A Fine Mess

Dear Readers,
I just want to say that I made Inuyasha a hermaphrodite because even with demon magic it would prevent Inuyasha from having some serious problems with birthing the baby. I personally don’t think having their child come out of Inuyasha’s behind would be the most favorable thing for him and to be honest knowing a little about anatomy it would not be the most sanitary way to give birth. I thought about c section, but I used that a lot in my other stories.
I consider this story as Male/Male because of the fact that Inuyasha really is not female. He will temporarily have attributes in order to give birth. He still has his male anatomy and that will not change. Inuyasha is definitely not a woman.
Also I didn’t want to drag out certain things forever. I figure there is enough angst in this story without having Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru talk over their feelings concerning their rape. Most men who have been assaulted in such ways rarely come out to say anything about it due to society showing males to be tough enough to handle anything. It isn’t fair and rape is not pleasant.
I was abused by my Father every day for 8 years straight. I think I know a little bit about how rape victims feel. It isn’t easy to talk about it, but you have to try to move on for your own sanity.
Right now Inuyasha is still dealing with Kagome’s death and after he get’s over that hurdle he will be able to move on to the other problems. Maybe even Sesshoumaru will bring up his experience although that is not very likely in this story.
Anyway, I am done with trying to defend myself here. My story is what it is and I am just glad that I still have so many people interested in it and I will add maybe a few more chapters. I really want to finish this one so I can keep going with my Love Everlasting story.

Sesshoumaru paced for what seemed like hours while his parents accused him of wearing a hole in the floor if he did not stop and breathe for a moment.

“Inuyasha has been in there too long damn it.”

Togaou watched his son with some amusement. It had not even been an hour since Inuyasha went into labor.

“Have patience son, Inuyasha is in good hands. I am sure we will soon hear the crying of your pup.”

Sesshoumaru usually was a very patient man, but right now he was on pins and needles wondering what the hell was going on in the birthing room at his Mother’s castle. The two mated young men were forced to come to her home since some of her servants were busy building up his castle which was lacking a birthing room as well as servants to assist the young Mother.

In the hallway you could hear Inuyasha cursing and growling then yelping a bit. It made Sesshoumaru want to tear down the door and see what was causing his mate to act like this. Inuyasha was using words that made even Sesshoumaru’s Mother blush.

Soon there came a cry of a baby and all the cursing was over.

“Now can I go see my mate?”

Sesshoumaru’s Father patted him on the shoulder.

“You have to wait until the servants come out and announce what gender your pup is to be. Let them also clean up your mate a bit and carry him to your chambers.’
“Do take care though my amorous son. Inuyasha will need a few days to heal before you are allowed intimate pleasures with him again.”

Sesshoumaru waved his Father’s warning off as he marched down the hallway to find out what was taking so damn long. Sesshoumaru grimaced at the smell of excrement, blood, and urine as he knocked on the door.

One of the young healers opened the door bowing to her Lord while others were cleaning up the mess and scrubbing the floor trying to get all the negative scents out of the room.

“Lord Sesshoumaru, you are the Father of a healthy baby girl. Both Mother and child will be awaiting you in your chambers.”

The girl stated as she bowed once again averting her eyes from his own as she was taught.

When Sesshoumaru got to his chambers he saw a lovely sight. Inuyasha was practically glowing under the morning sunlight as he sat nursing their pup.

Sesshoumaru walked over to the bed and looked at his daughter.

“We will have to try again Inuyasha. We need a boy to become my heir.”

Inuyasha pouted at Sesshoumaru.

“Maybe I don’t wanna have another one. That shit hurt.”

Sesshoumaru smirked at Inuyasha.

“I didn’t say we were going to do it today little mate.”

Inuyasha laid back against the pillows feeling completely drained and yet happier than he had been in many years. The birth of his daughter made Inuyasha feel like he could get past anything that life had to throw at him as long as he got to keep his little silver haired Angel.

After their baby girl finished nursing she yawned and started to snuggle into her Mother only to have her anxious Father pull her into his arms.

At first their daughter fussed a bit until Sesshoumaru wrapped the babe in his mokomoko letting the soft fur float over his child.

“She is absolutely beautiful and so tiny.”

Sesshoumaru mused as he nuzzled his little one realizing how very fragile she was.

“What are we going to name her?”

Inuyasha asked as Sesshoumaru sighed.

“Perhaps we should name her Himeko since she is a Princess or we can use Kazumi.”

Inuyasha thought about it for a moment.

“I like Himeko. I think if we have another girl we could call her Kazumi or perhaps Nishiko since she would be a Princess of the west.”

Sesshoumaru smiled and nodded his head.

“Himeko then will be her name.”

Sesshoumaru stated as he sat on the bed next to his mate.

Himeko wrapped her tiny fingers around the soft fur of her Father.

“I am going to call the servants soon to take her to the nursery and allow the healer to insure that she is of good health.”

