Hidden in the trees...

Chapter 4
“INUYASHA WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?” yelled an outraged Kagome. “I WAS WORRIED SICK ABOUT YOU!” Kagome was close to tears as she said this. When she saw that Inuyasha was hardly paying attention to her, she couldn’t take it anymore.
“SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT!” Inuyasha was at least 8 feet into the ground by now and was getting more upset by the second. He growled and with a bit of difficulty he hoisted himself out of the hole and was about to lash out at Kagome until he smelled something.
‘That scent….who is it? It smells familiar....’ thought Inuyasha who was sniffing the air. That's when it hit him. Inuyasha’s eyes narrowed and he growled once again. ‘The wolf demons…Koga…’ thought Inuyasha as he snarled. Kagome didn’t seem to notice so she and the gang, with the exception of Inuyasha, went to fish at the lake for their dinner.
In less than 3 minutes, Koga showed up looking as arrogant and haughty as ever. “Hey mutt! Where’s Kagome?” shouted Koga to Inuyasha who was sitting on a boulder watching Koga with cold eyes.
Inuyasha looked at Koga again and then turned away acting as if he wasn’t even there. Koga got annoyed and jumped onto the boulder that Inuyasha was sitting on and grabbed the front of Inuyasha’s haori.
“Let go of me.” Inuyasha said in a quiet voice. Koga thought that Inuyasha wasn’t acting like his usual self. Actually Inuyasha was acting like someone else….but who it was he didn’t know...or couldn’t remember.
Koga was right, Inuyasha wasn’t acting like himself. For some reason Inuyasha didn’t feel like fighting Koga. He was thinking of his brother and of their next meeting. He thought that if he just ignored Koga then maybe he’d leave him alone.
Koga kept thinking who Inuyasha reminded him of…and then… ‘Of course…I should have known’… Koga thought. ‘Sesshoumaru…’ Koga remembered his last encounter with Inuyasha’s older brother and recognized the way that Inuyasha was acting was like his older brother.
Koga also noticed Sesshoumaru’s scent on Inuyasha. He smirked and said, “Well, well, well Inuyasha. It seems that you’ve been spending quite some time with your big bro huh?” At this Inuyasha’s eyes widened, then narrowed.
Koga saw this and raised an eyebrow while letting go of Inuyasha haori. Koga also noticed the faint blush on Inuyasha’s features and smirked even more. The reason why Inuyasha was blushing like that he didn’t know. ‘Curious…’ he thought.
Inuyasha saw the thoughtful look on Koga’s face and blinked. Koga looked like he was spacing out so Inuyasha sighed and said, “What do you want, Koga?” Apparently, Koga snapped out of it and said with a bit of annoyance in his voice for being interrupted while thinking, “What I want, Inuyasha is Kagome!”
As he said this Kagome and the rest of the gang were coming back from fishing and they all saw Koga. “Koga? What are you doing here?!” asked Kagome, who was surprised to say the least.
“Kagome!” Koga exclaimed. Inuyasha just rolled his eyes. Suddenly something caught Inuyasha’s eye. ‘What was that?’ he thought. Then a thought occurred to Inuyasha. ‘Sesshoumaru? No…it can’t be...it hasn’t even been 5 hours yet…is he watching me? Odd’
‘Heehee! Awww Inuyasha looks so cute!’ It turns out, Inuyasha was right, there was something or someone watching him…but it wasn’t his brother. The little figure stood behind the trees, hiding their scent.
‘Ohhhhhh I wonder who those other people are?’ the little figure cocked its head to the side and looked at the group thoughtfully. ‘Hmmm…heehee I’m sure they wouldn’t mind if I played a few….tricks on them!’ with that stuck in their head the little sneak ventured off preparing to set a few pranks.
