Too Much Time On Their Hands

After three weeks after the pups were born Inuyasha was being a pain in the ass about staying in bed. They practically had to tie him down since he hated being in lock down at the castle. Inuyasha sat pouting the biggest pout he could muster muttering at everyone and how people were still damn tyrants even if he wasn’t pregnant anymore.

Sesshoumaru and Megan were taken to a high security prison where they dispatched inmates of the worst kinds to the demons. Since there were contracts signed so that there was no liability to the prison with Sesshoumaru and Dr. Hojo.

The stupid fools of the prison thought perhaps they were getting a break since they were in solitary confinement most of the time. Instead they were taken in a large unmarked van into the woods then set loose for the hunt so that the demons could get the blood and sustenance they needed to heal their wounded mate. The only warning these fools were given was a soft deadly word from Sesshoumaru.

“Run.”

The idiots would stand looking stupid until the two demons changed into true form without the ‘smoke and mirrors’ routine showing their faces contort with the changes as well as their bodies. Then the chase was on. Some of the criminals were human, but many were demons. None of them would be missed and they would be forgotten as their identities were completely deleted as though they had not ever been born.

Some of the criminals were actually quite amusing to hunt and clever. They found ways to hide for a time or used nature itself to create weapons. Rocks and sticks did tend to cause a bit of a distraction. The natural weapons though were useless and the inmates did not ever live a full night. Every one of them was slaughtered, devoured, and there was nothing more than sometimes a piece of hair left stuck in between their teeth that the two demons would use a bone pick to pry free of their fangs. Sometimes the two demons found pieces of clothing or flesh was stuck in their teeth too. It wasn’t enough though for anyone to ever know what really happened. It would all be absorbed into their bodies and used as pure energy transferred to Inuyasha to heal his wounds.

At first Megan was unsure about the kill until she read the minds of these beings. Then it was easy except the taste. Humans tasted horrible, but they could not be choosey when it came to their prey.

Inuyasha sat up in his bed waiting for his mates to return pouting like a child as Raiden and Luna were at each of his nipples feasting on fresh milk as well as blood. Inuyasha was used to the pain now.

“Sure you three will get dinner, but I am stuck here in bed. I have to wait for my dinner to come to me and they always feed me some dumb idiot that I don’t get to chase because I am stuck here in bed. Mommy and Daddy are mean. Remember that my pups. They are big meanies who can go places while I am stuck here.”

Raiden, Luna, and Ronin looked at Inuyasha giggling as Ronin sat on the bed pulling Inuyasha’s hair as it was all tangled in the pup’s fingers. Inuyasha did not mind. He loved their children and was just happy to have someone to complain to that loved him. Their pups loved Inuyasha and the older boys had been in to torment him a bit too. Inuyasha was sick of being in bed though and had to stay in there for another week.

Sesshoumaru and Megan came in the door all bloody from the hunt. They dropped the unconscious bodies of two half wolf demons by the bed.

“You both look like you threw red paint all over yourselves and you stink like Kouga. What happened?”

Megan sighed letting Sesshoumaru explain since she felt sticky and gross.

“Our demons decided to be amusing and had us both roll in our kills.”

Sesshoumaru smirked. They did look rather gory. Ronin reached up to his Mommy Megan who was a mess. She wanted to hold him so much, but not like this since she indeed looked like a bad horror movie. Carrie came to mind by Stephen King, but she didn’t want to push it.

“Oh no you don’t, pup. You can go to Mommy after she takes her shower. All of you just had a bath so we are not getting you all bloody. Plus it is this Daddy’s dinner time.”

Sesshoumaru smiled as the servants came to get the pups. Helping Inuyasha off the bed ignoring the fact they got the sheets bloody he forced Inuyasha to do the change into his full demon that hurt like hell since his organs were still a bit mangled. It did help though for him to feast to heal his still very sore body. Licking up the blood from the floor he whimpered at his mates. Then it was done. Inuyasha returned to his form and fell forward into Sesshoumaru’s arms.

