Kagome questioned the undead miko before her “You what?”
“I saw Inuyasha die,” Kikyo repeated her statement as another tear fell down her clay cheek. “Naraku had got a hold of you and he used you as bait for Inuyasha. Every time Inuyasha moved towards Naraku would uses his claws upon you. Eventually you fainted from all the scars and cuts he put on you with his poisonous claws. Inuyasha tried to keep Naraku’s attention and the youkai hunter tried to sneak up to you and get you out of Naraku’s grasp, but Naraku caught on to there plan and then had used one his tentacles to push the women away. In the process the women went flying into the sky and into the forest. The monk and the fire cat went after her leaving Inuyasha alone with Naraku. Inuyasha managed to hit Naraku with his claws and as always Naraku tried to escape, but not before dropping you. Inuyasha went to your side, but Naraku’s escape was a trick. Naraku turned around and plunged one of his tentacles through Inuyasha’s stomach before finally fleeing as the sun set. Not to long after the full moon rose in the sky and Inuyasha died a human. Almost instantly he was sucked down into hell. Not to long after that you had risen and walked off into the forest. It was not until recently that I found out that you were here.” Kikyo looked behind Kagome to see the Lord of the west had appeared during her story and now stood just behind the crying miko.
As Kagome listened to Kikyo’s story her knees gave out and she fell down the ground as tears flowed down her cheeks.
Between sobs Kagome asked “What about my other friends?”
“They are in the village next to Inuyasha’s forest.”
Kagome nodded.
“I can not live without him, so I’m going to join him in hell. You can have all of your soul my reincarnation. With the return pf the rest of your soul you will also gain my knowledge of miko powers. Use then well to defeat Naraku. Also have these few jewel shards I stole from Naraku,” Kikyo informed the crying women before her as she handed the jewels to her.
Suddenly Kikyo’s body was surrounded by a bright light and a red hole appeared underneath her feet. Slowly Kikyo’s body sank into the hole as a bright ball of light escaped her clay pot body and entered Kagome’s.
“Pretty Lady, don’t cry,” begged Rin as she tried her best to comfort Kagome as she wrapped her arms around her.

Sesshomaru had smelt the salt in the air and knew the miko was crying. Using his noise he quickly found Kagome and his ward in the garden. Sesshomaru heard the most of the dead Miko’s story. She only confirmed the death of Inuyasha. His heart cringed as her heard the sobs of the Kagome. He watched as she slowly crumbled to the ground and the dead miko finally left into the afterlife.
Rin what is going on?

