Returning To You

Chapter Thirty-Three


Kagome screamed as she felt something sharp pierce her neck. She yanked out of his arms and stumbled forward. Her hand flew to her neck to come back covered in her blood. Her eyes snapped to Yusuke demanding an answer.

His appearance had changed as he stood there. His hair had grown past his back reaching almost to his knees. His shirt was torn in several places, markings had appeared on his face, throat and lower arms.
There was also one on the top of his chest, he looked to be more muscular. Something told her she was in trouble when she looked into his eyes. They were glazed over taking on a glassy look.

She could feel the magic filling the cramped space, it was affecting him somehow. "Yusuke?" Fear laced her voice as his chest began to vibrate in some type of growl. His eyes stayed glued to her. She blushed when his eyes landed on her groin and stayed. "Hey, stop staring there you pervert."

His nose twitched as she watched and a fierce growl made her step back further. Was he smelling her? What the hell was going on? His face took on an angry look and he took a step forward and muttered one word. "Mine."

He covered the distance and she tried to run. He grabbed the bow out her hand snapping it in half. It fell to the ground leaving her unarmed. His hand went to her throat pinning her against the wall.

Kagome gasped in horror as his tongue trailed a path up her face. "Gross, stop Yusuke." She screamed trying to get through to him.


The other group finally made it to the end of the long hall to a set of double doors. Hiei could sense their target inside. "He's in there." Much to their suprise the doors swung open allowing them entrance. Thick laughter could be heard as they looked inside.

"Do come in. The show has already begun and I must admit it is getting good." The man sat on a chair with the staff in his lap. "I knew you would come. I hope my welcome was fitting." He smirked as they ran into the room.

"You look cocky for someone that's about to die." Hiei growled.

"Am I? That may be but then again do you mind if I finish watching? The best has yet to happen." He flicked his hand.

They watched as two thick layers of mist beside the man began to take shape to form a screen. The man saw their outraged gasps as the images were displayed. "Exciting isn't it? So far only one of them has been taken over. Don't worry your partner won't last much longer, he is about to break. Though I have to hand it to him, he has shown great resolve so far. Soon both girls will get exactly what they deserve for meddling in my affairs."

"Bastard." Hiei leapt at him and hit the barrier. He growled as he was thrown back. His eyes flickered to the image as he heard Kagome scream.


Kagome panicked when she felt his hand yank at the top of her jeans. She screamed and his hand tightened around her throat. She felt the button and zipper give way under the force. Her hands tried pushing against him, "Get off me."

She cried out when his hand slid into the pants. His finger found her entrance, he growled at finding her dry. A finger was forced in, her hand hit him across the face. She felt him begin to pump his finger inside her trying to get a reaction. Anger filled her, her knee came up slamming into his grion.

He stumbled back and she ran as far as she could. She had to stop at the wall there was nowhere else to go. Her eyes widened when she turned around. He was undressing as he walked towards her leaving no doubt what he planned to do.

She blinked for only a second and he was in front of her completely naked. Without thinking she placed a barrier around herself. His hands slammed into it, it caused him to become enraged. She sighed as he started to pound on it. It would keep him at bay until the others came to help.

Hiei sighed in relief at seeing her erect the barrier. Hopefully she'd be able to keep it up until they could kill the bastard sitting in the chair. "Hmph, seems your plan isn't as good as you thought."

"Yes, but then again how long can she hold that barrier up." He suddenly smiled. "Oh look it seems the bat has just lost. The taijiya can't erect a barrier by chance can she?" His laughter filled the room.

Kurama watched as Sango began to back up from his old partner. She seemed to sense the danger she was in. "No, you two go find them now." He yelled at Kuwabara and the houshi. "Get them out of there."

"Right." Kuwabara took off back down the hall with Miroku and Kirara on his heels.

Sango didn't know what to do. Whatever happened she didn't want to hurt him but she wouldn't let him kill her. Or anything else for that matter. Her heart sunk when she heard the growl he was emitting, then a sniffing sound. He was sniffing the air around him, she took a few more steps back. "Kuronue?"

He stood up slowly and turned to her. She gasped at the look on his face, she'd seen that look before. "No." He came for her, she brought the Hiraikotsu down. The broad side hit him in the side knocking him over. He got back to his feet gracefully.

She expected him to get angry about her striking him but his eyes were glazed over. Her resistance seemed to excite him more. The lust in his eyes burned brighter as she took up a defensive stance. He licked his bottom lip and smiled.