Inuyasha pouted at that.

“I want to hold her longer Sesshoumaru. Why can’t we just sleep with her here?”

Sesshoumaru smiled at his mate.

“You need your rest Inuyasha and it is our servant’s job to watch over Himeko until you awaken. You need time to heal and I know you well enough to know you would stay wide awake with our pup rather than allow your body to find peace.’
“Besides I finished all of my duties for the day and would like to hold you for a while.”

Inuyasha snorted at that.

“That is not a good reason to send Himeko with the servants. My body will be fine. We are demons you know.”

Sesshoumaru ran his fingers through Inuyasha’s long hair then gave his mate a kiss on top of his head.

“Don’t be so stubborn Inuyasha. You will have plenty of time with Himeko. After all, our castle is still not completely built so Father and Mother are taking time to rule in our place for a while so that you may have your wish.”

Inuyasha then smiled.

“So we can raise our own daughter rather than having the servants or our parents do it?”

Sesshoumaru nodded yes. At that Inuyasha kissed his beloved mate on the lips with fever.

“Thank you.”

Inuyasha stated with a wide grin. Sesshoumaru smiled at his mate. It was always good to see Inuyasha happy and Sesshoumaru hoped to keep Inuyasha smiling as long as they were mated.

With that Sesshoumaru pulled a rope that rang for the nursemaids to come.

Soon there was a soft knock on the door.

Sesshoumaru bid the servant to enter.

A young demoness came into the room and bowed to the two Lords.

“My Lords, I am here for the pup as you ordered.”

Sesshoumaru gently handed his sleeping daughter to the nursemaid who cooed at the tiny infant as she took Himeko away to the nursery.

Inuyasha frowned a bit at having his beautiful pup taken so soon from him, but Sesshoumaru knew how to make Inuyasha happy again.

“Inuyasha, I was thinking, my old toys from when I was a child are not suitable for our daughter. Father made them for me and I was thinking perhaps you would enjoy helping me create a few for our daughter when you are well.”

Inuyasha smiled.

“I would like that, but I am not really skilled in that area.”

Sesshoumaru nodded.

“Well we can work on that. I am planning for you to receive a full education as well while we are here since Father’s library was destroyed in the fire. I was considering using Mother’s and I also think it would behoove you to learn some other languages especially our true Inu language since you were more or less raised by humans. I really want you to get in touch with your demon side.”

Inuyasha thought about that for a moment.

“Can I take my time with these things or is it something I have to do immediately? I mean I can understand that at some point I will be in court with you and to be honest I don’t really care for all that kind of crap, but I don’t want to look like an idiot either.”

Sesshoumaru nodded and then went to the other side of the bed taking off his boots so that he could lay with his mate.

“You may take all the time you need Inuyasha. We won’t be worrying about the courts for some time since Himeko will not be shown to the nobility until she is at least six months of age. Then Mother will insist on throwing a ball for her new Grandchild.”

Sesshoumaru stated as he pulled Inuyasha close to him so that he could cuddle with his beloved.

“I have never been to a grand ball. Is there going to be a lot of people? I am not real good with crowds and do these people know I am a hanyou? I don’t really want to be insulted anymore.”

Sesshoumaru frowned while running his fingers over Inuyasha’s hair as Inuyasha lay against his chest holding Sesshoumaru’s hand in his own.

“There will be a multitude of people, but anyone who bad mouth’s you will be punished or killed. I won’t allow you to be ridiculed by anyone. It is bad enough what I did to you before we were mated Inuyasha. I don’t wish that to be a part of our lives anymore.”

Inuyasha nodded and cuddled further into his mate yawning.

“I am so tired Sesshoumaru. Having our child really hurt. I thought you running your hand through my body hurt, but that was nothing compared to this.”

Sesshoumaru kissed his little mate on the forehead.

“It was worth it though was it not?”

Inuyasha nodded yes.

“We are not going to have to have another one right away do we?”

Sesshoumaru smiled.

“No, you are not to be a brood mare for me. I will give you time in between births, but do not be surprised if it does happen earlier than later. I am not going to give up my privileges to your beautiful body for long. Perhaps the healer might have something you can take for a while until we are ready again. However, even if she gives you something our powerful demon blood may reject it.’
“I am not saying this to frighten you, I am just stating that the honest truth. Would you be completely upset if you were to become with pup again?”

Inuyasha thought about it.

“No I would not be upset. I just would like to take our time. I know we both agree that we want a large family, I just hope that maybe we can spread the time in between pups so that we can have some adult time for ourselves.”

Sesshoumaru watched as Inuyasha yawned and stretched his muscles. Soon his eyes started to droop.

“Inuyasha it is ok for you to sleep now.”

Inuyasha smiled.

“Just stay with me for a while Sess; I don’t want you to go anywhere until I awaken.”

Sesshoumaru put his arm around his beloved little mate and watched as Inuyasha fell into a deep slumber.
