As dawn awoke the next morning, Shippo watched eagerly for the rising ball of flames. He watched the ping and purple colors wash valiantly at the fleeting darkness, hiding the sparkling diamonds of the wind behind the blue haze of day.

The creature had all but its head covered, allowing Shippo to see the demons long silvery hair fanning out from the head, which hovered just atop the foggy water. Despite the fog, the fox was sure the demon blushed a bright red, bluish grey eyes pierced through the silver hair.

“Hello...?” said the slightly annoyed Youkai, tapping the creatures head lightly.

“Ow!” Yelped the demon as she pulled from the water! Her hair fell back as she flung her head, holding the area Shippo pawed at painfully, “Don’t you know how to treat a lady you runt?”

The girl really had not right to call Shippo a runt. Shippo took note of her small size, and noted the dog ears on her head, which he failed to notice before. Before you ask, No, I have no idea where this idea came from. For anyone who may be gay and reading this story, I am sorry that you may have thrown up during, or after the last chapter.
