Chapter Three: Too Far Sesshoumaru held Inuyasha in his arms for a moment then set him in the bed he had recently vacated. “Perhaps I went a little too far,” he thought as he stared at Inuyasha’s calm face. Bruises dotted across the soft olive skin of his neck. His eyes fluttered for a moment then opened fully. “You bastard,” he yelled pushing himself up from the bed. His ankle was still tender and twinged painfully as he shuffled his feet to the ground. “I’m going to kick your ass,” he yelled flinging a clumsy punch at Sesshoumaru. “That is rather unlikely,” Sesshoumaru gripped Inuyasha wrist loosely, “Your far too weak, at the moment, to beat me.” Inuyasha glared at him, his cerulean eyes flooding with anger. “You’re such a stuck up…” Inuyasha froze, his eyes clouded with pain. He slid a hand to his head. His other was still being held by Sesshoumaru who watched the hanyou in confused fascination. Inuyasha tugged his hand out of Sesshoumaru’s grasp and sat down on the bed. He clasped his hands over his stomach and leaned over the bed as if he was going to be sick. Sesshoumaru watched the first rays of sun dip into the room, and felt Inuyasha’s aura pulse. He watched as ebony locks melted away to sliver, olive skin became milky white, and cerulean shimmered to light amber. Inuyasha flopped back on the bed and raised a hand to his face. He flexed the digits, staring at the gleam of light that reverberated off of every claw. He quickly stood and bounced on his feet, testing his weight in his ankle which, thankfully, had almost completely healed. “Now, I’ll kick your ass,” he said taking a hasty swing at his brother. Sesshoumaru dodged the attack easily. “You are going to have to do better than that, hanyou.” Inuyasha yelled in anger and hurled an unsteady swing at his brother. Sesshoumaru slid out of the way, and appeared at Inuyasha’s back. He gripped Inuyasha’s shoulder to keep him from moving, and raised a clawed finger to Inuyasha throat. “This is tedious, hanyou.” Sesshoumaru said coldly, “Do you think I have so much time to be dallying with you?” “What the hell?” Inuyasha exclaimed exasperated, “Let go of me.” Inuyasha tried twisting his body out of Sesshoumaru’s grasp. “If you wish,” Sesshoumaru said tightening his grip on Inuyasha’s shoulder and sliding his clawed finger closer to Inuyasha’s neck, “I could end this right now.” His pushed the claw into Inuyasha’s skin making the hanyou back up until his body met with Sesshoumaru’s. Inuyasha slid his neck up as Sesshoumaru glided his finger along Inuyasha’s jugular. “It’s not as if I want you alive,” Sesshoumaru said in a menacing whisper. Inuyasha trembled slightly against him. His breath escaped his lips in gasps. Sesshoumaru was mesmerized by that look, that fear shimmering in the depths of Inuyasha’s golden orbs. The claw was replaced by the pads of Sesshoumaru’s fingers as he ran his fingers along Inuyasha’s neck, marveling in its soft feel. “Let go,” Inuyasha whispered his voice cracking.
