Kagome woke to the coolness of the morning on a compromising position. Her leg was on top of Koga's, who's leg was between hers with his thigh flushed against her center. Her hand was on Koga's hip in a possessive gesture.
When Kagome started to move Koga's leg, that was between her, moved up and brushed against her core and his grip became tighter. "Damn you Koga," she muttered through clenched teeth as pleasure coursed through her.
Trying again, failing again, Koga's arms pulled her closer to his chest and he started to nuzzle her neck. She moaned again as his leg rubbed against her. "I give," she said lying back in defeat.
"Good morning Kagome," came Koga's sleepy voice as he peeked over her shoulder and pecked her one the lips. Then looked down at their position and grinned, while Kagome blushed.
"You were awake before weren't you?" "Maybe. That a problem?" "Yes, it's a problem, and your bad as Miroku," she screamed and slapped on he cheek, shook him off and stalked off with her thighs squeezed tightly together.
Koga's POV
That didn't go so hot,' thought Koga to himself with his arms covering his eyes showing his chest. I only wanted to have fun and see if she liked me as much as she said and acted like.
End Koga's POV.
Then he went to find her.
Kagome's POV
OMG' thought Kagome' I really overreacted but I really had to go to the bathroom. I hope he doesn't hate me but it would have been embarrassing to tell him. None of this would have happened with Inuyasha or anyone else for they don't even pay attention to me. As she turned around she saw Koga coming towards her.
Normal POV
As Koga walked closer Kagome's heart fluttered. He's hot with his intense cerulean blue eyes and when he walks into a room he seizes their attention. Then Koga stopped in front of her. "Hey Kagome." "Hey Koga." "OK. I'm sorry for slapping you. I overreacted. I hope that hadn't affected your thoughts of letting me stay."
"Kagome, I said that I wanted you as a mate when I first saw you especially after you first slapped me. I wouldn't through you out just because if that. Besides," said Koga with a half grin," I like that your spunky, tough and cute. The fact that you stand up to me makes making up that much more fun." At that Kagome blushed red as a cherry.
"I'll kiss it and make it better," she said her voice getting low.
Koga blinked then grinned "I can think of many ways you can apologize," he said as he put his arms around and pulled her flushed against him. Looking into each other eyes their lips met. It started out as an exploratory kiss, then Koga nipped Kagome's lip, she opened her mouth in surprise he thrust his tongue in. His tongue wrestled with hers, he then wrapped his tongue around hers and sucked. She moaned into the kiss.
Kagome's hands began to roam over the broad expansion of his shoulders, pulling him even closer and grinding her hips in his. Koga's hands groped Kagome's ass and pulled her closer into him at the same time. They both moaned into the kiss.
Snickering and laughter penetrated through the red cloud of lust making them both spring apart. Kagome blushed red as a cherry for the second time that day. Koga just had a big ass grin on his face as he put an arm around Kagome, tucking her under his shoulder.
" men men lets get ready, we have a big day ahead of us." This disbursed the group of snickering men. Koga turned back to Kagome "You sure you won't stay behind?"
"Koga, we went through this already I'm going. End of story." Sighing he told her to get her bow and arrow.
Within a space of half an hour all the men and Kagome were ready.
"OK this is the day we finally destroy the Birds of Paradise once and for all. Ginta and Hakkaku you stay with Kagome, protect each other. The rest of you," his eyes turning back to his men," will be there fighting for our lost comrades, and our familles!" He put his fist in the air and his men roared in agreement.
They set off with Koga in the led and Kagome in the rear.
Kagome's POV
OK Kagome you can do this she kept saying to herself. I can take care of myself. Thanks to Sesshoumaru. I just hope I don't screw up and distract Koga. I can do this she thought as she remembered all the taunting Sesshoumaru did.
When they reached the bottom of the summit the birds we already hovering overhead. Their expecting us thought Kagome. Then they started to swoop down on them.
"Ready yourself," shouted Koga.
Kagome took one of her many arrows aimed and when the bird came close she let is fly. The rest of the men took her action and started to fight.
Kagome moved, dodged, saved others as she moved around. Finding her way over to Koga he asked," Have you sensed the jewel shard?" Kagome had been so concentrated on the birds she hadn't even sensed any shards. Looking around she finally sensed a jewel shard.
"Yea right above that cliff," she said pointing above them. "OK you stay down here. Got it?" She nodded and he took off.
Racing towards the top Koga felt the cliff tremor, then from above came the monstrous leader. "So nice of you to come and visit. I'll deal with your 3 shards later. I'll get the girls 5 shards first. But first I have to keep you occupied." Then promptly it threw Koga into the cliff and headed toward an unexpecting Kagome.
Kagome sensed jewel shards coming towards her and they weren't Koga's. Before she could look up she was picked up my the bird's massive claws. They dug into her skin unforgivably. She whimpered in pain.
"Your mine and no one can help you." It then threw her into the cliff and kept doing this until Koga came and using his nails sliced into the bird. The bird wailed in agony, it let go of Kagome and crashed into the cliff.
Koga caught Kagome's seemingly lifeless body and laid her gently on the ground. "Oh my God Kagome Kagome," he shouted hoarsely. "Ko...Ko.. Koga?" "Oh thank God your alive." Kagome opened her eyes and saw the leader coming straight for them and its mouth glowing.
Kagome pushed Koga out of the way reached for her bow and arrows. She aimed and let it go. The arrow landed straight in the middle of the bird, in the pink light it dissipated.
Kagome then collapsed and went unconscious. Koga picked her up gently and told his men, "I'm taking her back. The rest of you come back when your done." Then he took off towards the caves, hoping he wasn't too late.
