Things that Happen
Tsuki: thank you I was hopping it would sound that way.
Labelle: Here it is!
Hermonine: I very much thank you for your complement, it all helps.
Every one else who has read my story, thank you! Even though you don’t review, the number of hits my story has encourages me as well!

“Heh, yeah, demons.” Kagome said, still holding her head. She heard a group of people running towards where they were.
“There they are!” she heard a man yell. “Look Inuyasha is awake!” a shout of surprise from all of the people who had come to see them.
“Let me through so that I may see,” an old woman’s voice said. Kagome looked up to see a very old woman dressed like a miko with one eye covered by an eye patch step forward. She looked at Inuyasha pinned to the tree, then to Sesshoumaru and lastly at the three gathered a bit away. “My!” she exclaimed, “There’s also a human girl here.”
“Yeah, hey human girl,” Inuyasha called to Kagome, “Come take this arrow out of me so I can escape this bore of a human group.” Kagome didn’t know what to do, she looked to the dragon demon that seemed to be taking care of her and it nodded to Sesshoumaru. She looked at the great demon and he barely even glanced at her, so she took this as a yes.
Kagome stood and walked to the tree. Stepping up on some vines she took the offensive thing from the body of the man. Immediately he shoved her back onto the ground, getting a grunt from her as she hit the hard dirt. The dragon came and knelt beside her, inviting her to mount. Kagome, who still thought this was a dream, complied and sat in the beautiful saddle.
“So long, idiots!” Inuyasha took off over the tree tops, now that he was finally free from his imprisonment to the tree. He was soon out of sight of every one in the little clearing. Kagome had a thousand different emotions running through her at this time and just sat, starring blankly at nothing.
“I ask ye to leave this place, Sesshoumaru, we wish for no trouble.” The old miko spoke to the tall white demon.
“Come Jaken.” Sesshoumaru said as if he didn’t know the humans were there. “We will return home.” A strange cloud materialized at Sesshoumaru's feet, and he was lifted in to the air, Jaken scrambling for a place beside his lord.

They soon came in view of a large old Japanese castle, three stories in height. Kagome was clinging to the saddle for her life as if she would fall off at any moment. When they were over the castle grounds, the dragon, AhUnn as she had learned, took off in another direction, veering to the right. Sesshoumaru and Jaken continued to the main building.
AhUnn landed them in a small off to the side courtyard, where funny looking people came out to serve the dragon. Most wore cloths that looked uniform all a deep blue with a gold insignia on the left breast. Some wore clothes that were nicer and were bossing the others around. This was obviously a house full of servants. But it wasn’t the old style clothing of theirs that confused Kagome, but the look of them. There were people with yellow eyes and a less rare blue, and they all had pointed ears. Some were sprouting tails and other wings out of their heads. And still others didn’t have human faces at all, rather they were cat like or dog like. One even had a bird’s beak where their nose and mouth should have been.
“Come down miss,” a small boy? Or man said to her, holding out his hand. He had green skin and scaly hands. His eyes reminded Kagome of a waiting to strike snake, or maybe that was her imagination. She slid off her mounts back, trying to keep her skirt from ridding up, and took the males hand. She was lead over to a bench and put there to watch and stay out of the way of the working people? Demons? way.
Kagome watched as AhUnn was stripped of his saddle, wiped down and lead away. The girl felt forgotten as everyone else disappeared into different buildings to finish what ever chores they had to do. The excitement of the day had finally caught up with her, and she dozed off.