“Rin, please go inside, ”Sesshomaru commanded in a soft voice.
“Don’t cry pretty lady, everything will be okay. Lord Sesshoumaru will take care of you,” Rin whispered in Kagome’s ear before letting go of the crying women and walking back to the castle.
“There is no need to cry,” the deep voice of the Lord tried to sooth the young miko as he crotched on the ground next to her.
“Just kill me. I have no reason to live,” She sobbed on the ground.
“What about your kit? He would be devastated with out you and what about Rin? You are the first female that she has really talked to. I know that you have only met, but I can tell she looks at you like you are her mother.”
“What,” Kagome looked up the lord with tears still running down her red cheeks.
“You heard me. Now get up, wench ”
“NO ”
“What,” he asked as a silver eye rose up.
“I said, no. My name is not wench, but KAGOME KA-GO-ME ”
“I’m not deaf women,” said as he stood up to back away from the young miko.
“Then call me by my name”
“I will call you what I want You are acting weak and until you prove that you are not you do not deserve a name ”
Kagome stood up on her feet, arms glued to her sides and her hands balled up in fists as she glared at the Youkai Lord.
“If I’m so weak then how come I could pull the Tetseiga out of the stone and yet the all mighty and powerful Lord of the West could not?”
Sesshoumaru looked at the creature before him with interest.
“Just a moment ago this mysterious creature before me was on the ground before me and now she is glaring at me with anger in her eyes”
Sesshoumaru picked up the creature before him and put her over his shoulder and carried her back into the castle. Along the way she hit his back and screamed for him to put her down. Once in her chambers, he threw her on to her bed, causing an “eep” to leave her lips.
“What are you doing?”
“Showing you your place I saved your life and you repay me back by disrespecting me,” the youkai lord growled.
“I… um…I’m sorry. Please forgive me... Lord Sesshomaru. I don’t deserve to live, i have caused so many problems for all those i care for.... but maybe... i can try to help you a little bit... I’ll …um… I’ll heal your arm”
“My arm,” the youkai lord replied as he remembered how his brother took it from him.
“Please allow me to try, as payment for you healing me and taking me into your home” she begged him.
Sesshomaru started at the miko for minute wondering if was even possible. He looked into her Sapphire eyes and knew that she was sincere in wanting to heal him.
“Fine,” Sesshoumaru untied his sash, removed his white silk top and then moved to sit the bed, which canopy curtains were pulled back with light blue sheer bands. Kagome had to keep herself from staring upon seeing his chiseled chest and firm back.
“he is absolutely perfect, like a god…”
Before Kagome moved towards Sesshoumaru she took a deep breath and then moved on the bed to sit beside him with her legs under her. She placed her hands upon the stub where Sesshoumaru’s arm once had been. Closing her eyes she concentrated her healing powers to her hands. Sweat stared to appear on her forehead and Sesshoumaru was about to tell her to stop when he was blinded by a bright pink light and his arm began to tingled. Suddenly he felt as if his arm was being pulled and stretched. When the light faded Sesshoumaru once again had his left arm.
“Thank you, Kagome,” Sesshomaru said as he started at his arm in disbelief.
“Your welcome,” Kagome replied as she took a deep breath.
“Rest, if you need to miko.”
“No, I’m fine I just need a moment.”
Sesshoumaru nodded in response. He then put on his top back on, feeling the soft velvet feel of the silk on his newly formed arm, as he rose from the bed.
After a few seconds Kagome looked back up at the Lord before and smiled.
Sesshoumaru nodded, but thought to himself “That smile is on the face of a human, but her spirit is as fiery as female youkai. how is that possible? ”
“Kagome, where are you from?”
“I’m…um… I can’t answer that question.”
“Wench you will answer my question ”
“ARE WE BACK TO THE WENCH THING? ”
“Answer my question,” he growled at her.
“I’M FROM THE FUTURE,” Kagome clasped her mouth realizing what she just said.
“The future… that explains a lot of things.”
“What is that suppose to mean?”
“You clothes are wear different and you act a lot different than any human I have ever seen. You carry human emotions and yet you have the fiery spirit of a youkai female. You could also be as strong as one, with the proper training of course.”
“I don’t know whether to consider that a compliment or not”
“It is a compliment Lady Kagome.”
“Why ‘Lady’?”
“You have earned my respect, but be aware of the fact that I’ll call you a wench if you are disrespectful,” he explained.
Kagome nodded in response before she once again smile at the youkai lord.
“There is that smile again…”
“I know you care deeply for my half-brother Kagome. And for what it is worth i am sorry for your loss... I’ll see you later Lady Kagome,” Sesshoumaru said before he opened the shoji and walked out, closing the door behind him.
“How can something so cold, be so hot? He is perfect, especially now that he has both arms. I could get use to this…
Suddenly the shoji doors open and a little girl came running into the room and jumped onto the bed to hug Kagome.
“Are you ok pretty lady?”
“Yes, you were right, Sesshoumaru-sama took care of me,” Kagome replied as she hugged the little girl. “Come on lets go back to the garden and we can make those crowns.”
Rin’s brown shined bright as she jumped of the bed, pulling Kagome towards the door.
The two spent the rest of the day in the garden playing games and making flower jewelry. Up in the library Sesshoumaru looked out the window at the two humans played in the garden. He watched another smile appeared on Kagome’s round face and he thought “That is a smile not of a miko, but a fiery spirit, called Kagome. I wish she would always smile that.I wish I could make her smile like that.”

Okay another Chapter, i know it is a little short. But none the less it is a chapter. Sorry not to many loving moments in this one. Anyway,what do you think please review and rate this fic!
