When Two hearts beat as one

Rin was looking directly into Sesshomaru's seemingly emotionless eye's.
"Lord Sesshomaru" Rin gasped in surprise
"Rin I have to talk to you about something very important" Sesshomaru said sitting on Rin's bed
"What is it My Lord" Rin said walking over and sitting on her bed next to him
"It seems as though you are unhappy about something, may I ask what is troubling you?"
"I am happy My Lord why would I not be?" Rin said faking her normal cheerfulness
"Rin I know that you are saddened by our relationship" Sesshomaru's while Rin turned her head as to not see his face, Sesshomaru put two fingers under her chin and lead her face back to meet his.
"My Lord please" Rin said tears glazing over her eyes
"Rin please stop crying"
"I'm sorry my lord" Rin said drying her tears with her kimono sleeve
"Rin" Sesshomaru said and her eyes immediately went to his eyes, he slowly leaned down and kissed her sweet lips softly, Rin was shocked that she didn't respond so Sesshomaru started to pull away Rin immediately notice this and put her hands around his neck and brought his face back down to her where she kissed him passionately while running her fingers threw his silvery locks.They both pulled away.
"Lord Sesshomaru why did you do that?" Rin asked
"Because I love you Rin" Sesshomaru said
"You don't know how long I've waited to hear you say those words, I love you to" Rin said as tears slowly trailed down her face.
"Rin will you be my Mate and my Wife" Sesshomaru asked
"Yes, of course I will, but I thought inu-youkai mate not marry" Rin said with a puzzled look
"Well that's why I will be taking you as my mate and my wife, Since I need to marry you in human customs since you are a human but in my culture I will need to mate you for life that is why we have to mate and marry" Sesshomaru said
"That is fine with me as long as I get to be with you forever" Rin said smiling
"You will have my my length in life so you will die when I do"
"As long as I am with you" Rin said as she embraced him and her ran his claws threw her silky hair.
"The wedding will be held in to days and all of your things will be moved into my chambers in the morning" Sesshomaru said
"Would you mind if I asked Rumiko to help me plan" Rin asked in more of a yawn than a voice
"No I would not mind, are you tired Rin?" Sesshomaru asked, Rin nodded sesshomaru took her by the hand and lead her to his Chamber were he sent a maid to get Rin's nightgown, when the maid came back Rin changed and got into bed with Sesshomaru, she put her head on his chest and he put an arm around her waist and for the first time in a long time they both slept peacefully.
When Rin awoke she opened her eye's expecting another body to be lying next to her but instead there was an empty space.She looked around the room and on the nightstand she found breakfast and a beautiful red rose.She quickly ate and walked over to the Armour where all over her possessions now were, she took out a plain lilac kimono and tucked the rose behind her ear.Rin walked to Sesshomaru's study were she knocked on the wooden door.
"Come" Sesshomaru's voice came from inside the office, Rin walked in she saw Sesshomaru looking down at a pile of papers.
"Hello" Rin said
"Good morning, did you sleep well?" Sesshomaru asked
"Yes I did" Rin said walking around his desk and giving him a light kiss on the cheek, but before she could walk back around the desk she was grabbed by the waist and pulled into Sesshomaru's lap.Rin looked at him in surprise but all she got was a smirk he leaned in and kissed her passionately,He sucked on her bottom lip then he traced her top lip with his tongue silently asking for her to open her mouth and without hesitation she complies, there tongues battle each other in a fierce dance both hoping to win dominance over the other but neither coming out as the victor. They pull apart and Rin puts her head on Sesshomaru's shoulder, just content in staying there with each other.Rin unwillingly parted from Sesshomaru's lap and walked around the desk.
"I have to go and ask Rumiko if she would like to help me plan"Rin said
"I will see you later in our chambers" Sesshomaru said
"Yes, until then" Rin said exiting the study, while sesshomaru resumed his paperwork.
When Rin got to Takeshi and Rumiko's Chambers she knocked on the door, when know one answered she was about to leave when the door opened to reveal a very flustered looking Rumiko.
"I'm sorry did I interrupt something?" Rin asked already knowing the answer to her question from seeing a naked Takeshi barely covered by a blanket.
