Chapter 3 The News


At the Den

They had just been there for at least a good 15 minutes when Inuyasha started showing his childish
side."Inuyasha,why do you have to be so childish?"Kagome asked alittle anoyed."I am not childish.I
just spoke the truth."Inuyasha shot back."Whatever Inuyasha." Kagome replyed and went back to playing
with Shippou and the wolf pups.

Kouga watched with amusment at how Kagome changed emotions so fast.He looked on with a smile
as Kagomeplayed with the pups and the Kitsune kit.He loved her for her maternity instincts she has
and her heart that seemed bigger than the Earth itsefl.What hewouldnt do to have her at his side forever;
but hewould wait for fate to take its course,and she come to him willinglly.

Inuyasha didn't like the fact that Kagome was playing with the wolf cubs,or the fact that Kouga was staring
at her lovingly.He also didn't like being ignored."Whats the matter Inuyasha?"Kagome asked taking him out
of his thoughts."It's nothing." Inuyasha replyed. He didn't want her to know what really was on his mind."Okay"
With that said she went back to the children.

At Naraku's Castle

Naraku watched on as the Miko played with the children.He had been waiting for the right time to start his plan.
"Kikyou, my dear,we will start our plan now."Naraku said to the Dark Miko waiting for an answer."As you wish My Love."
Kikyou replyed taking the shard and leaving.Now his plan will be set into action.He watched through Kanna's mirror
to see how they react.


Outside the Den

Inuyasha's Ears twiched some one was near.Then he smelt who it was and relaxed."Kouga, Kikyou is coming."
inuyasha said. They waited for a while till she finally come upon them."InuYasha Naraku has the rest of the jewel."
She said in a false scared voice"But I was able to get this one before he did thankfully"She handed Inuyasha the
sharedthen steped back."He also sent a message through the beast. He said the final battle will be in two weeks
and to prepare thy selves for a grewsome battle."She walked off into the distance and said under her breath just so
the two demons(Writer: If you consider Inuyasha one cuz of his blood.)to hear."Kami help us all if one of you was
to fail."


"Well let us get the food and hurry to the others they would want to hear whats going to go down." Kouga said.
They then got the food they needed and raced backto the den."Whats the matter did something happen while you
two were hunting?"Kagome asked concern edging her voice."The final battle is upon us in two weeks time.Naraku has
the rest of the shards."Kouga answered pulling Kagome into his arms.Kagome layed her head on his shoulder."Shit
I thought we had more time than this."Kagome said."I thought so too,but I guess not."Kouga hugged her tighter to him.


A growl rang through the air.............