Hiei and Kurama charged the man sitting in the chair this time the barrier wasn't there. He was letting them through. Hiei slashed at him, the katana cut through the chair.

"Behind you Hiei." Kurama yelled.

The fire youkai felt something smash into his back knocking him to the ground. He rolled as the blasts hit the spots he was vacating. He jumped back to his feet and out of range.

Kurama couldn't see the man move, he was even faster than Hiei. It shouldn't have been possible. He watched as the man stopped to watch the monitors once more. Kurama looked over, panic filled him at the sight. They had to get the staff from the man. He heard himself scream as Kuronue managed to knock Sango's weapon out of her hand and climbed over her. The man seemed engrossed in the show as well. Kurama struck out, his whip slicing into the staff breaking it in two.

Sango blocked his hands with the Hiraikotsu, he seemed to be focused on going for her clothing. He gave up and his hands grabbed ahold of the weapon. She watched as he yanked it out of her hands and threw it behind him. "Shit."

His arms went around her, he soon had her pinned on the ground. She brought her elbow up slamming it into his nose. He growled grabbing both her hands in one of his. His mouth latched onto hers, his tongue tried to force its way inside.

Her lips parted and he moaned. Her teeth came down hard on his tongue. His head snapped back, anger finally in his eyes. She screamed when he lowered his head and sunk his teeth into her neck. She brought her knee up between them. He groaned over her but didn't let go of her tender flesh. "Get off." The knee lifted again harder this time. It had the desired effect and his mouth left her throat. She did it again causing him to roll over in pain.

Whimpers were heard coming from his throat as she rolled him over. She drew out her sword and placed it on his neck.


Miroku spotted the source as soon as they entered the courtyard. "Destroy the statue, hurry."

"Right." Kuwabara formed his sword and dodged the blasts coming from the eyes. He jumped in the air and brought it down on the marble. A cracking sound was heard as the energy ripped through the stone. He was thrown back as it burst into small pieces.

Miroku cried out as a piece flew across the distance and hit him in the face. The impact wasn't what hurt, the magic still contained on it did. It caused pain to shoot through his eye and the left side of his face. His hand flew up to dislodge it, it fell to the ground.

Kuwabara watched as the walls began to disappear, then the dust disappeared. He gasped at seeing a naked Yusuke hitting at Kagome. Then he spotted Sango sitting on Kuronue with a sword to his throat. "Umm, guys."

Yusuke slowly came to, his vision cleared. He looked to see Kagome standing in front of him with a scared look on her face. "What the hell is going on?"

"Nice ass Yurameshi." Kuwabara chuckled.

"What?" Yusuke looked down to see that he was indeed naked. "How the hell did that happen? Where's my clothes?"

"Sango, you can let me up now." Kuronue came to with a blade pressed against his throat. His eyes roamed over the girl sitting on his lap. He noticed the look on her face and he could feel his arousal slowly deflating. He felt his heart stop when he noticed the mark on her neck. He sniffed her and groaned. "Fuck."

Kagome saw that both were back to normal, her hand came out and slapped Yusuke across the face.

"What the fuck was that for?"

"For touching me you pervert. I didn't give you permission to touch me there, you have no right." She blushed as she screamed in his face.

Kuronue looked at her, he could see the blood drying on her neck. Seemed the same thing had been happening between the other two. "Technically he does, he marked you."

"WHAT?" Both girls screamed. Sango's hand went to the bite mark on her neck.

"Yes, that mark. I'm sorry." He looked up into Sango's eyes and saw the despair there. She shook her head at him, he didn't know what to say. "Don't worry, it will eventually disappear if it is not consumated."

"How long?"

"Depends. Wanna remove the blade now unless you plan on killing me." He watched her get off him and take a few steps back.

A groan got their attention, Kuwabara was standing next to Miroku who was holding his face. Sango ran over to see what was wrong with him. A side of his face around the eye was burnt and his eye closed.

"I'm okay just in a little pain. We need to get back to the other two they may need help."

"Don't worry about us." Hiei spoke as he came in the room. His eyes landed on the naked Yusuke and scoffed. "Put your clothes back on."

Yusuke did it quickly, he knew it would only be a few minutes before the man had realized what he had done. Sure enough as he was buttoning his jeans back up he heard the curse.

"Fool, you will die."
