Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's Romance

Later that night, Inuyasha awoke by some sound. When he looked over he saw Katana sitting up with her hand on her head.

”Hey. You okay?” She looked over at him.

”Do… Do I know you?” She asked really confused.

”Yeah, we met yesterday. Do you not remember?” He sat up.

”No… I… I guess I don’t…”  She felt warmth on the hand that was on her head and looked at it, there was blood. “What happened to me? The last thing I remember is walking through the woods, then meeting this cat-demon.” Inuyasha pointed to the dead cat-demon.

”That one?” She looked at it.

”Yeah! That’s the one!”

”Well, I hate to say this, but she was controlling you. She made you kiss me and made me kiss you back. This is my love, Kagome and I’m Inuyasha. Is your name really Katana?” Kagome started to open her eyes. 

”Inuyasha. Are you feeling any better?” She said in a drowsy voice. He looked in her eyes and smiled.

”Yes love, thank you. Ummm. This is Katana. She’s Hanyou, just like me.” Then he tried to stand up, but he was still wounded, so he just ended up falling back down. He growled with pain.

”Inuyasha!” Kagome said, frustrated that he would even try to stand up in his condition. “Don’t move!” She lowered her voice. “You’re still wounded. Please, just be careful. I almost lost you.” Her eyes began to water up. “If that were to ever happen I…”

”Don’t worry.I’m not going anywhere for a very long time.” He said sweetly, then wiped away her tears. 

”So, you two are all in love with each other and stuff?” Asked Katana. 

”Yeah. I love Inuyasha with all my heart.” Replied Kagome.

”Aww. That’s so… Gross! Your not allowed to speak any more.Just no. Shut up!”

”So, it wasn’t the curse that made you this way. It was you?” Asked Inuyasha with hope.

”Yep.” She said with pride.

”Ooooh. I like it.” Then he smirked. “So, where did you come from? I’ve never seen you around here before.” She stood up, then walked over to a little stream. She put her hands in the water and splashed it on her face.

”It’s not important… I… Never mind.” She splashed more water on her. Inuyasha’s ears moved down.

”Don’t you have a family”Someone to look out for you? Or… Are you all alone?”

”I… I’m alone, but if you start feeling sorry for me then I’ll cut off all that pretty hair of yours.” Inuyasha took off the top part of his kimono and saw it was soaked in blood. He tossed it over Katana in the stream.

”Can you rinse that off for me, then throw it over that tree?” Katana nodded, then did as she was asked. Kagome stood up and walked over next to Katana, put her hands in the water and splashed some on her face. Then she got a small cloth out of her back-pack and put it in the water, then went back over to Inuyasha and put it on his head. “Stop babying me!” Then he knocked her hand away. “I’m just fine!” Kagome looked down and started to squeeze the water out of the cloth. Then she stood up and put it over a tree to dry. She picked up her backpack and walked into the woods.

”Inuyasha?” Katana said.

”What!?” He yelled, angrily.

”I just wanted to tell you that love like that is hard to find and you shouldn’t take it for granted!” Then she walked off.

”What was I suppose to say?!” But she was already gone. Inuyasha jumped up in a tree and started to think about what he has with Kagome and what he could have with Katana. What am I doing thinking of Katana this way? I’m in love with Kagome. Aren’t I? How can I even question myself about that? What’s wrong with me? She’s right. How can I just take Kagome’s love for granted? I know. I’ll take her on a long romantic walk, cuddle with her in my tree, and take a hot bath in the hot springs. Then I’ll tell her how I really feel. I’ll tell her how much I love her.  But before he could jump down he fell into a deep sleep.
