Chapter 4
A/N * Short one. Really short. Sorry. Will finish story this weekend. I promise.*
Disclaimer: I don't own any of these characters, although this silly blanket fic is mine.

Kagome huddled in the corner of the rickety hut shivering. She was feeling sorry for herself.
“I wish InuYasha was here. He’d probably yell at me but at least I wouldn’t be alone. I hate being alone. I am sooo cold.”
The wind was picking up and the hut creaked and groaned. It was a terrible sound. Kagome shivered harder.
Suddenly the door to the hut flew open and banged against the inside wall wildly. It shocked Kagome onto her feet and had her stepping toward it to push it shut when a shadow fell over the floor. She let out a little shriek and shrank back against the wall.
The figure stalked across the floor toward the girl and slammed both hands alongside her head, pinning her in the corner. Kagome gasped and threw her hands up against his chest as if to push him away. But she didn’t.
“Why are your feet wet, Wench?"
The wind howled around them and the door continued to bang. Kagome stared at InuYasha for a moment. She visibly pulled herself together and his ears flattened in preparation. But she didn’t yell at him. She didn’t scream. She didn’t oswari him into the floor a hundred times. Instead, she threw her arms around his neck and held on tight.
InuYasha froze. She was hugging him! Kagome was hugging him! He started to blush.
“Oh, InuYasha. I’m so glad you are here. There was this body. It was dead and it was swinging from a tree and the smell was terrible and I was so scared and I came back early, I was done my tests and I wanted to hunt for more jewel shards and then I was walking to Kaede’s and then I tripped and I lost my backpack and I screamed your name but you didn’t hear me and then this shadow...”
“Oiy, wench, stop your jabbering, your not makin’ any sense. I know all about your back pack. How do you think I found you?” He trailed off.
“You went there? InuYasha I love you! Give it to me, I have dry socks and my sweater, and... InuYasha? Why are you looking away? Where is my backpack? You did say you had my backpack right? RIGHT?!” she shrieked.
InuYasha tried to step back.
“Oswari”
