has been to long my brother."
"That it has brother. What has it been two years?" Sesshomaru and Bo 'Rai Cho had grown up together. Bo 'Rai cho's father was Sesshomaru's father's right hand man. So the two of them were always together. He was Sesshomaru's best and only true friend. He grabbed Sesshomaru's right hand and pulled till their hands bumped each others chest Bo 'Rai Cho reached around patted his friend on the back.
"You look different some how." He looked him up and down puzzlingly. "What the hell happened to your left arm?"
"Inuyasha and his damn sword."
"Your younger brother? You two still can't get along?"
"Why should I get along with a filthy half demon and he is my brother only by blood I do not claim him." Bo 'Rai Cho had hit a nerve. He could see that Sesshomaru's temper was coming.
"My friend please calm down." Bo 'Rai Cho though a demon did not like to argue.
"Hum, you are right. So what brings you here friend?" Sesshomaru asked he wanted to know why after two years his friend would just pop up.
"For the past two years I have been invetigating this princess."
Sesshomaru cut in" You were always about the ladies."
He said smirking.
"Yes how true,but I believe this princess to be my grandaughter."
"Hayate had a child before his death?"
" I believe so. This girl is 17 years old and looks like she could be his ,but I am not sure. As you know my son had fallen in love with a kings wife. Though she was mortal she was said to be the most beautiful woman among both mortal or demoness in all of Japan, and that she was. I had found out, last we spoke brother, that at an attempt to kill my son the king had him poisoned . Of course meer poison could not take his life. So while Hayate slept it off that coward of a king cut his head off knowing he would at that time be open to his attack." He paused for a second and then continued. " The king wanted to do it himself. He was filled with rage when his beautiful wife said she was leaving him to be with a demon and that he knew she had never loved him. She told him that he knew she had been forced to marry him and she now wanted to be with the only man she had ever and would ever love. So after finding this out, I went to kill the king for what he had done , but before I could strike I heard the most beuatiful voice and saw the most beuatiful girl walk into the garden and sit next to him. I instantly thought of Hayate."
" If she looks like him she must make an ulgy girl.Well Why don't you just ask that woman if the child is Hayate's?"
"She doesn't look like him, it is something about the way she moves and her spirit. I can't ask the mother, she died shortly after the birth of the child. I don't want to ask the girl, she could be scared at the sight of a demon and I really don't want that. Plus if she is I don't think she even knows it"
"You always did have a soft spot for humans Bo 'Rai Cho. So what does this have to do with me? Why don't you abduct the girl and check her for your family mark?"
"Well I did think of that, but I don't want to scare her. I was hoping that you could do me a favor."
"Stop beating around the bush and come out with it." Sesshomaru looked annoyed.
"Well you are my greatest friend and I would only trust you with this task. You are much more stealthy than I am and I was wondering If you could sneak in and check her for me? You don't have to make any contact with her just look"
"And if I do, how do you think I can see without making contact? I am sure that if it was some were to be easily seen you would have seen it by now."
"How right you are, it is not on her legs or arms or any were I can see. I don't know how but I was thinking you could somehow see when you are in the castle. When she is in her room she doesn't wear to much clothing .
"Wait I don't want to see a half demon naked!"
" I said not alot of clothing, not naked. If she is my grandaughter I don't want you to see her body in that way."
" I would not want to, her blood is tainted. I do still owe you one, so I will do it."
At this Bo 'Rai Cho looked pleased "Thank you my friend it means alot to me."
"Why she is just a girl you have never met?"
"You know that I loved my boy. He was the only thing I ever truthfully let into my heart. When he was murdered I was filled with such a saddness I hope you never have to feel. It is hard to say it out loud but I will take any piece of him I can get so if that is his child I want her. I shutter at the thought of her being raised by the man who slaughtered her father and I will not allow him to do this to my son. For I know if she is his, he is not at rest and his soul is dying. So even in death this man is still killing my son and I will not stand for that." He spoke with such resolve that his old friend Sesshomaru was touched.
"My friend lead the way. While we are there we shall kill him after we find out about the girl."
Bo 'Rai Cho looked pleased at the thought of spilling that mans blood." It is this way. Try and keep up old dog."
" If I recall I am faster then you bear and younger so don't think I'm behind you cuz I am slow. Only you know the way so of course you will be in front." They liked to fool around like this when ever they were together. Bo 'Rai Cho could always bring out a playful side of him that no one else got to see.
