Chapter 5: Flash back- Fade Away…
Chapter 5: Flash back- Fade Away…
*Author's note*: Yes Yes, I know the flash back chapters are short...sorry....
-Earlier that day-
“Kagome?”
Inquired Sango as she looked at her friend.
“Yes Sango-chan?”
Kagome replied.
“H-Have you ever…ever kissed anyone?”
Kagome chuckled at Sango’s question.
“Wjustjust once…Only I don’t think he was ready for it…”
“Who?!”
Asked Sango in surprise.
“…Inu-Yasha…”
Said Kagome blushing abit.
“REALLY!?”
Sango said in shock. Kagome nodded, still red.
“Why did you ask?”
“Just wondering…”
“Sango?”
“Yes?”
“Have you ever kissed anyone?”
“No…”
“Really? If you could…who would you kiss?”
“Ummm….”
“Oh come on, you can tell me…”
“Miroku I guess….”
Sangmblembled.
“I KNEW YOU LOVED HIM!!! I KNEW I KNEW I KNEW!!!”
Yelled Kagome, causing Sango to turn deep red and try to shut her up.
“Kagome Please! Does everyone have to know!”
She begged. Kagome giggled and smiled
“Oh alright…”
Miroku found shelter in the form of an abandoned hut; Sango wasn’t looking well at all, he flesh seemed pale and lifeless do to the loss of blood. Miroku quickly opened the door and lay Sango gently on the floor, careful not to aggravate her wounds. He shut the door silently and got to work, he needed to tend to the wounds quickly.
The monk dung in his robes as he knelt next to the slayer, pulling out a few rolls of bandages and some healing herbs. He then carefully undresses her, propping her up against his chest so that her back didn’t touch anything. Miroku gently applied the healing herbs to the wounds before wrapping them.
In doing so he covered her breasts, only after a long pause to stare at them. Sango mumbled something as he wrapped the robe around her and let her sleep whilst he started the fire. Miroku then carefully picked her up and sat near the fire, holding her close to keep her warm… Hours later Sango awoke to find herself in the warm arms of a sleeping monk, it had to be near mid-night.
“Huh?”
She mumbled as she noticed her attire and bandaging.
“What happened…”
It was then she remember the near death by drowning…and how…the monk had saved her, placing once more; air into her lungs and rhythm with in her heart. Sango carefully slipped out of his arms and moved away from the fire so that she could lean against a wall. She closed her eyes as she thought…about how Miroku’s lips must have felt against hers…She slowly fell asleep once more, her dreams filled of the monk…
In the dead of night Miroku woke with a start, he had a vision of Sango dying in a torrent of blood and screaming. He briskly looked about; noticing that Sango was no longer in his lap. He sighed with relief when he saw her sleeping against the wall. Silently he moved towards her, wrapping an arm about her cold shoulders.
“She’s so cold…”
He said, pulling her closer.
“I’m sorry…”
Came a tired voice, it was Sango’s.
“Huh?!”
Said Miroku in surprise, looking at her.
“For causing you so much pain and trouble…”
She finished.
“Why my lady Sango, you have done no such thing…”
He said, smiling warmly at her.
“Really?”
Asked Sango, looking back at him.
Miroku continued to smile.
“Then if it wouldn’t be too much of a problem could you… Houshi-sama...I want...”
Mumbled Sango, blushing maddly at her self for even trying to ask...
“Could I what my lady?”
Asked Miroku curiously.
“Well…um…ah…”
“Oh I see…”
Said Miroku grinning while reading her mind as he wrapped both arms tightly about her waist and back. Sango looked back at him, a deep crimson dashed across her cheeks.
“Just close your eyes love…let everything fade away…”
Said Miroku softly. Sango did what she was told; anticipating what he was about to do.
“Let it all just fade away…”
He whispered as he lowered his mouth onto hers…