“Easy now my beloved, you don’t want to overdue. Let’s go shower now that we are all three a mess. Then it is bed time and snack time for me.”

Tonight Sesshoumaru bought a bag of oatmeal raisin cookies. Megan was forced to be active with him and as soon as Inuyasha was well again he would also be running around like crazy. The Tashio's were not known to sit still for too long.

“I know Miroku, Kouga, Ayame, and their babies will be there. We have nannies and servants no matter where we go. We have one thing there that we can’t get here. Megan thought about how things were right now. Sesshoumaru stated they would have breaks between each pregnancy, but if things happened sooner than the babies would be accepted no matter what. When Inuyasha learned he could get pregnant again before Raiden was born this kind of freaked him out. Megan had the same reaction until Sesshoumaru stated it would be a good fifty or more years before he hoped they would have more children. At this time they had a total of six children in each group of mates. It was a decent amount of pups for their first litter and kept things fairly even between siblings so they wanted to keep it that way.

“Megan, what if I can’t have any more pups? I don’t want you to be the only one having to breed for us. That would not be right. As hard as it is I still love having a child since there is a feeling so powerful I can’t describe it. I hate the aftermath, but the pain is always worth it to me.”

Inuyasha looked very sad. Sesshoumaru kissed his beloved brother.

“My love, do not worry. We are going to try to find a way to heal you. You have to drink more of our blood tonight. Then rest. The more we do this the better chance you have at healing your organs. Still I wonder Inuyasha if this is the best thing for you. You have had complications both times and your poor body may not make it the next time. I do not wish to lose you my love. I don't want to ever deal with your death again.”

Sesshoumaru stated as he picked Inuyasha up. Megan followed her mates as they went into the bedroom. Sesshoumaru wanted to lay with his two beautiful mates in the nude with no barriers. Lately he requested this often and his two mates just got used to sleeping naked with him.

Closing his eyes sleep came easily. Megan turned her head to look at Sesshoumaru as he fell into slumber. He was so beautiful when he was sleeping. I am really hoping to have another baby with him. I just want time is all. I know you want the same thing, but it is so hard for him. We are both in heat you know.”

Megan sighed and smiled as Inuyasha kissed Megan softly on the lips when Megan leaned over to kiss him. Inuyasha was so sore she wouldn’t make him move for such things.

“I want you both so damn much and I love both of you more than anything. We have to get better soon. I don’t think I can handle lying naked like this with you both and not be able to take advantage of it soon. His scent calls me just as it calls you.”

Megan looked at Inuyasha and thought about so many things.

“Inuyasha we have six children now. How are we going to be able to play our games and mess with our toys? We did not ever get as far as we wanted to go. I want to go all the way with this and with us no longer being pregnant as soon as we are healed I want to do this with you both. I just don’t know how the heck we can do this with children.”

Inuyasha smiled wanting to do that too.

“We have nannies. We are royalty Megan. Do you really think you spend most of your life raising your own children? It doesn’t work that way in demon society or with any royalty that I know for that matter. We will be spending a lot of time with them. Don’t get me wrong in that. We will raise our children as Sesshoumaru wishes, but there will be a time that he may decide for three months we are going to go someplace they can’t follow.”

Megan frowned. She wanted to raise their kids. What if their babies forgot about them?

“You are starting to think how I was feeling when I was all emotional. Our babies will be babies for many years before they even start to crawl or walk. We had demon children not humans and not hanyous. I was a half demon and now I am a full demon. Our children stay kids so we have time to watch them grow. We for this next year will be surrounding our children. Still we can’t stay here in this castle to do that.’
“Sesshoumaru’s right. We don’t have privacy here really, but it does not mean it is bad. We see this as our ancestral home so we come back here and we will visit the spirits of our family who will always be here. Family means everything to the Tashio pack.”

Megan looked into Inuyasha’s eyes.

