Chapter 4

A/N: I just love to get reviews from my readers, they make me happy and make me wanna write more. For a little bit of a heads up there is gonna be one any and resentful Kagome on our hands in this chapter.


After seeing what she had Kagome ran, as fast and far as her slender legs would carry her. Looking back in the direction of which she had just ran she let out a sob as she jumped back into the bone eaters well. When she was engulfed by the blue light she began to sob. 'How could he do this to me?' she asked her self over and over again. She loved Inuyasha so much, that to see him in another persons arms was unbearable. Not to mention the fact that the person he was holding so lovingly was his own brother... his evil, cold-hearted, munipulative brother. Kagome ran through the house untill she was in her room safely locked away.She began to grow mad 'If I can't have him then nobody will' she thought cackling to herself. She got back up and headed for the bone eaters well once more. She had a plan for Sesshomaru and Inuyasha, they would pay for her pain.

Back in the forest...

Inuyasha woke up first and looked down at his brother and kissed him softly on his forehead. Sesshomaru stirred and rolled over "let me sleep" he muttered groggily as he made himself confortable against his brother's chest. Inuyasha sighed and pushed the hair away for Sesshomaru's eyes. "We needed to get back, mother and father will worry" he whispered kissing Sesshomaru's cheek. He groan and got up looking at his brother with an annoyed look. "Don't be mad" Inu said, he started to sniff the air and in curiosity so did Sesshomaru. "Kags was here (he sniffed again) she was crying too" he muttered before leaping into the trees. Sesshomaru groan and followed his brother on the ground, he never liked Kagome much.

Back at the Castle...

"What on earth could be taking so long?" Inuyasha's mother asked worry seeping into her tone. She felt her husbands hands on her shoulders and melted into his touch "I'm sure they had a good reason, they probably needed to talk" he said to her holding her close to his chest. She sighed "I'm but a mother kio, I worry about them" she turned around to look into the amber eyes so loved so dearly. He nodded his head in agreement and led her to the dining room for breakfast. "They both think that the other hates them, they have much to discuss but I know that they both love each other" The great dog lord spoke softly to his wife. She looked at his quizzickaly "what ever do you mean?" she asked bemused. "They are almost here, let us see how they react towards one another" he said slyly. A servent walked past them "Good mornin lord, Good mornin lady" said the servent. The dog lord chuckled at this. "Kichuro, please go and prepare young Rin for breakfast and bring her downstairs for me" he said. The women just nodded her head and headed for the young girl in question.

Outside...

Inuyasha jumped down from the trees to walk along side his brother, Sesshomaru smiled. "Should we tell them?" he muttered into Sesshomaru's arm as he latched him arm around it. "I think that father already knows puppy" Inuyasha frowned "only you can call me that sess, and in private" he mumbled. That caused Sesshomaru to laugh "what ever you say mate" he said pulling Inuyasha into his embrace. Inuyasha immedialty flung his arms around Sesshomaru's neck. He hesitated relcutantly and finally pushed back Sesshomaru's shirt a bit. He looked at his brother's neck and dove in on it taking his sharp fangs and puncturing the soft flesh. When he was done, Sesshomaru was a bit in shock "mine forever" he heard Inuyasha as they began to walk again.
When they walked into the the dining room they were both stopped by to crying women. The first was Inuyasha's mother "Aww...your both alright, why were you away for so long? why didn't you tell some one you were leaving?" they both sighed. The second young women was Rin who ran up to Sesshomaru and jumped into his arms "My lord are you alright?" she wailed and Sesshomaru set her back on her feet gently. They both looked around and said "We're fine" their father looked at them and squinted his eyes, then smiled at his two sons. "Well sone Inuyasha" he stated, after having slightly seen Sesshomaru's mating mark. Inuyasha bow slightly realizing what his father was talking about as he and Sesshomaru took seats beside each other at the table.

Keade's Village...

"Lady Sango!" Kagome shouted over to her friend as she ran into the village. Sango looked up to see Kagome running towards her. "Hey Kags, what brings you here?" asked Sango. Kagome's face filled with anger and hurt as she looked to her friend with tears in her eyes. Sango was stunted "Kagome what's wrong" she asked helping her friend inside the hut. Kagome sobbed as she took a seat on one of the pillows next to her friend "It's Inuyasha...he's...in love...(sobs) with...Sesshomaru!" she wailed into her friends shoulder. Realization hit Sango hard 'that's why he left, to find Sesshomaru' Sango embraced her friedn untill she stopped crying. "Sango will you go with me?" she heard Kagome whimper. Sango looked at her blankly "Go were Kags?" she asked bemused as Kagome hurriedly got up. "To the castle of the weastern lands" he shot back annoyed. She shook her head "Kagome, why?" Sango asked following her friend as she speeded away from her." I have to know why he did this to me, I can't rest untill I know why he betrayed me" she shout bakc over her shoulder. Sango ran after her friend as they speed walked their way towards the castle.

Back at the castle...

"I don't trust her puppy" Sesshomaru stated as he rested his head on Inuyasha's chest. Inuyasha was confused "Trust who kio?" he asked looking down at Sesshomaru with questioning eyes. "Kagome" he said with a snarl. Inuyasha was taken back "She's my friend love, you have to learn to trust her" Inuyasha said firmly."I find it qestionable that even though she found you yesterday, she did not apporach, she was crying, adn by the looks of it she ran away" Inuyasha sighed."She might still have feelings for me" Inuyasha muttered under his breath but Sesshomaru growled possesivly "she's not the only one who possesive" he snarled sinking in deeper into Inuyasha's chest. "I'm not going anywhere, we'll she what she wants when she gets here" he said reasuringly. Sesshomaru finally caught what Inuyasha said, he sniffed the air. "She's here" he muttered "Let's not keep her waiting" Inuyasha said pulling him and his love off of his bed.

A/N: I have great things planned, and there's gonna be a lot of screaming when Kagome sees Sessh and Inu, and even more yelling when she realizes two other things!
