A/N:Thanks for reading my first story.There will be some character deaths later in the story and I plain to make it a long one.There are many original characters in this story. This will be the only story I will be working on for the time being, so that it can get my full dedication.Please review, be honest but not harsh,any rudeness and I'll bite back(I'm not sweet).There will be lemon later in the story, but be patient

" I thought I heard your sweet voice."He said giving Sango a hug.

"I have something to tell you.Come with me."She pulled him into their house.
"Miroku I love you."
He cut in "And I lo..." Sango stopped him before he could finish.
"Sh... I'm pregnant."

"What?"Miroku said grining

"I am going to have your baby." Miroku piked her up and spun her around "This is wonderful. Are you sure this time?"

"That is what took me and Kagome so long we were finding out for sure."

"Praise Buddha."

"You are happy then."

"Yes of course. We should talk to Kaede,she can help with the birth. We need to think of names and make a room for him and"

"Slow down Baby, you are getting ahead of yourself and we don't know if it's a boy. It could very well be a girl."She said to him.

"You are right we should think of girl names to. How about Myrtal?"

"No! Mabe you should stick to the boy names and let me, probably with some help from Kagome pick girl names."

"Sounds good to me. I'm the happiest and luckiest man in the world."

"Men find out these things all the time."

"Yeah,but those men don't have the most beautiful wife in the world."

"I'm not the most beautiful."

"Yes maybe you are right."He looked her up and down a couple of times."No,I have to say that you are wrong on this one. You are definitly the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on and I have seen alot." At him saying this Sango blushed.


They went back outside. Miroku ran over to Inuyasha. " I'm going to be a father!"

Inuyasha smirked at him. "Well,well,congratulations monk you are finally getting what you wanted."

"You are right I have it all." He turned around and went into Kaede's house. Everyone else followed. When they walked in Kaede was busy cooking. When she saw them she turned around and spoke. "Sango, Kagome, it is good to see you."

"Good evening,Grandma Kaede." Sango gave her a hug.

"It is great to see you back from your trip Grandma Kaede."Kagome said also giving her a hug .Kaede had went to the west to get some special herbs for healing.

"Grandma what are you cooking it smells good?" Shippo said licking his lips.

"It is roast boar with vegetables. I am fixing enough for everyone if you all would like to stay."

"Sounds good to me, anything is better than Kagome's cooking." Inuyasha said lifting the lid to the pot to have a better look.

"Hey! We all know I am not the best cook, but do you have to say it out loud. I try my best."she looked kind of hurt.

"I know you do. Don't cry it isn't that bad."He said looking sorry.

"Don't lie to make me feel better. It really is that bad."

"So Sango you look different. Do you have something to tell me? Maybe about a child." Some how Kaede could tell that she was with child.

" But how can you can tell ? Yes, I am pregnant."

"So it is true. I saw an old friend yesterday and she spoke to me about all of you like she knew you. Eventhough she has never met any of thee, for she has the sight. She spoke of your children and said that the demon exterminator was now with child. Also she spoke of Kagura and Jade. Telling me that the chidren of prophecy would soon be born and that each of your children would be very special. She said that one would be more poweful then all of them . Also that one who is very evil and thouhgt to be gone has not gone but left to look for his child who is almost as powerful as the one. She said that the child was unknown to him for the mother wanted to keep him away so that he would not be tainted with such evil. For the father is evil and hated even among demons. A little more than a year and 1/2 ago he found out about the child and its extraodinary gifts. Then he left so that he could find the child and mold it to his will. For he is powerful but the child is more powerful then he could ever wish or dream to be even with the power of the Shikon Jewel. If this child is tainted with such evil it will start a chain of events that will end the world as we know it. I am now sure that she speaks the truth and am worried. My friend said she would come give a visit and discuss the children at anothr time."


"Evil demon who left about a year and 1/2 ago. Could it be that basterd? NARAKU!" Inuyasha's face was filled with rage as he shouted this.

"Damn! He always finds a way to mess things up." Everyone turned around it was rare for her to curse, Sango looked like all the joy had been pulled out of her. She put her face in her hands and began to cry.

"We will not allow him to take this form us do you hear me Sango. We will be happy and if he comes back we will deal with it then." Miroku said comforting his wife.

"He is right Sango. He has been gone for so long let's just forget about him and keep going on with our lives. If he comes back then we will deal with it then. Until that day we will be joyous."Kagome said to her as she went to give her a hug. Kaede quickly changed the subject seeing that she had caused Sango saddness. "So when is Sesshomaru and Jade coming to visit? He did tell you when you talked to him earlier did he not?"

"In a few days." Inuyasha said rubbing his stomach.

"Will Rin be coming with them? I want to know how much food to have."

"Yes, and Jaken is probably going to tag along to.I'm so hungry is it almost done" He said pointing at the pot that he had not taken his eyes off.

"Yes almost." She lifted the lid and stired the vegetables around.

"Rin, get up sweety." Jade went over to the young girl and gave her a little tap on the shoulder.

When she looked up she saw Jade's beautiful face looking down at her " I'm up. What smells so good?"