“I want to try something if you will let me tonight. Close your eyes Inuyasha.”

Inuyasha had done this with Megan before. Closing his eyes a glow came from her fingers and she was able to look inside of him then touch areas healing them with this strange power they discovered one night when he was crying in his sleep. All she did touch him and he awoke with this golden light coming from her fingers. It was warm, safe, and felt good. It felt very good and removed all his pain for the night healing his body faster than the blood had been.

“Ok I have some good news Inuyasha.”

Inuyasha opened his eyes.

“What is it Megan?”

Megan sighed and did not want to give Inuyasha false hope.

“Your kidneys are healed and your organs are once again where they should be. Your reproductive organs are not there. They are gone and I don’t know why.”

Inuyasha sighed. This was strange.

“Dr. Hojo said they did that last time too. I wonder why myself.”

Megan wondered something as she had checked Sesshoumaru before and thought she was nuts. He smelled very different lately.

“Smell Sesshoumaru and tell me if I am crazy.”

Inuyasha smelled Sesshoumaru and his eyes went big.

“No fucking way. I know he wished such things once, but I know he did not mean it. Alpha males can’t do that!”

That was it. Sesshoumaru was awakened by the noise.

“You two are so noisy at night. What is up now?”

Sesshoumaru growled out not happy at being awoken by his two silly mates who talked like two teenage girls at night sometimes all night long.

Megan climbed on top of Sesshoumaru smelling his belly now that he was awake. Then Inuyasha now feeling rather good after Megan’s explorations and the fact she just finished healing him came over. Sesshoumaru frowned at his brother.

“Are you not in pain anymore little brother?”

Megan and Inuyasha smiled.

“No Megan healed me. We showed you her power, so let her find out something in you Sesshoumaru so we can see if we are right.”

Inuyasha stated with a big grin. If it was true then that new scent their beloved Sesshoumaru had been there for almost six months. They both kept blowing it off. Now they needed to know.

“What are you two up to?”

Megan smirked and Inuyasha nodded.

“Megan is just going to check something and then we can tell you. Please indulge us just for this once? It feels really good.”

Inuyasha begged with those big puppy eyes. Sesshoumaru sighed crossing his arms shrugging. What were his crazy mates up to?

Megan closed her eyes concentrating on that strange power they discovered a few days ago when Inuyasha tickled her making them both laugh as well as cry in pain. It felt like being with a bad kid and it was fun. Megan's face though this time was not joking or laughing since this was very strange.

“I can’t believe it.”

Megan said and looked at Inuyasha.

“You can’t believe what?”

Sesshoumaru stated looking at his mates as Inuyasha grinned crossing his arms.

“You are pregnant Sesshoumaru.”

Megan sighed. There was no way Sesshoumaru was going to believe it.

“I am an Alpha so that is impossible.”

Sesshoumaru growled at his brother pushing him off and moving to the side of the bed.

“This is not a joke Sesshoumaru and this is not funny. I know you are an Alpha, but you are pregnant with Inuyasha’s son and mine. Our blood mixed with yours created him.”

Inuyasha did not know how to comfort Sesshoumaru.

“Your scent has changed. We can verify it with Dr. Hojo.”

Sesshoumaru sighed and felt a headache coming on.

“Megan, show me through your eyes what you saw.”

Megan nodded and opened her mind up to Sesshoumaru as he placed his hands on her head then moaned in agony.

“Do you both have any clue what this does to my position as Alpha? What is the meaning of this? How is this at all possible?”

Sesshoumaru was going to lose his mind. Sesshoumaru knew his scent changed, but he blew it off as a fluke. He could not be pregnant. That would destroy his position as King. Unless they hid this pregnancy somehow from others and they told no one. He could not be around any demons though. Holding his head in his hands the frustration kicked in.

“What are we going to do?”

Inuyasha stated knowing the significance of this.