"No, it's perfectly fine what was it that you needed?" Rumiko asked smiling at Rin
"I just wanted to ask you if you would like to help me plan a wedding?" Rin said
"Yes, I would love to" Rumiko said
"Meet me in the front hall in an hour" Rin said walking away
An hour later Rin was waiting in the front hall for Rumiko, a few minutes later Rumiko tapped Rin on the shoulder.
"Ready to go" Rin asked
"Yeah" Rumiko said smiling warmly at Rin
They walked to the carriage.
"What do we need Rin?" Rumiko asked
"We need a Kimono, Candles and invitations" Rin said
"Okay, Will go get the Kimono first" Rumiko said
"That's fine with me" Rin said, they both stepped out of the carriage and they walked to a kimono shop that was rumored to have the finest kimonos in all of Japan.When they walked in they were met with a young women that could not have been older than eighteen.
"Hello, What can I help you with" The girl said
"Yes, we would like the finest bridal kimono you have" Rin said,the girl walked around and grabbed one Kimono box and brought it to them, she opened the box and inside was the most exquisite kimono Rin had ever seen.
"It is made of Kasuri silk, with gold thread and it's embroidered with small white pearls" The girl said putting the kimono back in the box.
"Will take it" Both Rin and Rumiko said at the same time
"Do you know how expensive this kimono is?" The girl said
"No and I don't think either of us truly cares" Rin said
"Well I truly think you should" The girl said
"Do you know who we are" Rumiko asked
"No, should I ?" The girl asked
"Yes, you should, I am Lady Rumiko of the East and this is Lady Rin of The West" Rumiko said in an agitated tone
"I'm sorry My Ladies" The girl said bowing in respect to the two women
"Can you just please tell me how much this kimono is so we can leave" Rin said
"Yes the kimono is thirty-five thousand yen" The girl said, Rin handed the girl her money and left with the kimono in hand.They went to the candle shop next, when they entered to see a young man in his early thirties.
"Hello, ladies how can I help you?" The man said
"Can you give me 200 silver dipped candles" Rin said, the man gave her a shocked face.
"Yes, I will be right back" The man went to the back of the store and came out with a crate filled with the candles.
"How much will that be?" Rumiko asked
"two-thousand yen" The man said, Rumiko handed the man his money and they left with there purchase.Next they went the printers where they found an old man sitting there.
"How may I help you" The old man said
"Yes we would like wedding invitations printed"
"What do you want written on them and how many?"
"We would like five hundred invitations and we would like you are invited to Lord Sesshomarus and Lady Rin's wedding" Rin said
"Sorry I will not serve demon whores" the man said in a disgusted tone
"Yes you will serve us and who are you calling demon whores. I am the lady of the west and this is the lady of the east and we will not be talked down to do you understand me!" Rin yelled
"Maybe our mates will have to hear about this" Rumiko said, Rin and Rumiko walked out and to another printer they did get there invitation.When they arrived back at the castle they went to the place in the garden where the wedding will take place.
"It seems as though everything is taken care of, why don't we go spend some quality time with out men" Rumiko said smiling at Rin
"That sounds like a wonderful idea" Rin said also smiling, when they got to inside the castle the women went there separate ways.Rin went to her chambers and Rumiko went to hers.
When Rin opened the door she saw Sesshomaru sitting in the corner at his desk writing on some documents.She went over to him and put her arms around him and buried her head in his neck, she started to kiss his neck.
"I missed you" Rin said into his ear
"And I you" Sesshomaru said, suddenly Sesshomaru felt tears rolling down his skin
"Rin, why are you crying" Sesshomaru asked turning around and taking Rin in his arms.
"It's just something someone said to Rumiko and I" Rin said trying her best to dry her tears
"What was said to you?"
"We were called demon whores" Rin said breaking out in tears again, Sesshomaru held her close and from the outside he looked cold and detached but in the inside he was seething with anger.
"Who said this to you?"
"The printer Rumiko and I went to for the invitations"
"Rin you are The Lady of the Western Lands you are no demon whore do you understand me?" Sesshomaru said sternly while stroking her hair
"Yes" Rin said, then she leaned up and kissed him lightly
"I think it is time for bed, don't you?" Sesshomaru said, Rin nodded her head she broke away from the embrace and walked to he Armour and pulled out her nightgown, she put it on and got into bed. While she was putting her nightgown on sesshomaru put on his own silk pajama pants and got into bed next to.Rin snuggled in to his chest while he put an arm around her waist, they both fell in to a dreamless sleep.