"It's breakfast. Would you go get Jaken and tell him it is time to eat? My feet are bothering me or I would do it myself."

"Sure Mama Jade. Would you like me to get Lord Sesshomaru as well?"

"He is not here. He went to talk to Inuyasha." She said sitting down at the table and rubbed her left foot.Her feet had swollen up two sizes form the pregnancy induced edema.

"Okay and after we eat I will rub your feet." She got up and ran out the door. It was raining and very cold. Through the rain she could see Jaken sitting under a tree looking sad and murmuring something to his self."My Lord why did you leave me behind. I think my Lady would be fine on her own, but yet you leave me here to look after her."

"You should be proud that he left you with such a responsibility. Jade is his most valued possession and he would only trust his most loyal to look after her and their unborn child." A soft voice said from behind him. He looked back to see Rin smiling at him."Jade said to come in and eat."

"You mean that she is up cooking instead of having the servants do it for her?"

"You know how indapendent she is so she has sent the servants away. Also don't let her know Lord Sesshomaru left you here for the soul fact of looking after her she will be upset and think that he is treating her like a child."

"Yes, but if something happens to her it will be my neck on the line. My Lord will surely kill me." He got up and ran towards the mansion with Rin at his heels. When he got in he could smell the most pleasent smell. Jade was up on her feet and getting plates ready."My lady you should sit down and let Rin get that."

"Don't be silly Jaken I have it. I'm pregnant not paralized and I can do things on my own. You and Sesshe Worry to much. Other pregnant women get along fine. Women have been pregnant before me and will be after it is a fact of life. So calm down."

Jaken mumbled under his breath."But those women didn"t have Lord Sesshomaru as a mate. My life is on the line here." But he knew better than to argue with her. For eventhough she was pregnant she was very strong. Though she was sweet if you kept pressing her she would flip out and become very anger at anyone, except for Rin. Especially if she thought you were being unresonable. Her temper could keep even Sesshomaru in line. Of course you would think that they would clash since Sesshomaru has a very bad temper as well but they go prefect together.

"Eat up. I worked hard on it." .You could have never guessed that she grew up as a princess in a castle. She wasn't spoiled eventhough she had gotten everything she ever wanted from the time birth. She would give up the shirt on her back for someone in need. But she gave up her family and life as a princess to be with Sesshomaru. Though she was only 19 she was wise beyond her years. Sesshomaru often said that she had an old soul.

"This taste like heaven Mama Jade." Rin said rolling her eyes in the back of her head and licking her lips. Mama Jade is what Rin called her . She was just like her mother, She took care of her and even read her bedtime stories then tucked her in.

"Yes, my Lady that was quite good." Jaken was already finished and was licking his plate.

"He,He.Thank you both. I am glad that my hard work paid off."She said getting up to take his plate to the washing basin.

"Sit down my Lady. I will get all of the plates for you." Jaken said raising quickly to his feet.

"Are you on that again?" She looked a little angry.

He had to think of a way to get the dishes from her without alarming her to the fact that he did not want her to be up on her feet."My Lady by no means. I just thought since you cooked, it would only be fair for me to get the dishes."

"And I will wash them." Rin jumped in.

"Thank you both. I guess it's only fair." She went and sat down in a large chair covered with the softest furs made just for her. Jaken wiped his forehead and let out a sigh of relief. When Rin was done he cleared the table and put the dishes in the washing basin. Then Rin commenced to washing them. When she was done she went over to Jade and sat on the floor in front of her.She reached down and pulled off Jade's silppers and began to rub her feet. Jade leaned back in her chair.

"That feels so good. You have magic fingers ."

"Thank you Mama Jade. I want to help your feet feel better."

"Can you wait to meet your new baby brother or sister?"

"No, I am real excited. I hope it is a girl so we can pick flowers together. What do you want it to be?"

" I do not care as long as it is healthy. Sesshy wants a boy."She closed her eyes and began to drift off. As soon as she had fallen all the way to sleep Sesshomaru came in.

"My Lord. you have returned."Rin said smiling.

"Shhh, I see you are taking good care of my precious gem."He whisperd.

"Yes,I am tring. Her feet are still bothering her and I hate to see her in pain. I know she is in pain. I can see that she is in her eyes eventhough she won't admit it." Rin had a good sence of reading peoples eyes.

"Yes she can be quite bullheaded at times. Let me take over for you." Rin got up and went to her room. Sesshomaru took off his fur wrap and sat were Rin sat before. He lifted Jade's foot and looked at it. He could tell that she had been on them for quite sometime. When he had left early that mornig they had been less swollen. He began to rub them starting with the ankle." I told her to stay off them."He whispered

" I'm not to good at taking orders you know." When he touched her she could tell the difference and had woken up.

"That you are not. Now why am I with you again?" He said smiling at her.

She leaned forward and into his face."Because I am the only woman who could beat your ass and you know that you like that I don't take orders."

"That is very true you are one in a million."

I know that you are thinking to yourself Sesshomaru acting like this. The ice prince showing so much affection and love. This might explain things for you . Well it happened about two years ago.