“There are two people you could trust other than us Sesshoumaru. Talk to your parents. They can advise you and not smell you. We will ask about Alpha births in reference to a hypothetical case. Pretend it is someone else we know or read about. I mean there should be scrolls here on stuff like this right? We will get answers Sesshoumaru and I know you want this child. He is very special Sesshoumaru and one of a kind like you. The son you carry is perfect. There is no other word for him. Our children are beautiful and wonderful. This one is perfect in every idea of the word I can think of. Here Inuyasha see this.”

Megan put her hands on his head and Inuyasha had tears in his eyes at the beauty of their son growing in Sesshoumaru.

“No matter what, I plan on having this child that is not the problem. The problem is my title. I can’t lose it. I worked too damn hard for this. I will be right back.”

Sesshoumaru got up and put some silky red pj pants on. He did not bother with a robe. He just went straight to the nursery looking at his sleeping children as his parents and Grandfather were standing over them. His Father’s eyes lit up as he looked at his beautiful son.

“You really did do well Sesshoumaru. Your children are all beautiful just like their parents. I am impressed since I don't think I could have even done as well as you have.”

Empress Louna smiled and so did Emperor Arashi Tashio at his Grandson before leaving the room.

“I have a question for you Father. Are we alone or do the walls have ears?”

Louna looked around.

“I will guarantee your privacy my son. Talk to your Father.”

Louna disappeared and Sesshoumaru now felt better.

“Father I am just going to tell you what is going on. We have not had many secrets between us. I can’t keep this to myself.”

Touga bid his son to sit by the large fireplace that roared with a magical blue flame keeping the room at just the right temperature. Then his Father sat in another chair.

“My son do you know there are many secrets even I kept in this our ancestral home that have not ever left this place? I have told many very private secrets to you and you have been very noble in keeping things silent for me. Whatever you wish to tell me does not leave this room unless you wish for such a thing to happen.”

Sesshoumaru sighed and nodded.

“I am an Alpha, a King. I am supposed to be the male and strongest of all living demons in this world. I am currently in a position that could destroy it.”

Emperor Touga Tashio smirked. He knew already what was going on with his son.

“You are pregnant my son. I know this.”

Sesshoumaru looked at his Father in shock and then became angry.

“Then why did you say nothing? Do you not know what this means?”

Touga nodded still smiling.

“Indeed I am very well aware of what this means. You see son I carried you in my body until you were born. You are perfect just as your son will be.”

Sesshoumaru’s jaw dropped.

“You did what?”

Touga chuckled at his son’s reaction.

“You my Sesshoumaru are my most perfect creation. You never asked me if I was the one who carried you or your Mother. You always just assumed things and so many times I tried to tell you. You were too angry with me and I understood after a while that telling you would not happen unless someday something like this occurred.'
"I carried you full term, nursed you, and you are mine in every way a parent would wish to claim as their own. You are my pride and joy.’
“Your Mother and I during the days of my reign did not choose a male to be with me. We did not make that decision as you have done and there is no shame in what you are doing as you know. We do not live under the stigmas of human morality since we are not human and can bear fruit being male so therefore our procreation does not cease to be. Your Mother’s blood chose for me to carry our child. It was both of our demon’s decision and I was most blessed since few could claim the glory of you my son.’
“This is your reign young Sesshoumaru. In my reign I did not hide my claim to you and this is why others attacked us since you are correct in your ideas that Alphas were not meant to carry young. Still it does not mean it is not possible. We Inu demons and canines are not unlike our feline relatives. Even bird demons have this capability and a few horse demons. Mainly it is in the feline and canine species of demon that allows us to do what most would consider the impossible. We had to in order to maintain the pure blood of our kind and since we were ostracized by others we had to make our own place for ourselves in this cruel world.’
“Our enemies threatened my masculinity. They threatened my position as an Alpha demon. I fought them all and won. Even before I died, my son, I won my battle. I was always an Alpha. In carrying you in my body I was still a man and the Alpha. My blessing of you changed nothing of who I am or my title. I am always a man and will always be a man.
