Chapter 35
Sesshoumaru walked towards the human village. Something did not smell right. It smelled of a new demon, not one he was familiar with.
“Inuyasha you will stay back until I return. I do not wish for you and our pup to be harmed.”
Inuyasha snorted.
“I can take care of myself Sesshoumaru. I am no weak prissy girl who can’t handle a battle.”
Sesshoumaru growled.
“You will do as I say Inuyasha or I will tie you up and gag you with my mokomoko until I return.”
Inuyasha pouted.
“Fine.”
Sesshoumaru entered the village and he could see Sango talking to some demon woman.
Rin came out at that moment and squealed out her Lord’s name.
“Lord Sesshoumaru!”
Running so fast to great her Lord she almost collided with him until she did a sudden stop like always.
“Rin, go wait with Inuyasha.”
Rin nodded and ran off to see Inuyasha as her Lord told her to while Sesshoumaru walked over to where the two women were talking.
“Woman, I know you.”
Kamarasui looked up and next thing she knew a large clawed hand was around her throat.
“Please don’t kill me Lord Sesshoumaru. I will do anything to set things right again. I am so sorry for my actions.”
Sesshoumaru growled.
“There is nothing you can do to make amends for what you have done to my Mother or to me. Now you shall feel my full wrath.”
Kamarasui’s eyes watered at being held in the air while her throat was being slowly crushed.
“Lord Sesshoumaru……..please hear her out before you pass judgment.”
Sango pleaded. The diayouki dropped Kamarasui to the ground.
“It better be something that is worth listening to.”
Kamarasui after catching her breathe explained everything.
“If I did not cooperate with the cat demons they would insure I was tortured into silence. If I had known how far they were going to go with their abductions I would never have agreed to help. It was a large amount of money and my greed is my undoing. I know this. So if you kill me now I would understand, but it was also my doing that set you free before I fled the area. I am just trying to get home, back to China where I belong.”
Sesshoumaru lifted up his hand and with his light whip killed Kamarasui. Sango looked shocked at this action, but Sesshoumaru was shaking in rage.
“No mercy?”
Sesshoumaru looked at Sango and growled.
“I was merciful. I gave her a quick death.”
Sango frowned.
“So there is no forgiveness.”
Sesshoumaru stopped for a moment ignoring the pulsing of tensaiga.
“Not for what this witch has done.”
Sango nodded and then went about the business of washing clothing again.
Sesshoumaru went back to get Inuyasha and Rin still ignoring the pulsing of his sword.
“Inuyasha you will stay back until I return. I do not wish for you and our pup to be harmed.”
